I had a very enjoyable house sit at Marianne’s home. Her cats, Raya and Bobby, are affectionate and well behaved characters. They provided great company for me! Marianne’s home is very thoughtfully and comfortably arranged. Everything is convenient and easy to keep tidy. The wonderful wooded areas with lakes and many long trails to explore are a 2 minute walk from her door. Marianne is very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend her house sit!
I had an amazing and a very special sit at Tracy's home caring for Dexter. As a life-long dog owner, I can certainly say: Dexter is really exceptional. I have never met such a friendly dog. He would always come to my room and even on my bed, he just wanted to be around me and I really enjoyed that. He is also very well trained and I was impressed with that as well. We spent a great time together and became good friends. Tracy is a great person - she is very nice and punctual, she provided full instructions and welcomed me in a great and clean apartment. I will miss them both and will be happy to meet them again! I would highly recommend them to any sitters considering them for a potential sit.
Although my sit was short, my experience was great. I didn’t meet Jennifer and her family ahead of time(although we did have a very nice FaceTime convo), but she provided all the necessary information before I arrived. Max was an absolute joy and is such a love bug! He’s incredibly sweet and lovable and followed me around everywhere. Their home was beautiful and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I also took advantage of the close beaches and was able to finish a couple of hours of work on the sand. I did get to meet Jennifer and her family on my way out and they were incredibly warm and kind. I would recommend this sit to others and would love to be chosen again if they need someone to take care of adorable Max
"A lovely experience" Even though we haven't met in person yet, we have felt very comfortable wit our communication with hosts Nicole & Sean. They were always available and we appreciated it! Their home is an oasis of peace, good energy and joy. We looked after sweet Duck. She needed her space and we made sure she got it. We were happy to share her home with her and play with her when she wanted. She loves her food and her walkies around her garden. We would love to return when our calendars match again! This housesit was a wonderful, rural experience which we recommend to others! Steve and Sharon have a beautiful, well-appointed, immaculate home in the woods of New Brunswick. We especially enjoyed their flip-of-a-switch fireplace on cool evenings! We found this home very comfortable & a great place to relax. We loved our feline host! Tyson was simple to care for & spent most of the day sleeping. He was apprehensive around us for a couple of days, but once he warmed-up to us, he became our shadow and a willing lap-warmer. When he's in the mood, he enjoys being brushed, a few minutes of playtime each day and massages (a.k.a. petting & ear-scratching). We miss our new-found buddy! Sharon & Steve were easy to work with and good communicators. They had a detailed 'Welcome Manual' and walked us through their routines firsthand as well. Weekly, we each spent time doing chores.... I, in deep cleaning the house, and Eric mowing the lawn. Daily cat-care was easy, and we felt free to take off on outings. We were looking to explore the area and found interesting walks within a 15-minute drive at the Irishtown Nature Park, Mapleton Park and Moncton Boardwalk where we viewed the unique Tidal Bore. If you're willing to drive an hour+, we found spectacular places to explore at Hopewell Rocks, Bay of Fundy National Park, Cape Enrage LIghthouse, Fundy Parkway Trail and Prince Edward Island.
