I have never seen my cat warm to a visitor—let alone a sitter—so quickly. I knew Charlie would be in good hands from the moment Shelley walked in the door. Shelley was reliable and communicative coming up to the sit, and arrived on time for me to give her the keys and show her the place before I left. The house was tidy when I returned, and Shelley even stocked up the coffee filters that had run out during her stay (thanks, Shelley!). Before I left, I requested updates and photos via email. These didn't come, and more communication during the sit would have helped put my mind at ease. But all in all, Shelley was a first-class housesitter and I highly recommend her. Thanks, Shelley!
From the moment we met Ken and Jane we immediately liked them. They were so warm and friendly. They fell in love with our little Calle and took wonderful care of her while we were gone. Jane and Ken texted us everyday and sometimes multiple times each day with pictures and cute little sayings as to what they were doing with her. What a surprise when we came home, they had lunch waiting for us. We were amazed by the way they kept our home, everything was spotless. We would highly recommend them as house/ pet sitters. In fact, we're hoping that they are available next year.
We loved our two week stay in Bend with Teddo and Tigger for many reasons. One highlight was Bend, a great outdoor spot in the high desert of Central Oregon in mid-summer. Teddo loved the Pine Nursery dog park and we loved the Deschutes River, the recreational opportunities, and the stellar restaurants. Kasey and Ryan’s home is spacious, comfortable, and conveniently located to downtown Bend. It was easy to get to most locations within 10 minutes of their home. The backyard provided shade and a great space for the ever sweet Teddo to retrieve balls. We also had daily visits from Tigger who spends most of his time outside. He warmed up quickly and sought out ear scratches daily. He is incredibly independent yet surprisingly affectionate. The pets’ behavior matched the advance descriptions we received. Kasey was our main contact regarding the timing, and details. Her happy disposition and helpfulness made the stay easy and pleasant. We enjoyed meeting the whole family and appreciated receiving a thorough in-person overview before the start of the sit. All in all, it was a pleasure to meet this family and their beloved Teddo and Tigger. We’d absolutely return in the future.
