We had agreed to this pet sit months prior to their arrival. It was a 6 week stay. Jenny and Drew arrived less than 12 hours prior to my departure. I picked them up at the airport and took them to lunch at a seaside restaurant. I was so surprised that Jenny had not even read the "home owners manual" that this website provides. I sent the information a good month prior to their arrival. They were not prepared in my opinion or took the house sit very seriously. Nevertheless I had confidence in their abilities after spending time with them. When we arrived at the home I introduced them to my 2 doggies and got them acquainted with the home and area.. Upon my return (6 weeks later) there was missing food in the freezer, missing towels, and some broken items. The dogs seemed very happy and content and Jenny would let me know from time to time that the pets were fine. All in all they were good but I was disappointed in their lack of preparedness and the missing and broken items. I spoke to Jenny prior to writing this review in order to understand what took place while I was away. I was not completely satisfied with her replies. Most importantly my home and dogs were safe and sound. So I'm satisfied.

Victoria

Victoria was everything you would want in a house/pet sitter. She agreed to come early so we could meet her and her little chihuahua, Rocky. What a sweet doggie and not reactive at all with our little dog. She’s friendly and our communication was clear and easy. Our dog, Koda was happy to see us and it was apparent that he was happy and well taken care of. The house was spotless when we returned. We would highly recommend Vicky for both house and pet care!!

This was the second time Tesia took care of Crosby in our home. She was wonderful. I can’t imagine a more caring and responsible house and pet sitter. If you need a house/pet sitter, I can’t recommend Tesia enough.

Ruthie was fabulous! Flexible, communicative, and a lovely person. When I got back Milo was happy and the sheets were even in the washer! Great experience 🥰

Daniel was so great. He was very communicative and left our house clean and tidy. Even though his stay was short, it was clear that our dogs and cats warmed up quickly to him, and will miss him. He’s a great sitter and respected our home 😊.

We cannot say enough good things about Noelle! She is an amazing person and a super duper competent house & cat sitter. Our two boyz fell deeply in love with Noelle and are moping around the house now that we've returned, pining for Noelle! Noelle took perfect care of the boyz and our home. Her communication was terrific. We will definitely have Noelle back (sooner the better as far as our cats are concerned!). Thank you Noelle!

Everyone needs Brian in their life. Brian took the best care of Callie the cat and she can be a challenge in her twilight years! He loved her like she was his own. As well, Brian did the best tidy up ever, cleaning the bedding and towels before leaving and welcoming us home. He sent regular pictures and assured me that all was well while we were away enjoying a holiday with 'peace of mind' all thanks to Brian. You're a star Brian!!

Rebecca took good care of Jack. It was a short sit but she took pictures of Jack on their walks. The house was left clean and by the end Rebecca said Jack was following her around Thank you Rebecca

Pamela & Gary

Pam and Gary house and dog sat for us for 15 days, which gave us a fabulous holiday break. Right from the moment we Skyped each other I felt comfortable and then on meeting with them the day before we left any anxious feelings I had vanished. They are such lovely people and Winston (our dog) also related with them immediately. Whilst away Pam would keep in touch with how Winston was going - he is only 10 months old so a bit of a handful at times. However, Gary and Pam took great care of him. It was great to come home to a very tidy home, gardens watered and a very happy dog. Andrea & Dave

Pablo and Kate were just awesome sitters for our four pets. The dogs loved them from the minute they arrived and forgot we were around!  One of our dogs is recovering from radiation treatments and gastroentiritis so there was extra work involved but they handled it gracefully and kept us up to date on how things were going.  I think Thor is actually better behaved since we got home and I’m sure Pablo is responsible for the improvement.  I definitely would recommend Pablo and Kate as housesitters. They were really good with the pets and they took care of the plants and the house.  They were also willing to shop for extras when we had to change the diet for Lady. I felt totally at ease with them house and pet sitting for us. It was a great experience for us, thank you Pablo and Kate!

Cathy was wonderful! She braved the unusual freezing temps and Kimbra (my energetic black lab) had a wonderful time with her. Was very communicative and left the house spotless when she left. Would absolutely have her back to sit again if she’s available.
