Dog Sitters in Ropley

Lucy was a wonderful housesitter - she arrived in good time so that we could go through everything together calmly and made sure that she understood the ins and outs of all the animals needs and the quirks of our old farmhouse. While we were away Lucy stayed in touch and let me know how things were going. She was wonderfully calm with all the animals and they seemed very relaxed in her company - there was a huge storm whilst we were away and Lupi, one of the spaniels, is terrified. Lucy was ready for it and stayed with her (and the other 3 who decided to stay close too!) until the storm had passed and she had calmed down. It was a pleasure to meet Lucy and I think my animals were very lucky to have her as their housesitter! Thank you so much Lucy.

What a star!! Jeanette went above and beyond in terms of what she did to look after our dog Wookie for 8 days. Wookie was in forced cage rest with a buster collar/cone following an operation after a car accident, and therefore needed very specific attention and care. Jeanette knew this, and took it all in her stride - we had brilliant regular video and text updates of all the exercises she was doing to help Wookie recuperate and keep sane. Plus recommendations of additional equipment that would help her. She is clearly a very experienced dog carer/handler! Not only did she do all this, but was always friendly, smiley and very respectful of our private space in the house. The house was very clean when we got back home, and Jeanette had even washed and hung out the bed sheets - this was so welcome when you come back from a busy week away! So we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jeanette or use her again; she's exactly the type of person you'd really hope to find on Trusted Sitters :-) Joff Marshall-Lee

Stan is an absolute GEM! From the first zoom to daily communication and photo and video updates. Stan has a wealth of knowledge on dogs so it was a no brainer to accept his offer to sit for Dorothy. He was patient and kind and such a support to her introducing her to a new area to walk and making new friends. Dorothy is partially sighted and it’s been tricky for me with only having a ready trained dog before hand. I’m so grateful to Stan for the training he gave Dorothy while sitting her and the care and attention. My home was left clean and tidy and I would 100% book Stan to stay again if he would like to! Thank you Stan!

Brenda and her daughter Erin immediately inspired confidence that they would be able to step in and take over the house and smallholding with the sheep, hens and dogs. Everything was managed perfectly and was left looking immaculate - better than how we had left it! It was a pleasure to meet them both would definitely recommend both Brenda and Erin as housesitters.

Excellent dog and house care provided by Georgia & Ben. We hope that they are available again when we travel later in the year. Highly recommended!

Livia and her family did a wonderful job of looking after all our animals - and we have quite a lot of them.

It was very reassuring to have Juliet to look after Sandy. Juliet asked excellent questions and has helped make the welcome pack for the house better and more comprehensive. the house was immaculate on our return. We and especially Sandy would be delighted to have them sit for us on another occasion.

Brodie and James did a great job looking after our dog, Charlie, and our house and we would highly recommend them to others looking for pet sitters. They communicated really well during the sit - we got regular photos of Charlie enjoying walks. When we saw them all together, when we got back, It was clear that Charlie had been well looked after! We had a lovely initial meeting with Karen and Mark, which put me completely at ease with them looking after our animals and home - from the first point of contact they were reliable, and filled me with confidence of their ability to look after everyone like I do. On returning home, the house was absolutely immaculate the animals were so happy having clearly had an amazing time, and the garden had been watered really well! Karen and Mark kept us posted daily of the goings ons, and left concise notes for us when we got home. I would happily recommend Karen and Mark, and hope they come back to us soon!

Rose and Kevin sat for us last weekend. They were great house and more importantly dog sitters. The dogs (a lab and a JR) obviously loved him! Prior to the weekend they came many miles out of their way to meet us and our dogs, this was much appreciated. They were happy to fulfil the housesit in spite of a new job and imminent relocation. . I thoroughly recommend them.
