We had a lovely time looking after Baxter at John and Jean’s house. Baxter is an absolute sweetheart and very easy to look after once you get the hang of his routines - he sleeps a lot, but is still pretty sprightly for his age. The house is very comfortable and we were fortunate with the weather which meant we could enjoy the garden - we loved sitting on the back porch watching the birds - particularly the hummingbirds - and we enjoyed the fruit and veg that was ready for picking - as did Baxter who adores his peapods:)! Jean explained everything clearly when we arrived and also left useful written instructions as a reminder. The area is a quiet, tree-lined residential area that is great for strolling round on Baxter’s walks and also really well located for visiting local attractions and downtown Seattle. All-in-all, a wonderful experience for our first housesit - thank you John and Jean!
