Update: after posting the review, I did receive an email from the company. I’m a former client who used to love this company but I’m not sure what happened between the last time we utilized their services and now. We had them stay with our beloved dog a few times as well as having them visit a few times a week for drop ins. Our dog was diagnosed with cancer so we decided we no longer needed services (he has since passed). When we adopted our current dog, I reached out three times to ask if they still serviced our area and did not receive a response.

Highly recommend! Going Mutts has always shown the best care to my dog when I need her walked. They are in constant communication regarding walks and will always give you an update and a cute picture afterwards!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Going Mutts is the only team I trust to come into my home and check on my pup. Skye loves her walks and even overnights with the staff. Not to mention Going Mutts has ALWAYS been available for me when needed.

They are amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of dropping my dog in her care multiple times and she’s great with him. My dog is very anxious and usually have a difficult time with sitters, but he loves her. Thank you so much Imane for taking great care of my baby.

I have two “shorkies” with high maintenance that required extra time and energy for them to be satisfied fully. Due to my busy work schedule; I struggled with finding the time to burn their energy and of course potty training them Was a huge problem. I Requested a try-out service from jogs with dogs & Luckily; I was assigned to the most sweetest, patient, reliable and well trained Personel. Her name is “Imane” and I will not see myself changing to another company. My dogs are now happier, potty trained and way relaxed when I come home from work. I highly recommend this company and it’s staff!!! They are trustworthy, dedicated and full of love. Their dedication is for training, caring and giving all their love to our pets.

Kat was amazing with Noah during his 3-day boarding. I was immediately comforted when talking to her the first time, hearing about her experience and ambition in transitioning to animal care full-time. Her place was clean, spacious, with a quaint outdoor patio. Noah has separation anxiety so I was very nervous and picky about where he would stay. He was wagging his tail and happy when we picked him up. A 5-star experience! Thanks Kat!

Kat took care of my dog as part of her doggie daycare service. She kindly both picked him up and brought him back to my home. While under her care they took several walks, and she shared pictures via a dog sitting app, which was awesome. When my pup returned, he was was happy and clearly had a great time. I definitely recommend Barks & Parks Pet Services based on my experience.

Our dogs love Kat and her boyfriend. One of our dogs gets excited anytime she gets in the car now, thinking she’s headed to daycare. 5 STARS!!! VERY Happy with this service! My dog Deanna is 10.5 yrs old and recently started having seizures (in March of 2022). We went on vacation in May and booked her with a local kennel (NOT this one). I couldn't confirm that they were or were not giving her her seizure meds, as when we returned & picked her up she had a seizure that night and several more a day afterward. Needless to say when it came time to go to Lancaster PA for a vacation in July which is 2.5 hrs from home, I was VERY worried on where I would leave her and what I would do if something should happen. THEN I found Barks & Parks Pet Services!! We drove out, dropped her off with Kat, and then went to our hotel which was 10 minutes away! Talk about convenience! Deanna had a WONDERFUL TIME there!!! She got along with the other dogs (which is not the norm!). When I first dropper her off the 1st day she seemed apprehensive which I expected. I did NOT expect to hear how well she was getting along with her new friends and how after a few days was fitting right in to her old routine! I wish I could leave her there ANY time we go away! This is a WONDERFUL alternative to a regular kennel. It is a regular house, where the dogs are in a more home-like environment as opposed to in a kennel. I highly recommend barks & parks!!

Kat’s service through Barks & Parks was exceptional!! Our little dog was walked and cared for so well, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. We received twice daily updates on how she was doing along with the cutest pictures. We were incredibly pleased with Barks and Parks and would definitely use this home-like dog boarding service again!!!.

Kat is so organized and her love of animals is apparent. We loved getting updates on our dog through the Walkies app, and Kat kept us in the loop throughout the boarding stay. Our pup was exhausted by the time she got home, so we knew she’d gotten plenty of attention during her stay!

She took amazing care of my dog bella. I love receiving all of the photos and videos. Bella is very energetic and difficult at times and she took care of her even better then if Bella was her own. Bella had 2 pup cups from Starbucks and had lots of playtime.

Kat is great with my two dogs. I feel very comfortable with her coming into my home, while we’re away, to walk them. She’s very communicative on everything that’s going on while she’s with the dogs, so it makes me feel so much better knowing they’re in good hands. Would definitely recommend her services to anyone.

I highly recommend Jessica, Matt, and their team for pet sitting and care. They are knowledgeable and can handle administering the insulin shots one of our cats requires. They were very thorough at the first meeting making it very easy to trust them with the house and our kitties!

