Dog Sitters in Romeoville, IL

Claire and Rosemary were perfect! Given that I had had a very bad experience with housesitters a month before their sit, I was more apprehensive than I've been. But from our initial interview I knew they would be great. I feel badly that I left the house in the handover in slight disorder, with the festive season and packing to go abroad as well as cleaning up from the privious housesitters who did a lot of damage, I wasn't able to handover to Claire and Rosemary the way I would normally do so, with a full guide and instructions written out, a spotless house etc. But with all of that and given the sit wasn't very long, Claire and Rosemary did incredibly well! I managed to run through everything the morning I left with them in person, they were communicative and helpful, gave me regular updates and left the place clean and the animals well cared for. I felt relieved when I got back, it was a very nice feeling. I highly recommend them, I'm sorry we didn't get more time to chat and get to know each other, the fesitve season was particularly chaotic this year. I would gladly have them back if they were available!

Anna was very good about communicating with me before and during her sit. She was also cooperative about coming one day early to meet the pups before I left on my trip. I felt comfortable leaving my precious pups in her care. I cleaned the house before my trip, and Anna left the guest bedroom and bathroom in good shape. The kitchen, however, was not left as clean as I had hoped. Other than that, I was pleased with the sit.

What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

Alex and Ryann were incredible! They included our Calvin in so many fun hikes and adventures! He has so much fun and they constantly kept us updated with pictures and texts. We would definitely welcome them back again! ☺️

Denise and her family were nothing but wonderful! They came to the house to meet us and the dogs and were so friendly. They took the best care of our pups and left the house better than they found it. Our communication was great and they even sent us pictures. If you have any hesitation, just approve them, they were fantastic!

Kory, It was a pleasure to have Kory watching my dogs. My dogs were very well taken care of and became good friends with her dog Zoey. Kory communicated with us, sent us pictures of Oli and Beni. We came back to a clean house and happy dogs. I highly recommend Kory if you are looking for a clean, responsible and caring sitter. I hope I get to see Kory and Zoey back in Utah.

Mary Pat was great for this weekend stay. Dexter and Luna warmed up to her and she was very communicative for the twice-daily updates that I requested. Would love to have her back.

Mary cared for our two dogs for an entire month and they were never more spoiled with her frequent daily walks to the park, ball chasing, and lots of therapeutic ear, rubs, belly rubs. We never for a moment ever worried about the care of our dogs as she was always in Daley contact by sending us photos of the dogs. She also took great care of our house and yard. The house was immaculate when we returned and you could not tell that she had stayed.. we would highly recommend Mary for Eddie HEAD said he needs and we wished she lived closer as she would become our personal/housesitter.

Ralph and Barb were great sitters. They loved Finn, gave him plenty of exercise and attention, and were exceptional home sitters. We'd welcome them back any time. They were clear communicators, attentive, and fast to respond to answer or ask any questions. So we were able to enjoy our time away without any cares or concerns. Madisyn sat for us three times over the month of July (see other reviews for more info about how wonderful she is). We lucked out big time - Madisyn was a great communicator, super reliable, thoughtful, clean, etc. We would have her back in a heartbeat. Your pets and house will be in great hands with her!

Amazing experience! Gus and Rosie were exhausted when we came home and adventured every day. We hope Kristi can come back again soon!
