Jacqueline and her husband house/pet sit for us while we were away. They did a great job. Went above and beyond to take care of the pets and the house. They text with any questions they had as well as sending pictures just to check in.
This was a short, but altogether very lovely sit. John and Ali were very welcoming in their beautiful family home. John was particularly easy to deal with in the early hours when there was an electrical problem that ended up being with the power company. The house is in a lovely setting with plenty of room. Mango and Coco are very lovable dogs and the chickens were also easy to care for. The eggs tasted amazing! We highly recommend this sit and would gladly return. Thank you.
We had a wonderful sit with Jack and Jess. Two cats with wonderful and friendly personalities, and so nice to spend time with. Sarah and Glenn’s house was lovely, just like the pictures. Very clean and homey, with nice touches throughout! Communication was amazing, they were always very quick to respond and gave us plenty of great recommendations around the area, which is beautiful and peaceful. Thanks for a lovely two weeks, we highly recommend if you get the opportunity.
Baby boo and Janet are so full of personality and they were such sweet and loving cats. I was a little nervous about Chiquita (their new rescue) who was very shy and scared but got the hang of her needs pretty soon and all was well. Valerie and Jon were so extremely responsive and friendly. Left very clear notes and made me feel so comfortable in their space.
There aren't enough kind and positive words to describe our experience with Jo and Eddy and their loving pets Alf and Moby. Truly beautiful souls. If you're looking for love, you'll find plenty of it in this home. In addition to being welcoming and generous, Jo and Eddy went above and beyond by providing my partner and me with a detailed list of food, events, and hikes to try (catalogued by price point and distance!). Alfie and Moby are both affectionate and great communicators. We had no issues with knowing whenever Moby wanted to be inside or outside, and we could always tell when Alfie was ready for some playtime. We would happily housesit for Jo and Eddy again. They are a wonderful couple, and their pets reflect that. Anyone would be fortunate to have the opportunity to care for them :)
My stay with Mojo has been my favorite sit so far! Mojo is a well-behaved, sweet dog. He warms up to people and dogs immediately and LOVES to snuggle. He would lay on me while I read in the garden, cuddle while I worked on the couch, and snuggled under the comforter at bed time. Mojo is excellent on walks—both on and off lead. When he’s had enough, he’ll grab the leash in his mouth and guide you home. Carrie’s communication is excellent—it was easy to reach her when needed and we organized a time to meet before the sit started so everything would go smoothly. Carrie’s house is gorgeous—maximalist style, with all the amenities you could want. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor garden space since we had some rare sunny days in London. It was also such a treat to get to know her housekeeper (and to have help around the house). The neighborhood is safe and has great access to buses and the tube so you can get anywhere you need in the city. There are also a couple grocery stores and many restaurants/coffeeshops/bars within walking distance of her home. I loved being so close to the river, which is one of Mojo’s favorite walks. If given the chance, I would definitely come pet sit Mojo again in the future!
Luciana was a very generous host and communication with her was straightforward and easy. She gave us all the information we needed and made sure we felt welcome in her home. Saige is a sweet calm dog. She loves going for long walks and running after sticks and will greet you with excitement in the mornings and whenever you return home. Luciana's apartment was comfortable and Hitchin is a nice town with a cute town center. We will be back!
