Judith was most welcoming and her home is very comfortable and sparkling clean with a small communal park right outside the front door. Corbridge is a great town w/a nice selection of pubs, cafes and a local Co-Op store nearby with easy access to local historical sights. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Murphy, he is just the sweetest little guy and given the opportunity he will happily sleep next to you for extra cuddle time. The fish and the aquarium were very cool and easily managed. The river walks are gorgeous and just ambling around town was a joy, everyone seemed to know Murphy and he was a great opportunity to meet a few locals who were all very friendly. Kelli and Tony are warm, friendly people with a gorgeous house and super sweet, easy pets. Pippa and I enjoyed walks and lots of ball playing in the spacious yard (she absolutely adores it!). Aggie joined us in hanging out when the weather was nice. She also loved getting her long hair combed. Kelli was very responsive and left clear instructions that were easy to follow. Plus it was fun exploring the cute towns of Erie, Lafayette and Louisville. I enjoyed everything about this sit! Highly recommend!

Sitting Margo was a delight. She is such a lovable and uncomplicated cat, which made the sit easy and enjoyable. Jen gave us a very warm welcome and we spent wonderful days in her house, feeling comfortable and safe. We would have liked to spend more days as there is so much to explore. It would be a pleasure to return one day.
We really enjoyed our sit at Wanstead, with Lola the semi retired Welsh Terrier. Despite being a little older, Lola still kept us on our toes with wanting to play 'football' and some crazy sort of game where we have a tug of war with a toy bear (that she always wins!). A very comfortable home in a very interesting part of London, resplendent with large parks, verdant forests and innumerable trails. Hugo and Holly were very good communicators and answered any of our queries promptly . We felt very comfortable, and were quite happy and content to spend our time with Lola in the immediate vicinity. There are tennis courts across the road and we looked at them..... but bravely resisted the temptation to indulge ! Highly recommended sit. Thanks to you both.
Ella was excellent host. She and her husband came to pick us up from station and dropped us off again when we were leaving, which was a bonus. Their house was nice and had all the comforts you would expect for pleasant stay. We were given a quick tour upon arrival so we will know where everything we might need is. They even got us some treats. Dog was really lovely and mostly well behaved. A bit eager and vocal when going out for a walk, but calms down after getting excess energy out. She will show you clearly when she wants to play or requires attention. Other than that she will lie calmly either close to you or in sunny conservatory soaking up the rays of sunshine. Fish didn't make any noise, they were happily swimming around their fish tank and munching on the flakes when fed. Would happily stay again if invited.

My dog has been going to these kennels for about 9 years. She loves it. The staff and super friendly and accommodating. The kennels aren't even local to me but I still choose to take her to Park Lane.
Wulfen was respected and well cared for during his week long stay. He was back to himself as soon as we got him home which is always a good sign. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely entrust our boy to them again :-)
Well, Tico seemed to have a blast here for 6 days! He ate all the food I sent with him, and his treats. He was very happy mixing with most dogs, so hopefully this will help him to clam down on walks 🙈🤣 as expected, he lost 1lb, because frets for first day, so doesn't eat well. But he was very happy to be there, and also to leave.
From the moment I first called park lane Carl went out of his way to do everything he could to help me. When I picked my boy up he told me himself he had been looked after well. And I saw for myself it was In a clean and warm kennel. He showed no signs of stress, had lost no weight and the staff honoured all of his personal care needs. Used Park lane kennels twice now for my pug, he is well looked after when here. They are professional, caring and loving with all the dogs, I wouldn’t trust anyone else other than Park Lane with Stan now. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Wuff wuff doggy day care provides an excellent, secure environment for doggy socialising. Winnie, our cocker, clearly enjoys attending by the way l get dragged to the house observing his tail wagging in excitement. Alison provides daily photos ensuring that l can share in Winnies antics with his canine friends. Would l recommend? 100%
Bruno has been going to wuff wuff for over two years now and loves it. He pulls me down the drive to be greeted by Allison who has all the dogs in her care under control. Always come from there tired after lots of playtime, and then get photos at the end of the day to see what mischievous activities Bruno got up to. We couldn’t be happier with the service that Allison provides at Wuff Wuff Doggy Daycare! My dog always comes home so content after a day of enrichment activities and playing with his friends. My family live in the same street as the dog day care house. The dogs are outside pretty much all day 8-5 which is fine, dogs are dogs. But they continually bark and bark and bark for the 9 hours Without a single telling off. Nice to know your dogs are being well catered too and spoken to. If you want your dog to have a sore throat when they get home this is the place to go. Wrexham council are on the case so good luck finding an alternative day care
We have nothing but good things to say about allison and wuff wuff doggy day care. Alfie’s tail doesn’t stop wagging! He plays his heart out in a safe environment and comes back a happy (if rather sleepy!) dog

