Brian was absolutely fantastic. Very kind, easygoing guy, and very responsible. He clearly gave my dog a lot of love and care. You would be lucky to book him.

I spent a delightful 3 days with the lovely Rita and Fritz. They are darling dogs, incredibly well behaved and very easy to look after. You will be rewarded with love and as many cuddles as you can handle! Their routine is easy to follow and Gerhard made sure I had everything I needed.

Hollie
I had a wonderful time housesitting for Hollie with Lily & Salty. Hollie's loft/condo is really comfy, and it is literally surrounded by awesome, totally yummy ATX eats... just a few minutes walk or drive in every direction. Her bed is super (you'll sleep well), her main living area is clean, pretty, and peaceful, & the kitties absolutely divine company (almost no "work" to care for, and Salty especially is "all play"). Both cats are sweet l'il cuties! Hollie was a kind, generous host, and excellent communicator.

I highly recommend this sit to anyone coming to visit Austin (especially if unfamiliar with the city). You couldn't ask for a better location from which to do your exploring by foot, car, or Lyft, while still in a quiet place without any loud nightlife blaring, when it's time to enjoy some cozy retreat space.

Bevin
Without hesitation, I highly recommend sitting for Bevin!

She is friendly, communicative, generous, and helpful. Her easy going attitude made this sit comfortable and welcoming. I met her before the sit and she explained everything simply and clearly. Tending to the chickens was new to me, yet it was easy to get the hang of it after Bevin showed me how.

Pablo was simply a joy to spend time with. He is a smart, calm, and happy dog who loves being around people and adores belly rubs. On neighborhood walks, everyone seems to know him and they say hello, so you feel like a part of the community. He is super sweet, extremely well-mannered, and capable of gently "telling" you when he wants to go out into the backyard or a rawhide treat.

The familyʻs solar home in West Asheville is beautifully crafted and super comfortable with large windows. It was a wonderful atmosphere for working from home with many areas to work from such as kitchen table, window seat, upstairs or downstairs couches. or screened in porch. And itʻs only a 2 block walk to restaurants, music venues, coffee shops, and more.

If you get a chance to sit for Bevin, take it.

Anne
Anne was nice and easy to work with for setting up the house sit. She was inviting and the house was very clean with spare sheets ready. She also offered to let Mel stay a couple extra nights when a sudden need came up, which was appreciated even though I'm the end it was not necessary. Rafiki was a very fun and cute cat!

After staying at Anne's place for almost a month. We cleaned the house for several hours, washed the sheets and remade the bed with clean sheets, left only a couple dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Yet immediately after Anne got him from her trip we received a hostile message about the bottom of the sink being dirty.

We always discuss what our hosts expectations are with consumables (food, etc). Anne said something to the effect of 'there isn't much food, I would normally have more food but I had exactly what I needed before my trip' and added that 'nothing was off limits'. We consumed less than $15 of food in our month stay. But we also received a hostile message about the fridge being empty. Which is incredibly inappropriate and confusing considering when we started the sit the fridge was empty.

It was a real bummer to have what was a nice house sit ruined by unfair criticism and hostility.

Russ
Russ and Dinuka, are very kind hosts, I felt very welcomed there, they have a beautiful spacious, modern home, that is very comfortable, well situated, and with everything you need in it!
I found lots of green space in the area they lived, and walked different trails almost every time I took their dogs out! They have three very sweet dogs that are great on their leash, I walked them all together a lot of the time, and sometimes just the two younger ones together if I wanted a longer nature walk.
They have one puppy, one middle aged, and one older dog, each with their own needs and personalities.
They love love love the company of humans and it is their happy place!
So if you're up for lots of cuddles, and fun, I highly recommend this cute little fam!

Christine
We found Christine and Mike a very welcoming and generous couple who took us out to dinner on our first evening, which was a great opportunity to chat and get to know them better. Their home is very comfortable and set against a pretty woodland backdrop. There area is really interesting with lots of places to visit if you like castles and abbeys.
Star of the show was Cherry, a very sweet natured young lab who was obedient and a pleasure to take out on the lovely woodland walks nearby. We also took her to the seaside which she loved. We even got to visit the Yorkshire vet as Cherry developed a sore eye part way through the sit. She was very good with having eye drops administered and was also gentle with our old retriever who was with us too.
We would thoroughly recommend this sit and would not hesitate to return.
