Michael and Jeanne have been the first house/dog sitters that we have had and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Their communication was spot on during the whole process from their initial contact right up to the end of the stay. They are both very responsible house sitters and followed our instructions perfectly regarding Tig. It was Tig’s first time to have both of us be away so he was definitely more on the quiet side during the housesit. But it was clear from the pics and updates we received that he was getting the best care possible including twice daily walks and a play date with his friend Rio. In addition to all the attention Tig got our house was also left spotlessly clean and tidy. We would have no hesitation on recommending both Michael and Jeanne and hope to have them housesit again in the future.
I had a great time looking after Els beautiful clean apartment at Knsm island. Luna went travelling with Els so I only had to look after some plants mostly on the balcony. I did meet Luna when I met Els and Luna seemed a lovely and slightly shy cat. I can highly recommend sitting for Els!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Gigi and Layla were sweethearts and so much fun to have around. Eliot and Belinda made sure I was all set up for an easy sit. A great family in a sweet beach town—absolutely recommend these folks and extremely grateful for my time in Carlsbad!
This was such a great sit - I would recommend to anyone interested in exploring the Bay Area! Shauna was so kind and helpful to me (providing recs, working with my schedule, getting me ingredients in advance of my arrival, etc) and the house is so comforting, sunny, equipped (esp the kitchen - the dream). All three cats are easy and but for the occasional face-off between the kitten and the elders, they mostly hung around and slept in the sun :) They LOVED BEING BRUSHED and I wish I would have earlier in the sit, it totally opened them up to me. Truly an excellent cat/housesit all the way through <3 Also - this location is totally doable by foot (I took the bus, Muni, and BART) but a car is nice to have if it's an option (there is tons of parking around). That's all I got - go stay here!! - MC
Heidi of Hammersmith! What a honey and just so pretty. We spent most of our time oooing and ahhhing over her gorgeousness and laughing at her antics. She is a dearly loved, indoor kitty who lives in a clean and comfortable home in a very convenient location. Her hoomans, Laura and Ronald are equally as lovely and we all enjoyed excellent communications via Whatsapp both before and during the sit. They made us feel very welcome and we really appreciated their thoughtful Easter gift. Heidi loves her food (ready prepared), sleeping in her various hammocks and playing chase with you up and down the stairs. She's a very intelligent, young cat who, because she doesn't currently have access to the big, wide world, really benefits from lots of attention and companionship. This is a perfect sit for those who either work from home or who like to spend a good amount of time with the animal they are caring for. We really enjoyed meeting Laura, Ronald and of course Heidi. It was special to see her relaxing more and more with us as the weekend went by. Once again we go away with lovely memories and many more cute kitty pics to add to our ever growing collection! Thanks guys!
Mark and Beth’s home is a fantastic sit with the easy going and smiley dog named Willie. He is pretty low maintenance and great on the leash in the neighborhoods and off leash at the dog park. He has his routine down and is happy to lead the way if you need any help. The home is super comfortable with an amazing kitchen and stunning views. Highly recommend and we would be happy to come back anytime.
Our first meeting with Randi and Jose was so welcoming and relaxed, it set the sit experience off on a positive paw. It went to the next level after meeting and connecting with Churro. She is a very special puppy. Churro’s personality, intelligence, playfulness and loving demeanor was pure joy. Our daily walks, cuddle and play time made for enjoyable days and evenings. She made an excellent & compliant back seat passenger during car rides. Randi and Jose’s house is beautifully appointed and we loved the spa feeling in their outdoor living area. They also went out of their way to decorate their home indoors & outdoors so that we could enjoy a festive Christmas atmosphere while they were away. We found the whole family generous and genuine. They were great communicators and it was a pleasure to look after their precious Churro. We highly recommend this house sitting experience and would love to return.