I was so worried about leaving my african grey, especially as I have never left him longer than a couple of days before. They are such sensitive birds. I was put completely at ease from the beginning, I had daily updates which was so nice as I missed him so much and it was so nice to know he had settled okay. Maxine looked after our FIV+ cat with visits twice a day. The process was incredibly clear from start to end and she was very professional and helpful in reassuring us. Our cat took an immediate liking to her. We got a daily updates with highly entertaining pictures and she was willing to water our plants and put the bins out. Maxine is amazing with house visits and hone boarding. My dogs go to her house and love their time there. They sulk when they come home. Maxine visits my house and looks after my other pets while I’m away. It’s complete peace of mind. Ten out of ten! Book early as Maxine books up very quickly

Sven and Lyndsey did a fantastic job of looking after my elderly cat, Rueben. When we got home I could tell straight away that he had been well cared for, he was very happy and relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble for them, giving my cat his medications, giving him lots of fuss and letting him play outdoors for a bit as well as watering our garden every day! Communication was brilliant, highly recommend!
Amazing service-and genuine care. Lindsay and Sven made us feel so comfortable going away. It’s not easy to leave them-but having met with several services, they bowled us over. When they look after them, I think our cats get more love when they look after us than us!!! Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
Lindsay and Sven really love animals of all descriptions. They have looked after my Shih Tzu on a number of occasions and have even taken him away with the for a weekend. They have taught him how to negotiate steps which was always a problem for me. I have no hesitation in recommending their services especially when they can look after other small animals at the same time (carrying sugar gliders in a waist pouch). How good is that!
Sven and Lindsay have just finished their second stint of looking after our dogs at our house. They are outstanding. The kindness and thoughtfulness is always greatly appreciated. The peace of mind knowing your pets are safe and happy is priceless.
I feel so lucky that we have found such a good service locally to us. Lindsay and Sven did a wonderful job of caring for our axolotls whilst we went away. Really disappointed with Rachel’s comms. Also wanted 50% of the booking four months in advance “£200” and the balance paying before your we started our dogs boarding. We would have payed however 1wk after our meet and greet with Rachel she decided to give our dates (agreed) to another boarder without the courtesy of enquiring weather or not we would like continue with our booking. This in my opinion is poor business practice.
It gives me no pleasure to write this review as we've used this service quite a few times before but have recently been let down very badly. Coming out of lockdown we had 4 bookings to cover weddings, big birthdays and a holiday. Not long before the first booking we discovered by chance that our dog would be left for 2 hours in a cage in the van in a car park several days a week whilst the business owner was running training classes nearby. We were really concerned about this as it doesn't seem right. We wouldn't ever leave our dog in a cage in a vehicle. When we politely queried this, and asked if our dog could at least be outside, the business owner was very defensive and unilaterally cancelled all of our bookings. We feel we had legitimate concerns about our dog's welfare but the business owner's response was basically well, that's the way it is. This unilateral cancellation has caused, and is continuing to cause, us so much stress and worry trying to find an alternative. At such short notice we had to take our dog with us on a 10-hour car journey (which she hates) to a wedding and leave her at an unknown day boarders there. We literally missed half the wedding running her to and fro. Only this week has our much-postponed holiday been saved through the good fortune of a family member being able to take our dog. Even then we've had to change the departure airport, incur a 4.5 hour journey each way with the dog and lose 3 days of our holiday. We also lost one of our weekends completely because we couldn't find another boarder at such short notice. After the cancellation we explained our difficulties to the business owner but she wasn't interested. With the recent explosion of people getting a dog in lockdown, it seems that dog boarders are like gold dust. The business owner knew this when she cancelled our bookings and would have known that we'd be unable to find an alternative. This is not the way to run a business and it is not the way to 'look after' your boarders.
You want to leave your dog knowing that it's in the safest of hands, will love the environment and be looked after so that it doesn't want to leave when you pick it up... that's how me and my dog feel with Rachael & Christian. I leave my dog knowing he will spend the day playing, learning and socialising he loves going to Doggie Day Care and even more so Doggie Boarding when he gets to do sleepovers with his "friends". Rachael is also on hand for advice, training and any kind of doggie issues. Both Rachael and Christian are amazing with the dogs... I wouldn't let my dog go anywhere else.
Rachael runs first class boarding and day care services. She has a wealth of knowledge and understanding about dogs which is both reassuring and admirable. I would highly recommend her services.

