Sheba is the sweetest girl who loves cuddles and just being your little pal! Richard and Val were amazing hosts, leaving me little treats for the weekend😊 Their home is lovely, definitely felt like a little holiday for me! Thank you Richard and Val! Missing Sheba already!

We loved housesitting for Rebecca and Jim! Mushti is a complete ball of joy and one of the best dogs we have ever encountered. We really enjoyed our daily walks with him. The house is beautiful, tucked up in the hills with wonderful views of the valley and mountains; you are surrounded by olive groves and woods, yet only a 6 minute drive to the grocery store and cafes. This is the perfect sit for anyone who loves long walks and hikes, there are endless paths that leave from near the house with stunning views from the top of the nearby hills. This is also a perfect location to visit the charming, old and beautiful hill towns that are all around. Many are within a 10-30 minute drive, we felt like we could have spent weeks exploring all the little towns in the surrounding hills.
Having an evening fire in the woodstove was so cozy, as were the heated floors! The guest bedroom was large, modern with gorgeous views down the valley and a huge and very comfortable bed.
Rebecca and Jim were very easy to communicate with and were generous with sharing ideas for places to visit/hike/explore.
You would be lucky to get to sit here!

We had the best time sitting for Nikki and Thor! This young pup stole our hearts from the minute we walked in the door! And then he stole my spot in the bed!

Nikki was a fantastic host who made sure we felt right at home. Her home is beautiful and comfortable. We had everything we needed from bathroom essentials, to a fully stocked kitchen and the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a while (it has powered comfort controls!)

We spent a lot of time in the backyard playing Frisbee and fetch with Thor and we even watched the Eclipse together! When we weren't running all over the yard or playing inside, we were cuddling on the huge couch watching TV or playing card/board games. Thor is a very smart and curious pup. He especially loved watching us play Uno and insisted on being let in on the action!
We loved our stay and look forward to sitting for Nikki and Thor again.

Kristi and her family made us feel very welcome and it was a joy to house sit for all their animals.
Their comfortable home is on a beautiful farm property with pool, pond, gardens and pastures.
They have great neighbors too! The town of Peachtree City was easy to explore by their golf cart.
It's also a short car ride to Atlanta, where we were able to spend the day checking out museums and restaurants. Would do it again!

We recently finished a week-long sit in Haddington, and we can recommend it without hesitation as a great sit for anyone who works online and enjoys a mix of rural life and city exploration. Christophe and Bornie graciously welcomed us the night before with a lovely dinner, and it was nice to get to know them before they headed off on a family cycling adventure. They gave us a detailed tour of the house, so we felt very at ease and well-apprised of what to expect during our stay. Their son even set up his old Wii console for our daughter to play! The home is cozy and comfortable, within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and a large Tesco supermarket. Bus stops are right around the corner and the buses run approx every 15-20 minutes. It takes around 45 min to 1 hour to get into Edinburgh city center, depending on which bus you take.

The house has an amazing, huge back garden with apple and pear trees, raspberries, and various other fruit and veg growing around the edges of a massive grassy area. The labs very much enjoyed having a couple of good sessions of fetch in the garden each day, in addition to their normal walks. There are lovely parks and walking paths along the river and around some fields, all within easy access of the house. Pip, the terrier, would sometimes rather nap than come along for walks, though we found with a bit of coaxing she would often choose to join the labs on their outings.

It was our first time in Edinburgh, and it did not disappoint! Stunning architecture and history, incredible museums, and innumerable charming pubs and cafes. If you get the chance, both Edinburgh and Haddington are wonderful places to explore!
