Watching Roo was a delight. The space is comfortable and in a fabulous location with easy access to all of Berkeleys attractions. Jen was a great communicator about her needs and Roo lives in an ideal neighborhood for dogs. Very walkable, safe, nearby hiking trails in the hills and shopping, all close by.
Leslie was really wonderful at all times. Roxie is a bit shy at first, but ends up warming up. Good location to explore a bit of Rome!
Kelly made my pet/house sitting experience so incredibly easy! Ruby and Roxy were the sweetest pups to care for and were so welcoming and loving. Thank you both for the lovely stay! We had such a nice time. Luna and Sira are such lovely kitties to care for. Luna is adorable, super fun and playful, and loves a cuddle. Sira is initially shy, but also likes a bit of a play when you get her involved, and will come for some affection and love after a couple days of getting to know you. We miss them dearly! Martha and Taeo's home is also a great location; it takes about 45 minutes to get to Oslo via a bus near their home and then a 20 minute ferry, which is fun! The bus always arrives on time for the ferry to Oslo, and there is always a bus back home waiting for you when you get off the ferry! It's very easy and convenient. There is a regular and quick bus to the local shop too. Their home is very warm and cosy. They told us everything we needed to know, and were so kind as to pick us up and welcome us into their home and tell us about the area and things we should do. Thank you Martha and Taeo! We hope to be back again one day :)
We feel so honoured for having the chance to meet Lemon, who's a highly intelligent and highly empathetic dog we totally fell in love with. Take her for a couple of walks a day, play with her toys at home and feed her once and she's a happy dog. She can also just be let out in the backyard if she needs, so this gives you more freedom to plan your day and decide when to walk her, without being forced to go out for potty walks! She's also very well trained so she always behaved and we were able to leave her off leash from the second day, without any problem. Actually, we don't even know how she sounds as she never barked or whined once, when we were there! XD We met Paul and Christy just briefly before they left with their cute girls but communication was always great and the house tour+instructions were really good: we got the information we needed, without being overwhelmed by them. Their lovely house is in a quiet area, with many trails around and close to the village centre, where you can enjoy cafes and restaurants. For a long sit we'd suggest to have a car, as you'd need to head to Courtenay to buy groceries. If you can, don't waste a chance to meet Lemon because she's a very special dog 🧡