This is the first time our elderly cat has stayed in a Cattery. Helen was excellent very good communication. The Cattery was clean in a lovely (remote) location and Helen was very welcoming. Very happy with HMC Petcare and would certainly use them again. Good value for money too.
I always send my cat to HMC pet care when I am away. They are absolutely lovely and the facilities for each cat are wonderful. They treat my Mr Smokey as if he is one of his own and he always comes back to us calm and happy. It’s a real weight off our mind to put him somewhere he is happy and cared for. The team are flexible if we need to extend and very communicative. Can’t rate them highly enough.
Wonderful cattery! I was very nervous about finding the right place for my shy cat during her first few stays in a cattery. Helen is absolutely wonderful and really took the time to make my little fur baby feel comfortable and confident! Helen sends regular updates and it's been a huge relief to see how well she settled in, I know she is in good hands and well looked after when staying here!
We have just collected Lucky and Toby after a nine night stay at the cattery, they have come back happy and well cared for, both our cats are very anxious and the owner knew this but with the excellent care they received they soon felt like they were at home. This cattery and kennels was recommended to us by a family friend and we are so glad we picked HMC petcare and we will be using these for any future holidays we have. Thank you taking such good care of our fur babies.

Can't thank Helen enough for all of her help and care this week when I accidentally let my cat out of of her basket outside HMC cattery. We took our two dogs for a visit today to see how they would settle as a taster day before our holidays . They were very happy with Helen and the other dogs. Helen sent us a video of the dogs playing in the garden which was great reassurance. We were very impressed, Helen is great, and the home from home dog boarding experience was totally different to any kennels we've every experienced. We would highly recommend HMC Pet Care and look forward to leaving the dogs again when we go on our holidays. Thank you Helen.
We were very anxious about leaving our little cat Mouse as we've only had her 4 months but she was so chilled when we collected her,we took her home and she settled straight back in.She ate well once she'd settled in cattery, she had a lovely cabin,everywhere was clean,Mouse had all her own toys,blankets and beds.Highly recommend,Mouse will definitely be staying again
I have used HMC twice now & wouldn’t take my cats anywhere else. Even after a month away both of my girls came home settled. One is quite old & set in her ways (& a little nasty) but HMC take it in their stride. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Not entirely sure why the person below says to 'avoid this company' without saying why!!!!! Carrie is nothing short of FABULOUS. She has cared for our dog on a daily basis, picking up and dropping off on time always with a smile. Our dog is happy, content, well cared for and Carrie clearly adores all the dogs. Amazing day care facility for dogs. Communication is really good, care of the dogs is spot on and the facility itself is well thought out and stimulating for the dogs. My dog came back every week freshly cleaned and completely exhausted- I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
OMG what can I say! I absolutely LOVE this place! Carrie is so amazing with the dogs and I can see that they have an absolutely awesome time when they're there. We have 1 dalmatian who i wanted to socialise with other dogs and have someone i trust 100% to look after her. We came and met Carrie and Rolo and we knew this was perfect. Large safe and secure areas to run around. Converted stables to chill.outnin in the summer.or.with heatlamps and cosy blankets in the winter. This is ideal for me when I'm.working and then fact that Carrie.collects her and drops.off is perfect for us. The excitement Rolo shows on the day that doorbell rings is so funny shes so excited to go. I would have my precious girl.anywhere else.
I personally would avoid this company and find another dog walker if you can. Our dog is a rescue who was attacked by another dog in the past and therefore can be very protective and therefore funny with other dogs. Country Hounds walked her for nearly 2 years, however one recent Friday afternoon decided they could no longer walk her as she only gets on with certain other dogs and therefore couldn’t schedule her in anymore. This wouldn’t be a problem, however as a business the way they dealt with this was appalling. 1. After 2yrs of loyal custom and never being late on a payment, they didn’t even have common decency to call and discuss this on the phone. It was done via WhatsApp. Completely out the blue. 2. They never gave us the chance to find someone else and left us totally in the lurch. There was not even talk about offering to give us a week or so to find someone else. It was just a ‘see you later thanks for your business’ text. They told us at 4pm on a Friday. I find it hard to believe they hadn’t been thinking about it for some time. A ‘business’ should not be run like this. I would avoid this company at all costs. Their customer service is terrible and loyalty is clearly not a 2-way street. We’ve used various dog walkers for 7yrs+ and have never had a problem with any. Country Hounds are the worst we’ve used. Be warned, you will be dropped when it doesn’t suit them anymore, they definitely don’t care about their customers. Avoid it you can!
Fantastic Business
We've taken our 2 fluffy balls to Warren Wood twice now and they've been so well looked after! We get regular pictures so we can see how they're doing which keeps my mind at ease! The staff are all lovely, the place is clean, and the cats have both inside and outside space with heaters in the winter. Highly recommended.
We take our two dogs to Warren Wood and highly recommend! The staff are so friendly and the dogs love them! I always know they are in safe hands! We recieve photo updates too which is great, and you can see how much they are enjoying themselves!
Just collected a very happy Staffy. We don’t use kennels often as my boy gets very anxious but sometimes we have no choice. Warren Wood is a lovely place, great staff and my boy was happy and content. It was clear they took great care of him and will now become our regular go to. Thank you!
Our dog recently spent two weeks at Warren Wood Kennels on holiday as we went on ours, and we came back to a happy and content dog. Emily, Leah and Amelia sent updates (photos and videos) on Ella while we were away and it made such a difference to us - it was so lovely to see how happy Ella was playing in the pen and out on her walks. We are so happy to have found the perfect Kennels and appreciate the wonderful care Ella received. We will be back!
I recently had to leave my dog, at the kennels while I was away for a few days, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I dropped him off, I was really impressed with the care and attention he received. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and immediately put both my dog and me at ease. They took the time to ask about his routine, preferences, and any special needs he might have, which made me feel confident that he would be well taken care of. Throughout his stay, I appreciated the regular communication. I sent a few messages to check in, and each time, I received prompt replies. The staff shared updates and even sent a couple of adorable photos of him playing. Seeing him happy and engaged brought me such comfort while I was away. What truly stood out was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. They clearly love what they do and genuinely care about the animals in their care. When I picked him up, he was wagging his tail and looked so content. It was clear he had a great time!
Warren wood Kennels are just amazing. For long period stays we put our two frenchies here and we won’t use anywhere else. They dogs come home happy and healthy. I would really recommend this kennel to anyone that is looking for a safe place to keep your dogs.

