We had a great time with Lalaa, she is so good and well behaved, always in for a nice walk on the beach which is nearby or through The Hague with lots of good shops, coffebars, restaurants, vintage shops. The house is very spacious and bright. Good communcation with Sylvie who gave us a warm welcome. We did this housesit again with our miniature dachshund Nicky which we agreed upon with Sylvie. Both dogs had so much fun together and behaved like a pack so sweet to see😍🐾🍀
When we arrived Wendy and Andy made us feel right at home. They took us for a trip thrue the village and showed us the important shops, the vet, where to eat. They even invited us for lunch. Ronny and Dave are just the most adorable big dogs you can imagine. They loved being with us, sitting on our lap, giving kisses... Don't feel scared of taking care of a German shepard and a Rottweiler, on the inside they are like cute little puppies. Dave joined us in the pool and loves to swim, what a great experience to swim with a dog. They are well trained and listen very good to commands. We could even go for walks without the lead. The house has a nice location and has everything you need. It is fully equiped and clean. They have a beautiful swimming pool and even a seating area outside completely fenced with fly screens to protect against flies and musquitos. You can watch the beautiful sunsets from their garden. This is definitely a housesit we recommend and would love to return to.
Petsitting for Pesca in Amsterdam was a delightful experience. The house in a prime location provided a cozy setting, while Hannah, the host, was incredibly sweet and even made my birthday special. Pesca herself was a joy to be around, with her friendly and playful personality. Overall, it was a wonderful opportunity that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam and looking for a fulfilling petsitting experience.
It was an absolute pleasure to sit Polly in her gorgeous home. She has the most lovely placid temperament (interspersed with a little bit of cute crazy!). She absolutely loves human company and attention and was never far from my side (so sweet). Very easy to walk and good on her lead (when she’s not trying to bite it!) but equally loves running free and playing in the gorgeous big garden. After exercise Polly loves to chill, snooze and lounge around … and generally be ridiculously cute! Heather was great to deal with and we got an opportunity to organise a meet and greet the week prior which was great knowing in advance that Polly was receptive to the arrangement! Thank you for everything Heather - I really enjoyed sitting Polly and great it all went so smoothly. Future sitters are in for a treat - Polly is a dream to mind, and her home is beautiful and in a lovely part of the country:)
Gus is a beautiful white lab who loves attention and playing. He is such a super sweet puppy. The home is beautiful and Ted and Jana are fantastic hosts. They left a print out will all info you’d need…. The restaurant suggestions were spot on! Thanks so much for the opportunity to serve.
