I had a great time sitting for Sarah and looking after Harvey. Communication with Sarah was great, she left robust instructions and plenty of ideas for walks. Chipping Campden is a fantastic location and I enjoyed several meals out, within a 10 minute walk of the house. Easy to follow dog walks were also on the doorstep and Harvey was very well behaved on and off lead. Owing to the building works, I stayed in the annex, which I found to be an ideal set up for a solo sitter. Spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed, lovely en-suite and a well equipped little kitchen. The garden was gorgeous for sunny afternoons. I’d be delighted to sit for Sarah again.
Saskia’s flat is lovely! It’s tiny but eclectic and very comfortable! Casper is a wonderful companion and quite vocal to remind you of important occasions (like dinner time!) The flat is located in the middle of a lovely village which provides everything you will need and an easy bus ride into Aberdeen! For a single sitter, I recommend this sit!! We had an amazing experience staying at Darren and David’s, they were extremely helpful throughout our stay, answering any questions or queries we had. Lottie, Razzy and Kasper were great fun to look after, and while Kasper needs extra care this was easily managed thanks to the detailed instructions left to us by Darren and David. The house is lovely and the surrounding area has lots of interesting things to do. We enjoyed our stay here, loved the cats and would thoroughly recommend Darren and David to anyone!
I had a lovely time with Elon! He is very much a gentle giant. He is an awesome walking companion, does great off his lead, and will communicate when he wants something, be it water, dinner, or to be let out in the yard. He is a happy, sweet, friendly dog! Alexa and her family were also wonderful! They were kind, welcoming, and communicative, answering any questions I had. Their home is comfortable and lovely. Kenilworth is charming. I loved walking around Abbey Fields, visiting Kenilworth castle, and walking the Millenium Trail.
We had the most wonderful 5 week housesit with lovely Melody! Bob and Maureen are very nice people and are hospitable and generous hosts. We arrived a day early so there was ample time to get to know each other a little bit and show us around the house and garden and introduce us to Melody. Bob also left very clear information in writing and has made videos explaining how some devices work. We appreciated this as it meant we could ensure we did a good job in line with their expectations. Furthermore, there was a lot of printed information about useful and fun things to do in the area. This was also appreciated by us, best to get this info from a local 😊. Communication before and during the sit with Bob went very well also, he always responds very quickly. Their home was clean, cozy and very comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the large deck that overlooked the large, nice garden. We saw squirrels, some rabbits and even a turkey wandering around. The neighborhood felt safe and is well connected to major highways, close to shopping malls, historical sites, museums, beaches and harbors, and woodlands to discover. Last but not least: Melody is a sweetie, she quickly won our hearts. She loves attention and likes to be around you. She has the most special way of asking for attention, very cute. We would recommend this housesit and would love to return some time!
