Beverley
We enjoyed our two weeks in Beverley's lovely home. They were gracious hosts and had dinner and a glass of wine ready for us upon our arrival. Tux and Ziggy were very friendly after they got used to us being in "their" house, easy to care for and very sweet. Ziggy was a very vocal kitty and talked to us all time. Tux likes to perch up high and watch all that goes on around him. The home was on a golf course that my husband found very useful and the neighborhood was perfect for long morning walks. There was lots to explore in the surrounding area and we found several local restaurants and pubs that we made good use of. Would be happy to return in the event that their travels take them away from their beautiful home again.

MONICA
My time sitting for Monica, while she was traveling, looking after Makoto and Yumeko, was truly a breath of fresh air in the serene surroundings of Cajón del Maipo. From the moment I stepped into Monica's cozy retreat, I felt a sense of peace wash over me, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.

Monica & Ito's warm hospitality made me feel right at home from the start. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and even welcomed my mom for a visit towards the end of the sit—a gesture that truly made the experience feel super happy and comfy.

While Makoto and Yumeko are mainly outdoor pups, they each had their own endearing qualities that made the sit special. Yumeko's playful antics never failed to bring a smile to my face, while Makoto's gentle presence by the fireplace in the evenings created the perfect ambiance for relaxation.

The tranquil atmosphere of Monica's home, coupled with the gentle sounds of nature, made for an unforgettable experience. It was an honor to care for Makoto and Yumeko in such a serene environment.

Monica's kindness and generosity made the sit an absolute pleasure. I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared in the lives of her cherished pets, even if just for a short while.

Thank you, Monica & Ito, for your hospitality and for entrusting me with the care of Makoto and Yumeko. I would love to return for another memorable stay in the future.

Once again, thanks Monica & Ito. I am very happy I had the chance to meet you.

Lourdes
Lourdes' place may not be for everyone. There are many details to be aware of when it comes to taking care of such a remote, off the grid environment. In addition, active work is being done to complete a beautiful eco-resort. There are bugs, and it's definitely not for those who require social interaction. That being said, for those able to take in detailed instructions, this is an absolutely amazing place to sit. The pictures do not do it justice. I spent most afternoons in the "office," an over-water bungalow where one can watch hundreds of fish swimming below. Nearby, a sloth lives in one of the tallest trees on the property. The land and chickens provided me without enough food that I only left the property one time during my 2 1/2 week stay (other than to kayak through the reefs and mangroves).

The dogs are great. They love to play, and they love to just hang out on the deck. They obey commands, and will do anything you want if you have a bag of treats in your hand. Kitty is content with a quick check in at dinner time, and a few pets when she's in the mood. The chickens return to roost like clockwork, and are reliable egg producers.

I can't wait to return!

Luke
Luke and Terry were generous, cordial hosts. Their house is nice; the backyard, with its private pool and jacuzzi, is to die for!
Axel is a kitten with an abundance of playful energy. He entertained us nonstop. He turned on the charm with his loud purring. What a sweetheart!
We would be delighted to return.

Lorelei
Titan is a lovely cat who definitely lives up to his name! He is very playful, definitely likes attention and will follow you everywhere around the house. They first few days he was very vocal and then calmed down. Lorelei was very kind, communicative and accomodating. The location of the flat is great, lots of fun places in walking distance. The only thing that could be improved is some deeper cleaning as the floors were a bit sticky, mirrors dusty, and fridge and microwave hadn't been cleaned in a while.
