We loved our time in Kat's beautiful apartment with Freya. The location is unbeatable for San Francisco and her home is lovely and extremely comfortable. Communication was excellent and clear and Kat was a very thoughtful and kind host. Freya is a bit shy, but warmed up nicely after she became accustomed to having us in her space. She is a sweetie! WOW !!! It's a shame that I can only rate a maximum of five stars when clearly the hosts Amanda and Chris, the amazing property Hidden House, ( Google Hidden House Stari Grad ) the beautiful location of Stari Grad and finally the absolutely adorable pets of Sadie and Flossy ( the dogs) Martin and Alfie ( the cats) are all deserving, without exception, a star rating that exceeds five stars. Having had over 38 pits in the last 20 months around the world, the memories of my Stari Grad petsit at Hidden House, will without doubt will last with me forever. Flossy and Sadie are very obedient dogs despite Sadie passion for sniffing everything, but hey Sadie is an adorable Beagle after all, doing her breed proud, her 4 passions in life are food, walkn'sniff, sleeping and cuddles n' snuggles, in that order. In the 18 days I have been pet sitting the dogs have barked only a handful of times. When out on walks if I stop they will to if I sit to embrace the mind blowing scenery and sirenity, they will also for as long as I do. Alfie and Martin ( the cats ) Martin being more boysterous of the 2 ( not by much lol ) are very much into hugs and cuddles sitting sleeping in my arms, often choosing the place to sit is on my laptop keyboard if I am using it placed on my lap ( let's face it who gave the keyboard permission to be on my lap that's their our spot. ) The cats will also visit you in the early hours of the morning on your pillow making sure your ok and hope in return for checking on your well being, it's treat time. Often I have had one or both of the cats sleeping on my arm, leg, shoulder through out the night. Ohh and finally the location of Stari Grad, it's the oldest town in Croatia ( that in of itself should tell you something), so if you appreciate history and architecture, instead of the view "so what it's just another 300+ yr old building", and you love natural geographic beauty then you will not only love the pet sit but also the location. Do yourself a favour if the above aligns with what you imagine to be an idealic petsit experience then do not hesitate in applying, because if you hestitate, the opportunity with memories you would otherwise leave with for ever, will be lost, for someone else to enjoy.
We had a great stay at Roger’s home! The house is beautiful and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect to explore the wider DC area and we loved walking around the local neighbourhood. Communication was easy and friendly. Sacha was a joy to spend time with. He is a very affectionate and loving cat and easy to look after. We were sad to leave both Sacha and the area and would happily house sit again for Roger.

The lovely ladies were amazing with Henry, our Lhasa Apso who has real issues with being groomed. I'm so pleased Short Bark & Sides had been recommended to us and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who will take really good care of your fur babies :)
