We really enjoyed sitting for Melanie & Frederik and highly recommend it if you get the chance! Arranging the sit was super smooth and we were glad everything worked out as house sitting during covid-19 can be tricky! :) We sat for Melanie & Frederik for roughly two weeks and had a really great time! The apartment itself had everything we needed (washing machine, desks, well-equipped kitchen, etc.). The apartment is on a residential street and super close to supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, etc. We explored the city mostly on foot and Helon also got to borrow Frederik's bike and enjoyed exploring the city this way as well. About Otis - Otis was a wonderful cat to look after! He was a little shy, in the beginning, and warmed up to us within a few hours! :) Otis is calm, loves his cuddles, and is really playful. He loved hanging out on the balcony and would sometimes curl up by Helon's feet when he was working. :) Otis also happens to love sitting like a human - so adorable!! :) Thank you so much for having us!
This was a dream sit. Annie and Aspen are wonderful company and the easiest pets to care for. Annie needs a few mile hike in the nearby national forest in the morning which was the highlight of our day. Greg and Linell left great instructions and were wonderful hosts. We’d love to housesit for them again anytime! Highly recommend.
Maureen made us feel right at home with Mila and her lovely house. She took us in, got us acquainted with Mila, the town and the routine, showing us around the house and taking us on the regular walk up the hill. Mila was very easy to care for and very relaxed in and out of the house, she loved the attention we gave her but was also happy for us to crack on with work which was greatly appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only wish was that we could've stayed longer!
We had a lovely time with Liz and Mark's fur family. We absolutely adored Ted, who was a perfect cuddle partner. Chilli and Colin are beautiful cats. Colin is shy, but Chilli was our best friend. Liz and Mark are lovely people, they made us feel very welcome and were very kind to us, picking us up and dropping us off at the train/bus stations. They even went out of their way to mail us back something we left there. We had a lovely time getting computer work done and cuddling with the fur babies in a beautiful home :) Thank you both so much!!
Daisy and Hunter were extremely accommodating and easy to work with! They were responsive and flexible when I had questions for them. Lovely couple :) The home was located in an incredible area, right on the park with lots of things to do in walking distance. It was also quiet for sleeping at night and great for working and cooking in. Ringo is a very friendly and loving dog. He is quite high energy and requires lots of love and attention. This sitting job isn’t for people who want a simple stay with no responsibilities. Ringo is an early riser and you’ll have to adjust to fit his schedule, not the other way around! If you prioritize dogs this is an amazing place to stay!!
Amazing experience. Nicole is really friendly and easy to communicate pet owner. And her dog Bailey is the sweetest little girl who likes to play and pretty easy to take care of. The apartment is really cozy and in a great location of Manhattan. Wishing the best to Nicole and Bailey and hope to meet again in the future!
