Lisa, first, I am very sorry for taking longer than I said to write this review (1 week and I went a little over...my apologies!), but it was very busy when I returned. Now for my review: I booked Lisa from my gut reaction to her first email and then subsequent ones. She did not have any reviews at the time, but after reading SO many profiles and holding out for that "one special one", I was glad I did hold out. Lisa is a hidden gem in zeewoi, because while experienced with animals, she was just starting out on here when she applied to keep my little Molly while I was away in Antarctica. Lisa was amazing. Her communication was timely and very thorough. It was evident that she and my dog bonded very fast. Due to COVID and the Antarctica cruise I was on, there were a lot of hurdles (covid testing) to pass to even get on the ship. This put a lot of uncertainty toward this trip on the front ends and back ends of it. However, Lisa strived to accommodate the uncertainties, if they came to pass. Luckily, it all went perfectly and we had the time of our lives. I could not have taken this trip without the assurance she gave me. There wasn't a lot of communication during our trip b/c, well...we were at the bottom of the Earth! However, when I returned, I did find detailed updates on Molly, along with some photos. Molly got so many walks and I do feel that Molly was even a bit sad after the newness of me coming back home wore off. It was as if she was still waiting to see if Lisa walked through the front door a few times. I am very thankful to have met Lisa, and if she has applied for your sit, give her a chance, even if she still doesn't have the most reviews like some profiles have after a few years. Everyone has to start somewhere, and I knew to trust my gut with her. Lisa, if you ever want to return to Nashville, just let me know and I'll try to be out of town again! ;) haha. I also talked to Mitch about getting a future THSitter for him, as well.....where both our dogs would stay together at HIS house. Believe me...you would LOVE his house on the lake. It's incredible! :) You'll be the first I contact for our next travels, if you think you ever want to return here....but who knows when that might be, given these stinkin' gas prices now, right? Well, all the best to you! Thank you for a wonderful sit. I hope you get all sits that you hope for in the future!

Adam did a great job watching over our dog and cat while we were away. They were very happy when we arrived home and the house was spotless as if no one was even there. We are looking forward to using Adam for another sit in the future!

We enjoyed the quiet, peaceful location looking out at the ocean view practically in the front yard. We were excited to see a pod of dolphins on our first day. The dogs were well behaved and had loveable, unique characters. They all loved their walks and Cristo expressed his eagerness for them. Bobby was bubbly and happy sleeping next to me on the couch with his legs in the air. Cristo on the other side with his head snuggling on my lap. Vegas was a plodder and liked my gentle walks too.
Diane & Greg's place was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed them sharing tomatoes and okra from their garden. Cape Lookout lighthouse and beaches were wonderful to visit.

This was such a great experience!
April is darling. She was always available and appreciative.
The home was super bright, pleasant, and provided a positive atmosphere to work, play, and relax in. Lots of beautiful decor in every room.
The location is perfect. I barely used my car, except for once when I went for dinner at a jazz club in Chicago which was only 45 min away.
The star of it all was the very photogenic Gracie. She’s so laid back and easy going. We played a lot. She loves being brushed so we did that at least twice a day. She’s good at hide & go seek. Sometimes I couldn’t find her. I miss her already.
Would definitely return to this sit. 😸😄

Michelle's studio is perfectly situated for exploring manhattan and taking care of her dog without feeling like you're running all the time. As well it is quite cozy and comfortable. I felt quite at home, watched a movie for the first time in a long time: she has many subscriptions to keep you entertained. Crouton is easy peasy straightforward dog, nothing complicated and loves the dog park nearby where you can read your morning articles/listen to podcasts while she has all the fun. Pretty low maintenance I thought. The whole thing felt like a little vacation.

Dellightful atypical London flat in the wonderful area of Green Lanes. Katzi the cat is an independent in-and-out kitty with lots of character. I had a great and easy time.

I had a fantastic time in Winchcombe. Elizabeth and her local friends and neighbours took care of me so well that I didn't want to leave :)
Elizabeth's house is super cosy and invites to chill at night in front of the fireplace with a book and some music.
I spent a bit more than 2 weeks here, and her lovely dogs are just a pleasure to have around. Bailey, the german shepherd is as gentle as they come and definitely appreciates big hugs. Storm is a little energetic fox-like dog that would curl and fall asleep next to me at any opportunity. And Tyrion, the shy of the bunch, took a couple of days to warm up to me, but eventually he did and showed how sweet he is.

When taking the dogs for a walk to the nearby orchard, they are completely independent and incredibly well behaved around other dogs.
Finally, if this was not enough, when you walk the dogs you'll get to meet other very friendly dog walkers and have the chance to walk around and pet 18 other happy dogs at the same time. I mean, need I say more? That was so much fun!

I hope I can come back in the future and see everyone again and definitely recommend this to everyone!

I had such a wonderful time with George and Taffy at this beautiful housesit in Corbridge! There are so many stunning walks right on the doorstep; George and I only scratched the surface. Nick and Jill were very communicative and supportive prior to and throughout the sit, providing me with everything I needed whilst they were away. George is super cuddly, loves exploring outdoors, is very well-behaved - apart from when he tries to steal Taffy's food ;) - and never strays too far on a walk. Taffy was an absolute delight and gave me plenty of cuddles. He also enjoys watching nature documentaries! As for the house, I particularly enjoyed playing the piano and soaking in the roll top bath. And there were lots of places to work from as well. I would love to come back and sit for the Peters family again!
