Dog Sitters in Rottingdean

Samantha was very adaptable to fit in with my away plans and did a great job keeping my cats contented and fed. She sent me a number of updates and pics while I was away. I came home to find everything tidy and would certainly invite Samantha to house and pet sit again.

Finding a trustworthy pet sitter can be a daunting task, especially for a nervous pet parent like me. However, my recent experience with Mark has reassured me that there are great caregivers out there. From the moment Mark arrived on time for our scheduled sit, I could tell he was prepared. Although his regular companion Suzy did not join him, Mark's demeanor was calm and confident, and I felt at ease leaving my pets in his care. We had sufficient time for a smooth handover, during which I introduced him to my two pets, Cara and Mia. Mark was not only attentive but also open to learning about the local amenities nearby. I made sure to pass along special instructions for Cara, who was on antibiotics. Additionally, I mentioned that Cara had separation anxiety, but Mark assured me that he was ready to handle it. I was relieved to see that it didn't take long for Cara to warm up to him; she started shadowing him almost immediately! While Cara was adjusting to Mark's presence, Mia ended up being sick twice. However, Mark took this in stride. He handled the situation promptly cleaning up and taking care of the dirty linen without any fuss. As a nervous mum, I appreciated Mark's excellent communication skills. He was attentive to my concerns and didn't mind providing daily updates, which meant the world to me while I was away. Knowing that my pets were happy and well-cared for allowed me to enjoy my time outside of the home. When I returned, I pleased to find that my house was just as I had left it - clean and tidy. Both Cara and Mia were happy. In conclusion, my experience with Mark was nothing short of excellent. He proved to be reliable, adaptable, and communicative, making the entire process stress-free for me. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a dedicated pet sitter who genuinely cares for animals. It's comforting to know that there's someone like him out there, ready to step in and provide the care our beloved pets need.

Trudy and her daughter Poppy are a delight! They looked after Fleur & Lily for a few days last week and I was so comfortable and reassured about leaving the girls in their care. Great community throughout, tidy and organised and both cats were super relaxed on my return. Would be very happy to have them return anytime 🤩🤩

The lovely Rosie is truly a cat whisperer! Elton fell in love with her immediately and was very sad to see her go. She looked after him magnificently, and made him feel happy and relaxed. She also coped with every eventuality calmly- including a slug hunt and a bird kill! For a final gold star, she left our house immaculately clean and tidy. Can't recommend her too highly:-)

Lucy was lovely and great with communication; she sent daily pictures of the dogs out on their walks. Sadly, I didn’t meet her two boys but I heard they had a great time down by the beach. The dogs seemed very happy and well looked after on my return.

John and Imogen are both delightful and genuine people. I felt totally at ease leaving them in charge of the animals and the house. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to house sit and would love to have them back in the future. Excellent communication from the start and very happy pets to come back to. Once again, Esmé did such a wonderful job of looking after our home and precious boys. They were happy and content when we arrived home, and the house was absolutely immaculate! I can not recommend her enough, she really is a superb sitter.

Karen was so wonderful with our two birmans Sashi and Ziggy. She adapted very quickly to their routines (and they to hers) and they became good friends. Karen easily met all of their snuggle and brushing needs. We were so grateful for all the wonder photos and videos that Karen sent us. We came back to very clean and tidy house, and two very happy kitties. If you need a house/pet sitter, don't hesitate to ask Karen!

Noah was great, very conscientious, reliable and took great care of our two dogs. He regularly kept in touch whilst we were away and even visited us before we went away to get acquainted with our dogs, the house and area. Many thanks Noah

Maddy and Martin house sat for us for a week whilst we were in the Scilly Isles. The dogs were really happy and not that pleased to see us when we returned as they’d obviously had a lovely time. The whippet had an upset tummy at night and they coped admirably. The house was immaculately clean and tidy when we returned. They were really easy to communicate with. I felt happy they were coming from the moment we spoke. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and have them to sit again.

Hilary and Sarah are fantastic house and pet sitters and just lovely people that we feel fortunate to have met. From the outset our communication was excellent. We were lucky enough to be able to spend some time with them before leaving and it was a pleasure to get to know them a little. They easily and quickly took on board the routine for the animals and house and we left feeling completely assured. They looked after the house, garden and our bunch with such care and we know that everyone of them had equal time and love given to them. The house was spotless when we returned and they even left us some lovely food. We would have no hesitation in recommending them for any sit and we hope that they will come back again for us in the future. They arrived as sitters but left as friends.
