He lived literally ONE mile away from me. This made it easy to meet in advance of the sit and go over details. During this process, he told me he would have to leave soon. This gave me the impression it was a lower priority for him. Being 1 mile away, however brought up some things I hadn't experienced with sitters from out of town. He wanted to know if it was ok to have friends over to my apt. My cat is very shy and timid around strangers and I told him no. He wanted to cook in my kitchen. It was left very messy. 3 cupboard doors left open, food stains on the stove, counter and fridge. Pots, pans and utensils, he used were not put away. For a person who lives one mile away, these are both things I would have thought could have just as easily been done in his own space. Why did he need to use mine and leave it in this condition? He didn't clean out the cat brush, not sure if this was to prove he had brushed my cat. He left the litter scoop IN the litter box. An amateur move, this would make many cats NOT use the litter box. In the past my cat has stopped using the litter box for similar reasons. She is older and relies on steps to climb onto furniture to sit with me or to sleep with me. Cats, creatures of habit, are upset with changes and one of her steps was moved. She's old, the equivalent of a 90 yr old grandma who depends on these things being there for her in the same place. Without telling me he locked the chain on my front door from inside the apt. So I was unable to enter my apt from the front door. After a long trip home, after getting to my front door I discovered, I had to use the back door. Had he just mentioned that in advance it would have been nice. I left my keys in a lockbox and the lockbox was not returned to inside the apt like I asked. The management company has asked us NOT to leave those out. My internet device was left plugged in, I had asked in person and in writing, it be unplugged when not in use. I had asked that bedding not be removed from my bed, I prefer to do that myself as the bed frame is susceptible to easily being damaged. The bedding was left in a pile on the floor with a damp towel at the bottom of that pile. Personally I was taught, if you use something belonging to someone else, including their personal space, to return it to the same or better condition you found it. In my opinion, this was not done for my space and my things. Petcare felt to me, as if it was less than the top priority and that Andy is not very experienced with pet care. Overall, I was unhappy with Andy's care of my pet and my space.

Sam
It was an absolute pleasure to look after Pippin. Sure is such lovely dog and she felt like part of our family so much so that my daughter sobbed her little heart out when we left. Sam’s place is so peaceful and welcoming and so close to beautiful parks -it really felt like being on a little holiday for us. We would love to look after Pippin again.

Caitlin & Dylan were very easy going and communicative. The dogs are amazing!!!! Miss maya is a huge cuddle bug and velcro dog. Lily is fun, spunky, playful, and also loves to cuddle! Dave Bird is hilarious and an easy cat. He did not scratch us at all. He loves to be pet but not the biggest fan of being held or cuddling. They're house is beautiful and the property is incredible!

Jenn and Kevin’s home is clean, cozy, and a lot of fun! The dogs are friendly, social, and always up for playtime in the backyard or snuggles in the living room. The pool is wonderful on hot days. The large screened in patio is great for relaxing and reading while hanging out with the dogs and cats. The bedroom is comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. It was a great mini staycation!

We had such a brilliant time at Aryan's place looking after the wonderful April and neighbourhood kitties!

Communication was super easy - Aryan showed us everything on facetime before we arrived and has a really useful and detailed house guide which has everything you need to know. She was easy to reach and able to answer our questions. There's lots of restaurant suggestions/things to do in the guide as well.
Looking after April was so lovely - she is one of the sweetest/loveliest little kitties and always up for a stroke. The neighbourhood kitties are easy to look after and are cute to watch. Josephine came for a stroke too.
Aryan and Tejas' house is really lovely - outdoors is great to sit and chill in. Inside has everything you need! They even left us a bottle of wine which was really nice of them. Plus they let you use their bikes and car! We didn't end up using the car but made a lot of use of their bikes as you can take them on the metro and tube so it was easy to get around. 100% recommend staying here 🌟

Serena
I really loved this sit!
Serena, Justin and their children were warm and welcoming, Serena especially from the very first point of contact. After our telephone conversation I already felt as If I knew the family and understood their requirements pretty well, and actually meeting them was just as easy and friendly as I had anticipated (and hoped 😊).
Zula is a gorgeous little pup and at 5 months old she is full of life and curiosity about everything. Like all puppies she is also a cuddle-bug, who loves to collapse against you as soon as she is tired. Zula got on very well with my three-year-old Labrador, Elsie, and they spent much time chasing each other around the huge garden and play fighting over toys. Zula is at the chewing stage and I had a bit of scare on a Sunday evening when she swallowed a piece of leather she had found. Luckily she “got rid of” it relatively smartly and recovered her equilibrium quickly. Thanks to the sensible THS vet-line for their support!
The house is absolutely beautiful and set in a lovely big garden. There is plenty to see in the area and, for lovers of Sunday lunch, the pub over the road does a fabulous one! One of the best things about this sit is the walks, as I could literally cross the road and then walk the dogs on an enormous common, that included all types of terrain: a pond a sandy area almost like a beach, a forest, and acres of open fields—dog-walk heaven!
I would return to this sit in a heartbeat, circumstances permitting.
