Jay and Andrea were a wonderful couple to work with. They were super sweet and left thorough instructions for the care of their Skipper and home. And they were easy to reach when I had questions. Their home was a warm, cozy delight to stay in and Skipper was the sweetest cat! I'm gonna miss him! I would definitely sit for this sweet family again.
Sitting for Vania was very relaxing, it is a calm neighborhood surrounded by nature. Catman is a very loving cat and likes to be pet and will lay down with you to watch movies. You will enjoy your stay here very much!
Denise is always available to answer any questions and even prepare some food for me. Her house has everything you could possibly need and is located in a nice area. Dante, her adorable and laid-back cat, is just a joy to be around. He’s very independent and low maintenance, loves spending time in the garden, sticks close by when he's in the house, and snuggles up on the bed. House sitting for Meghan and helping nurture her furry extended family members was such a special treat! Seriously, her pups Snow and Marlowe were so sweet, and even though Marlowe required a little bit of extra care, I was surprised how easy going all the pets were together (in addition to the two sweet dogs, Meghan has a couple of cats - Geraldine and Quinoa). With the exception of Quinoa - a newer addition to the family, who mostly kept to himself, quietly and contently - everyone had such a playful energy, but also a calm groundedness when it came time for an afternoon snooze / cuddle session :) I'd absolutely sit for Meghan again, and hope to return soon!
This was our first Housesitting experience and we had a great week in Edinburgh looking after Bruce and Rita. The communication with Fiona and her Friends/ Sister have been without problems and very easy. Fiona prepared a friendly letter for us with the routine of the pets and tips for the area. They always tried to help us with any questions even they have been on holidays. We directly fell in Love with the Dog Bruce who is such a adorable Dog, who took us everywhere to show us the area. He was really calm in the bus, train or car and made us feel comfortable. He is addicted of balls and took them everywhere and we had fantastic plays in many parks. Rita the cat seemed to really like us as well and came every evening to join us on the sofa to get some cuddles. We can highly recommend this housesit and are very grateful to met both of the animals and such nice people.
Staying at Ben and Kristine's place was great! The flat was huge and well set up, the neighbourhood had lots of great cafes and easy access to town, but most importantly Stinky was so much fun. Most of the time she just moved from room to room napping near me, but we also had some fun playing with toys and treats and I even got some morning snuggles! Kristine gave me the walk through and showed me what was what before they left, which is always nice. The communication both before and during the sit was great. All in all I would recommend Ben and Kristine's sit! And hope to maybe come and stay with Stinky again!
