Our stay at Jo’s and Paddy’s was the perfect introduction to London. After months of travelling we were so grateful to be welcomed by such lovely hosts, and to look after Dot, who was the sweetest wee dog we could ask for. She was always happy to cuddle up with us in bed or on the couch, and loved her daily walks to the park or Dulwich village. We have both woken up missing her since! Really lovely sit and we would highly recommend to anyone interested.
I cannot express fully enough how much I enjoyed looking after Bark8, the true king of his house. The house itself is in a fantastic location on the Eastside of the city; very close to multiple bus stops and a 10 minute walk to the Central line. The place is spacious and comfy. Antione and Mica were so lovely and communicated with me, both in advance and during the stay, very efficiently. Above everything else wonderful about the stay is the true star- Bark8. He is chatty, cheeky, and oh so lovable. He was the most handsome and excellent little companion. I already miss him so desperately! I hope to sit for Antione and Mica again, and would do so in a heartbeat.
What can we say about Emily and Joel that would even come close to encapsulating their generous hospitality? Our housesit was as enchanting and blissful as they are. They truly went above and beyond as hosts and are overall just wonderful human beings. They were extremely communicative and detailed oriented - provided us a list of trails to walk around the beautiful Hudson Valley and of course food recommendations as well! Cleo is also the sweetest old lady who still kept us entertained with her adorable puppy-like curiosity on our long walks. We were stunned as housesitters by how perfect this experience was and would house/dog sit for Emily and Joel a thousand times over!
Buddy was such a chill and explorative cat! Brenna and her partner were very communicative and easy going. Their place is absolutely beautiful and we are grateful that we got to spend time exploring the friendly Vashon community! Thank you again!
I had so much fun doing this house sit! Loes is the cutest cat ever, she really is the queen of the house! I also got to take care of Sammie the dog, who has such a sweet personality. Both pets love sitting in the garden with you when the sun is out! Sammie also enjoys playing with her toy, which she will put in your lap if she wants you to play with her! It was great taking her for walks in the nearby forest. Rinka was super friendly, I met her and her sons when they returned from their trip. It was nice catching up with her! Before I arrived, she told me everything I needed to know about the pets and her home. She lended me her bicycle as well, which I really appreciated. It was great for trying out the different cycling routes in the area. Her home is beautiful and spacious, and close to the center of Breda. Thank you for your hospitality, Rinka, and perhaps we’ll meet again in the future!
What a lovely sit! Craig and Adrienne welcomed us to their eco-conscious, passive solar, plant-filled house a day and a half early in order to accommodate our schedule. What luck it was for us! They are such kind, caring, gentle hosts. We enjoyed dinners together and communication was both easy and entertaining. Sebo and Chaco are very self-sufficient boys who love outside exploration and indoor cuddles. They were quiet nighttime sleepers and even though Adrienne is a very early riser both kitties were flexible and allowed us to sleep in for an extra hour before needing to be fed. The location is beautiful. You can walk the scenic community roads and access a national forest loop directly from the house. The views are grand and it's only about 10 minutes outside of Lyons where there's a great coffeeshop and small market. Boulder is a very easy 25 minute drive. Wonderful people and pets!
