I had the most relaxing stay at Brooke's place with Desi and Lady! They both have such unique and wonderful personalities. Desi is a huge lover and absolutely adores being held. At one point, he looked at me and started meowing as if he wanted something... Before I knew it he did a trust jump straight into my arms. 🥹❤️ He wrapped his paws around me like a hug and started rubbing his face up against mine. I soon realized that this is one of his favorite things to do. Lady is equally adorable, but can be more selective about when she likes to be touched. We enjoyed relaxing next to each other by the fireplace and out in Brooke's backyard with the occasional pet/back scratch. :) As far as communication, Brooke was super easy to get in touch with and gave very clear instructions for their care. Not to mention the fact that her house is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The sauna out back was the cherry on top! Would definitely stay again.
Total tranquility, the house was very cosy but also cool in the heat. The animals, Buster the cat was a real comedy turn and sooooo affectionate, and the two magnificent horses were very easy guys to deal with despite being retired race horses. The problem with giving good reviews is everyone else will want to go...Want to keep it a secret!! Last but NOT least, Patricia was so lovely, easy going and trusting, real pleasure to meet, and hope to go again in not too distant future!! Loved every minute
We spent 5 days caring for the very charming Monty at his fabulous 300 year old stone house in Limpley Stoke and packed a lot of enjoyment into those days. It was grand — from dog walking through farmers’ fields and along canal paths to domestic life in a charming 3-storey historical building that has been fully updated for comfort. Kate, Jamie and sweet daughter Polly are another reason to crow about this sit — a lovely, warm family who welcomed us into their home and cooked (Kate!) a delicious vegetarian meal to share with us the evening before their departure. They left us with thorough instructions for care of Monty and the home, and were just a message away if we had questions. Not one complaint, unless it is to say that we would have loved to sit longer here! We highly recommend meeting this family and spending time caring for sweet Monty and his delightful home.
We had the most wonderful time in Rotterdam with Apple & Strudel and would absolutely recommend Joy’s listing to any other sitters (although hopefully we’ll beat you to it!) Joy’s communication was clear and transparent, which is everything you hope for as a sitter. It was brilliant to be able to meet her before she left for her trip, and we had consistent communication throughout. Apple is a very loving cat, and we absolutely loved snuggling with him in the evening. He is definitely a monkey when it comes to food, and he’s sneaky, so you have to be careful! But, it was easy to manage and not really a problem. Strudel is the dream, and will absolutely steal a piece of your heart. So quickly you will understand why Joy finds it hard to leave them! Strudel is relaxed, loving and simply gorgeous. Thank you so much Joy for welcoming us into your home. We hope to be back again! ❤️
I had a wonderful time hanging out with Joy in Amy's beautifully decorated and relaxing home! I enjoyed my time with Joy. Our walks were serene and she knew all the great views of the neighborhood! Her care was straight forward. She is very sweet and communicative of when she would like a snack or head/belly scratches. Amy was so kind and welcoming. I appreciated how she communicated with me to make sure I was comfortable. I enjoyed time in as well as out exploring the area. I would definitely recommend this sit and would return if invited!
It was an absolute pleasure to sit for the week for Millie, Phoebe & Kenzo, who were so adorable, loving, well behaved & fun to be around. Emma & Antony were fantastic hosts, providing us with lots of information regarding the local area & the dogs routine. Their home was beautiful, set within a quiet & tranquil setting with fantastic country walks on the doorstep. We certainly wouldn’t hesitate to help out again in the future!
