We had such a wonderful time on this sit. Paul & Colleen were great hosts and really looked after us well before and after the sit. They have a beautiful house with views from the deck to die for. The nearby town Duncan is in the really attractive and interesting area of the Cowichan Valley in the centre of Vancouver Island so lots to see and do. The two 'boys', Levi and Fergus are really lovely dogs to look after, extremely affectionate and fun to be with. We would highly recommend this sit and would love to come back again if the chance arose.
What an amazing sit this is! Harley is the absolute sweetest. Just wants to keep you company, will follow you around everywhere and is always up for playing, walking and cuddles. He gets along well with other dogs and people and is just no trouble at all. Just a fluffy ball of love! Kim could not have been nicer or more accommodating and, of course, her place is fantastic. Right on the water with gorgeous views and the beach just steps away. Consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to do this sit!
Highly recommend this sit in Seattle. :) Derrick was thoughtful, easygoing and had everything prepared. His condo is newer, spacious and comfortable, perfect for working from home or relaxing. It's also in a great location. Greyson and Pepper are two of the sweetest cats you'll meet - I absolutely loved keeping them company and will miss them a lot! Greyson is particularly cuddly, and my phone is full of adorable photos. :) They're easy to care for and fun to play with. Thanks Derrick!
Lawrence has 3 amazing pets, Suki is a sweet and independent dog who immediately becomes your friend. We had some lovely walks and runs with her, she's an angel with other dogs and happily tries around doing her own thing. Bella and Dottie are also the sweetest. They love to cuddle up on your lap and purr, they are very cute together and all 3 of them would fall asleep together. Lawrence explained everything super well, and showed us around. His house is in a really beautiful area, and there is so much to explore
Riley is a sweet, adorable, and friendly older dog. I work from home, so I was around most of the time, working in the kitchen while Riley hung out there with me. (But he is okay being alone if you have to leave for a while.) He was always up for being petted, and he only rarely barked to express his needs, which were either to have more attention or to get more cheese in his food. He didn't protest often, but when he did, it somehow just added to his charm. Riley's normal bathroom routine is to get a morning walk and an evening walk, and a brief visit to the backyard in the afternoon. I never quite figured out how to get Riley to go out to the backyard, so I just took him for an afternoon walk instead. He doesn't take very long walks, so it was never inconvenient. Riley makes it clear when he's ready for a walk. He just stands up and waits. A friend of mine met Riley during the sit, and she called him "a perfect dog." I have to agree. Seth's home is beautiful and in a lovely neighborhood with plenty of big trees, mossy lawns, and colorful plants. It's also very close to a tram that goes to the center of town. I would do this sit again if I could. I highly recommend it.
Priscilla communicated well throughout the Sit. Diesel and Jade are sweet. Diesel requires a bit more attention and greatly enjoyed being petted. They were easy to corral into their kennel so there was no problem getting out the door for scheduled appointments. Priscilla’s house is a short walk to the above ground rail, which we rode to Hermann Park.
