What a wonderful sit. The most gorgeous kitty. Comfortable home with great jacuzzi bath. Lovely location for visiting Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. Darts farm a must for brunch. Misty jumped in car on last day and we were tempted to drive off with her. Always available to sit for Misty.
Milly's cottage is lovely and comfortable and has some of the best views imaginable! The River Wye is literally just below and the picturesque historic village of Brockweir adjacent. The bed was extremely comfortable! We absolutely adored the tortoises - they are so interesting and comical to watch. They are fairly easy to look after and came with detailed instructions. Piti the cat is a real character and soon had us wrapped around her paw. It is a stunning area to visit with the River Wye on which we kayaked, Tintern Abbey an easy walk away, hundreds of footpaths to explore and a bus stop nearby. There is an excellent farm shop in the village, a pub and a brewery across the bridge! The historic towns of Monmouth and Chepstow are nearby. We would recommend this sit to anyone especially those who love walking! But we would also love to come back and sit again - dates permitting!
Within hours, we were obsessed with Smooch! He’s a wildly unique cat - very friendly, handsome, very appreciate of pets and snuggles, but also not highly demanding/velcro easy. I don’t know how Alex got so lucky, but clearly Smooch got lucky too as Alex is a clear animal lover and animal companion. It’s hard to know what else to say other than 10 out of 10, this Petsit rules, and we want to come back again soon.😆 … but that wouldn’t be very helpful. So I’ll add 1) Smooch is even better looking in person, and when shaved, has a lovely silky little body. It’s soothing putting him and he’ll never deny you the opportunity. 2) Alex keeps a clean home. It’s spacious and has great internet for work zoom calls. Lovely, quiet bedroom to sleep in. Alex is responsive over messages and fun to chat with. 3) The neighborhood is lively. Lots of great restaurants nearby and easy to get to a grocery store. Plenty to do without a car! Run, don’t walk, to this excellent petsit!
What a wonderful experience - I adored this sit with sweet Jeppe! Daniel & Alex’s house is amazing. They live in a lovely area with lots around, you barely need to drive. The neighborhood is ideal for dog walks, so many beautiful homes and plant life to enjoy. Daniel & Alex were very communicative and had everything in place for my sit! Jeppe was the star of the show. He loves to play, has so much personality, and is well behaved! What a special pup to befriend! Daniel & Alex are extremely thoughtful, and the whole family was an absolute joy!
I had a super chilled weekend looking after Harley and Mia in Lola's and Danny's house. Harley is a very lively and affectionate dog. He loves spending time with you, going for walks, running wild, interacting with other dogs and moving your shoes around the house. Mia is a typical cat and mostly just goes off and does her own thing. But she is a very friendly creature when she is about and loves to be stroked. Although Harley can get a bit jealous if he sees you giving too much attention to Mia. Lola and Danny were very accommodating and made me feel instantly at home in their home. The process of securing this sit was very straight forward and the communication with Sarah was clear and informed throughout. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. It's right next to Gloucester Road so you're never too far from shops, restaurants, bars, bus services, cycle routes and TIER scooters and bicycles. Muller Road Recreation Ground and Purr Down are also a short walk away from the house and are great locations for walking Harley and getting some fresh air. Overall, a really enjoyable sit with a lovely doggie and moggie.
We had a great time at our stay with Hazel! She's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly, and we loved the opportunity to take her to the beach and Bayfront park, as well as cuddle up on the couch during a rainy day. Michelle and Matt were very kind and attentive hosts, and we felt very welcome in their home. The location is also amazing, walking distance to some great restaurants, grocery stores, and the dog park. We also got to visit Muir Woods (big beautiful coast redwoods!) and Muir beach, both very special places. I highly recommend sitting for Hazel if you get the opportunity, and we hope to be back in the future!