Jess and her friendly and professional staff always exceed expectations! I have 100% trust in her business to take the absolute best care of my babies! My fur family is certainly a handful. I have a 12 year old, 10 lb little man who needs daily medications multiple times a day. His medicines require him to be put out frequently. He also has heart disease and anxiety. I have a 2 year old kitty cat with the zoomies who likes to try and sneak out. Jess with her supervisory veterinary experience and knowledge have proven to handle our crazy! She responds to all inquiries in a speedy and concise manner. Jess and her staff go above and beyond with their communication. I appreciate her updates and pictures while away. I cannot thank Jess and her family and business for their loving, kind and passionate approach. They are the best!

This was my first time using a pet sitter and it very much paid off! Jessica and Matt are warm and inviting and asked all the right questions for when they watched my cat. I came back and found my house clean and my cat happy as can be! Even when I had a question at 9PM, they picked up my call and assisted me. Not only that, they are the most reasonably priced pet sitters in the greater Lancaster area. A great company that I will definitely be using in the future!

What a caring team! One of our dogs is very skittish around strangers and cannot stay in a traditional kennel, but she is a champ when she is in Jess + Matt's care! YPOM is our dog’s second home! We have been with them since they started - and have always been pleased. Our pup is always happy to see Jess, Matt, and the kids, and seems to love being with them, which gives us super peace of mind while traveling. We highly recommend them - as they name says - in your place or theirs - you won’t be disappointed!

We really appreciate Jessica and Matt's caring approach to pet care. The first time Matt came to walk our scared little rescue dog, Rocky refused to leave his crate. Matt spent a lot of time (and treats) coaxing him and finally got him outside. Since then, Rocky loves Matt! We always know that our animals are in good hands with Your Place or Mine Pet Sitting!

We've been using YPOM for three years now, and are extremely happy with their services. Our two kitties always receive excellent care. It's nice having piece of mind when we are away, and it's nice to know that we can add extensions or changes with short notice.

Love these guys! They are very professional yet very attentive and kind to our animals. Administering medication to our cat was not an issue for them. On top of everything, they even checked our hot tub for us after a bad storm! Thank you-thank you for being awesome in every way!

I have Katya cat sit my 6 cats when we are away. She is exceptional with her care. She loves my cats & plays with them when she is here. I am very particular about my fur babies, they are my family so having someone I can trust with them is monumental. I love her like a Granddaughter. My experience with Katya has always been super positive. Whether i’m giving plenty of notice or in a pinch, she is always willing to help. I have two guinea pigs, so finding care for them is harder than I had originally anticipated. After meeting for a consolation (which was so kind of her to offer), I have had a phenomenal experience with her care. My guinea pigs always return happy and healthy (sometimes sad that they’re leaving her). I just appreciate how attentive Katya is to their needs!! Highly recommend!!

Katya and her team are fantastic! She’s accommodated me on EXTREMELY short notice more than once, a total godsend. Her rates are extremely reasonable for the amount of care she does. I love getting the pictures of my sweet girl when she’s on a walk or snuggling on the couch. I’ve used her for drop-ins, dog walking and overnight boarding. All have been fantastic experiences.

I hired this company and I was told the fee was $150 total but the babysitter who came and showed up to collect the remaining money said oh no ma’am it’s only $120 and I had 150 in the envelope, I rearranged my vacation to go away on August 27 to the 30th so that I could use the same babysitter Until I found out that the owner would not let up on collecting that extra $30 she was bent on communicating with me every day to get a $30 fee when I gave them 120 because of the babysitter saying oh no, you don’t need to give 150 I gave $120 She says I’ll just use the extra 30 for my Tip. I had arrangements to meet the babysitter to pay her on Saturday and this owner Katika was relentless on trying to collect that additional $30 from me. I already had it set up between the babysitter and I we were doing just fine until Katika got involved so if you wanna Cooperative Company who has their act together who communicates with their employees so they don’t try to charge their client more money than I would say go elsewhere because the owner of this company is not someone you wanna deal with. They are more interested in getting your money than they are and taking care of your dog

Katya took wonderful care of our black lab while we were gone for a long weekend at the beach! She sent updates with photos or videos with every visit which was very reassuring to know he was doing well. Would definitely recommend Katya to care for your pets and will have her come back again!

We have loved the customer service with PetSmart so far! Our dog loves day camp and his overnight stays. They always remember him by name when we come in and they are always willing to update us on how he’s doing at his stays. The staff is wonderful! I recommend them to anyone!

All I can say is Thank you!!! Had to make a reservation a few days before the 4th of July weekend after driving for over 16 hours from Florida to visit family. My sisters dogs were not having it with a strange dog in her house. The staff at Petsmart PetsHotel took great care of my Shadow. My kids and wife were sad so I stopped by for a visit with them after Shadow’s 2nd day and he was a happy pup. Staff was very friendly, from the phone receptionist, the front desk at hotel, to the people in back. They answered all our questions and were really reassuring us that Shadow was in good hands. Best decision in short notice and it was worth it. When we picked him up to head back to FL he was bathed and got a goodie bag of treats with a report card!!! Will definitely use this place again in my future visits to PA.

