Barney, Susie and the girls gave us a warm welcome, the house was comfortable and well equipped, in a superb quiet country hamlet location with some very pretty villages within a few miles, and within easy reach of Norwich and some of the finest beaches in Norfolk and Suffolk. We fell I love with both Elsie the Cockapoo and Pepe the beautiful cat. Sadly nobody could have done anything about the appalling wet weather for most of our short stay, but we still found local places to walk with Elsie despite the waterlogged fields and partially flooded lanes! When the rain finally eased off enough for longer outings she loved running in the nearby fields, but could be relied on to return almost instantly when recalled. Responsive and well trained, playful and lively but never naughty, and very affectionate Elsie was a delight to care for. Thank you Barney and Susie.
Sue has a beautiful home and garden and treated us to an incredible home cooked meal the night we arrived. We would not hesitate to sit for her again if asked.

Ralphie is a sweetheart and we had a great time! The house is in a great location with a lot in walking distance - something I haven’t experienced since I was in Europe. It felt great to be able to walk to the grocery store, coffee shop or restaurants. Andrew and Stevie were very accommodating and nice!

Tails begin wagging the moment my two (young senior-aged) dogs see we are pulling into the Dog Ranch. They both seem at ease with the staff from start to end. They love being there. I have seen nothing but attentive staff, clean facilities and a playful 🐕 environment. I never worry when leaving my dogs there, which cannot be said at some other places I used back in the past. I also like that the owner(s) lives onsite, so someone is always nearby.

The best boarding facility we’ve tried by far. The staff and facility are top-notch. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The dogs have plenty of space to relax and play. I don’t feel anxious when I drop my dog off at the Dog Ranch because I know he will be well taken care of. So grateful that it exists!
We've used the Dog Ranch for boarding/day care for 9+ years. We have multiple dogs of various sizes. This is their home away from home. Our big dogs love the outdoor runs and for us thats a must for a week of boarding. The Ranch is clean, secure, well run and the owners and staff truly care about your animals. My dogs often do not want to come home! If you're looking for a day care/boarding kennel, stop in and ask for a tour. If you're boarding around the holidays just make sure to book early since they book up fast.
They are friendly to the humans and awesome with the dogs. We have an Australian Shepherd & Pitbull mix puppy who is HYPER!!!! I love letting him run with the other dogs and when I pick him up, he is happy and tired 😂 …
I'm a professional dog trainer who recently moved from out of state and am so thankful to have found The Dog Ranch to board my dogs! I have 7 dogs (2 Belgian Malinois, 3 British Labs, a Great Dane and a Lab mix) that range in age from 15 months to 10 years old. I was anxious leaving them anywhere since they've always been housed at my own kennel facility until I moved. The entire staff at The Dog Ranch made me feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with them, and they took excellent care of everyone. The kennel is incredibly clean with excellent air flow, large runs indoors and out, and very friendly and accommodating staff (I'm a little high maintenance when it comes to my dogs). I'm so grateful to have a place to board my dogs and not worry about them when I have to travel. I highly recommend them!
Great place. They really take care of your pet and offer a few standard amenities. Pleasant and helpful staff. Our dog always knows when we pull in the parking lot that he's going to play with his friends and freaks out with excitement. The only drawback is that they don't take credit cards, but with all the CC fees for businesses, I can understand.
This is the best place to board your dog. Tons of outdoor activities including swimming.
Highly recommend the dog ranch! All the girls here love our dog just as if he was their own. He gets so excited when we pull in the driveway to see everyone. Facility is always spotless and smells clean. Our pup comes home tired from swimming and playing all day, but can’t wait to come back!