We are so pleased we found this kennels for our dog . She is always happy to walk into her kennel and doesn’t look back when my husband leaves her. The photos they send are so reassuring and make your holiday so more enjoyable knowing our Maya is happy there. The proof is in the photos, her tail is always up and wagging, we know if she is unhappy or apprehensive it would be down and between her legs. Well I was really nervous leaving my 3 dogs in kennels for the first time but this place is wonderful. After a walk around this reassured us straight away, the kennels are clean and very spacious, they dont look at other kennels but open fields. The staff are amazing with communication throughout and photos . When picking the dogs up , they were happy and clean and you can tell they were cared for very well. Will definitely use them again . Warrenwood is absolutely brilliant and would highly recommend. We have been using for our dog Bry over the past few years and he is always so well looked after each time he goes back he is pulling to go in! The team are very kind and reassuring and share photos and he always comes home happy and well looked after which makes leaving him easier although we always miss him lots!
My boys have been going to the Dogilodge for years. They settle quickly as it's a home from home. Lynne sends up dates while I'm away and it's lovely to know they are happy. Would highly recommend
Firstly id like to send a big thank you to lynne and mark. I left my dog sky with them while on holiday and sky was in the best care. She has never been with anyone else always with me but she has come on leaps and bounds since her stay at dogilodge. Due to an accident on holiday which left me needing operation dogilodge help me out with skys well being.to which im eternally gratefull. I highly recconmend dogilodge for ur special dog they treat them as there own with genuine love and affection. Many thanks Dogilodge x
What a fantastic place this is. We have left our dog here on numerous occasions and he has come back in fantastic condition. This time he was very poorly beforehand and on lots of medication and diet restrictions but we've collected him today and he is in fantastic health thanks to lynne and mark. I would not leave billy with anyone else. As well as brilliant care the dogs have a whale of a time enjoying loads of different activities!! Thanks both....xxxxx
We use Dogi Lodge to take care of our babies when we can't take them away with us. It's like putting them in a 5star hotel, they're spoilt rotten and looked after so well. I swear my dogs want us to book holidays just so they can go to Lynne's.
Fabulous host. Would not leave our fur babes with anyone else. Lynne is an absolute diamond, our Shih Tzu and Lhasa are so at home when they are there.
Easily the best place my dog has ever been. The people are so welcoming. My dog never wants to leave, she always has such a good time.

#Catsitter Karen is fab. My cat is anxious and HATES me going away--which makes me anxious. Karen texted letting me know Lala was fine and eating, including sending pics, so I could relax. Thank you. Worth every penny!