I send my pups to this location occasionally and have never had an issue. Even if I have last minute plans, they are always able to accommodate. I go to Banfield for my pet's health needs so transferring information was easy.

Our dog Loki was a stray rescue we had picked up about a year and a half ago. We work really hard with Loki about his insecurities with humans and other dogs. We were very anxious to have him stay in any kennel. But let's face it. Everyone needs a Vaca. After researching we picked pets hotel at petsmart. We booked a 4 day 3 night stay. We added half day doggy day camp, doggy ice cream and a private suite. We packed up his huge comfy blanket and all his toys. I pre portioned food so there would be no issues. Off we went. We did receive two pictures of Loki. This was awesome but also had us missing our pooch. We returned Monday morning. We did get there earlier than we had said. But they were fine with that and had Loki packed up very quickly. Loki came out and had a huge smile on his face. For a minute he didn't want anything to do with us. Then he realized. Barking kisses and rolling on the ground quickly insude. He seemed healthy and happy. The girl who rung us out let us know key points to his stay. For example, Loki wouldn't poop inside, go figure :) But what impressed us is she took him outside and walked him instead then! Wow, going above and beyond! Thank you petshotel and all the employees! We now can take vacations with no worries and honestly it was reasonably priced.

Loved it! They sent me a picture of my puppy while I was on vacation and he received a goodie bag when we picked him up. Everyone knew him when walking out the store, I felt like he was very well taken care of.

Moritzen Family Pet sitting took care of my 5 month old puppy like she was a member of their family. I was initially nervous because my pup was so young, but Laura abated all my fears with her daily pictures and in depth notes daily after her visit. I knew Rori was in great hands and was an to enjoy my time away without worrying. They are flexible to last minute changes, very reasonable and true pet lovers.

Wonderful experience with MFPS. My girls were well taken care of (along with flower and strawberry watering, mail and newspapers brought in). Eye drops given to one of my girls. Loved the twice a day updates. Communication prompt. When we got home and opened the door the girls facial expressions told us they were disappointed we were home. They were looking for their new best friend Tyler. I will definitely utilize their services again. Highly recommend. 💜

We left our elderly dog home for the first time last weekend with Laura from the Moritzen team and we can’t say enough positive things. She checked in with us along the way and was extremely thoughtful of Daisys health and safety. My mind was at ease completely within 5 minutes of her being at our house. Very professional from start to finish!!

After having a really terrible experience with a different pet sitter, we were extremely hesitant to trust someone with our three pups again. However, every single person that we’ve worked with or spoken to at MFPS has been exceptional to work with. They have clear communication and we really appreciated the follow up ensuring we were pleased with the service. We had a different sitter both times, but they both communicated thoroughly, sent pictures, and you could tell they loved up on our pups. We are thankful that we found them and now don’t have to stress that our boys won’t get amazing care while we are away. They walk our dog at least 4 times a week when we are at work, & each and every day we are still provided with a very detailed message on how he is, what they did and accompanied with all the best photos of our boy! April takes amazing care of our dog and has been SO flexible and communicative. She not only provides basic care but goes above and beyond by bringing her on fun outings, hikes, walks, and even has helped with some training needs we have. As someone who is gone a decent amount and always worried about getting the best care for our doggy, she’s a godsend.

I can't recommend April enough. April is dedicated, thoughtful, reliable, and a wonderful person who truly cares about the animals she takes care of. We have a deaf puppy, a diabetic cat, and a Great Dane who all require different handling issues. The one thing that you want with someone who takes care of your babies is reliability and trust and I never worry about our animals when she is taking care of them. One time, our puppy chewed his way out of the crate and April went over right away with a crate and saved our house from destruction. If that isn't amazing service, I don't know what is. If you need someone to take care of your babies worry free, please reach out to her. She is very responsive and always sends a message prior to watching as confirmation which I love. She is also a trainer and I highly recommend her classes if you need dog training!

We have 2 larger dogs who we had never left with a sitter before. April was wonderful! She was great with the dogs, stayed at our home with them so they were comfortable and she was so easy to work with. We will definitely look to have April watch our dogs again next time we go away or just need some help during the day if we cannot get home! It works perfectly for us and the dogs loved her!

Elizabeth is excellent. Whenever we are out of town, she stops by to look after our cats. She makes sure they have food, water, and get their meds. She even sends pictures of them to us, which is always appreciated! It’s nice to know that we have someone we can trust looking after our pets while we’re away. Recently moved to the area and only wanted the best care for my 2 cats while my wife and I are out of town - well, I'm convinced I found it! Communication was tremendous all the way from my initial inquiry to house visits to follow up after returning from our trip. From the time Elizabeth stepped foot in our house I knew we'd made the right choice. Bottom line is if you're like me and are really picky about who to place trust in to come into your home and care for your pets, then your search is done. Couldn't recommend enough.
