We had a great time while petsitting the four fur-babies! Pamela and Glen have created a lovely family at their cosy and super comfortable house. We felt like at home and enjoyed the fire place (which cats love too). First of all we have to thank again Pamela and Glen for being so helpful and answering all the doubts we had during our stay, and cause they were extremely generous and kind with us. They are both amazingly good people. The four babies are sooooo lovely... We already miss them. From the beginning the 2 boys were totally happy around us and spent the evenings with us. The 2 girls needed more time to get used tu us (first night we struggle to make them enter and we thought "OMG they hate us", but of course they needed to be sure they could trust us and that is perfectly normal). However in one or two days we were already best friends and at the end they wanted to sleep with us (and Shmoke as well). All of them like to spend most of the day outside and (once they trust you) enjoy cuddles or being brushed during the evenings. During light hours you can find occasionally Bijoux checking around what you are doing, Shmoke asking for attention or Socky just sleeping inside. We enjoyed to play with them (use the laser or the yellow rope, they love them specially Shmoke! it is so funny...). In summary we totally recommend to take care of this cute cats! we really hope to petsit Mojo, Bijoux, Socky an Shmoke in other occasion or at least meet the family again! we are looking forward to see you all and enjoy a coffee or a cup of tea! thank you again Glen and Pamela!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day sit looking after Hatton. Hatton was an affectionate, easy to care for boy who enjoyed his routine being continued while his owners were away. The home and gardens were delightful, and we loved exploring the surrounding area with many walks, cafes, and friendly locals to engage with. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming, friendly, and easy to communicate with before, during, and after the sit.
This was such a wonderful sit. Leo is an adorable, sweet little goofball and the house is very peaceful and relaxing. Ariel and David were very organized and sent me a document ahead of time with all the information I needed. I stopped by a day early to meet them and they went through the house and yard very thoroughly so I felt comfortable with everything. Leo is very much connected to nature which includes his hunting instinct. He will definitely bring you presents - mostly alive, but some not so much - so if you are not comfortable with that it may not be the best sit for you. It took a couple of days for him to really warm up to me but after that he snuggled with me on the couch and slept with me. The house is truly a treasure in the way it is entwined with nature. Being surrounded by nature in such a peaceful place was quite heavenly. I would absolutely sit for Ariel and Leo again.
Angus is a gentle giant, such a beautiful dog who was a pleasure to look after in a lovely home well situated just off Lonsdale Avenue and easy access to the local mountains. Joanne and Craig were very welcoming, easy to contact and left some straightforward instructions. We felt very at home, would highly recommend for anybody who wants to explore Vancouver or even take a intercity mini-break which is what we did!
Phenomenal sit. Toby and Sawyer are easy, responsive, and very affectionate. Betsy is independent and adorable. Give the pups a little attention, walk them around their beautiful neighborhood twice a day and they’re happy campers. Betsy let’s you know exactly what she wants and when she wants it, It can be wanting in or out, being petted while she eats, or sipping from the sink. Dianna is a whirlwind who accepted my application while in Hawaii, then provided a comprehensive introduction and home tour by phone. The home is spectacular with a private pool/spa in a lush setting that feels like a tropical paradise, complete with morning to evening sun. As a bonus, it's one of the quietest places I've been in Florida. And then there’s Saratoga, a great city with museums, entertainment, shopping, events, surprises, waterfront Tiki bars, and the world’s most beautiful beaches, all short drives away.
What an incredible sit! My husband and I spent 3 weeks sitting for Basil and we could not be more grateful to William and Storm for making our time so wonderful. Kasane is at the edge of the Chobe National Park, and everything that has to offer. Storm and Will were wonderful communicators and provided us with everything we needed to know about such a unique location. And Basil... he is the sweetest. Well behaved, playful, and hilarious. He was an absolute joy to look after and we are just so thrilled to have had this experience and would come back in a heartbeat. Big recommend to anyone who is looking for an adventurous sit in Botswana!
