Dog Sitters in Round Lake, NY

Shirley and Tom are the ideal pet and house sitters. They took excellent care of our dog Wesley, our neighbors commented that they were very diligent about walking him and were obvious dog lovers. They kept us informed with periodic texts and pictures, Wesley loved being with them. We came home to an immaculate house--they even left flowers for us.

We could not have been more happy with our experience having Shelby and her significant other, Marty stay in our home for 2 1/2 weeks. They took excellent care of our beloved labradoodle, Wilt and our home was in impeccable shape upon our return. Shelby sent me photos of Wilt throughout our vacation and responded to my calls and text messages in a timely fashion. It was a wonderful experience all the way around!

Carol's communication was excellent and she was a reliable sitter whom I was very grateful to have come and take care of my two dogs. She was kind, attentive, and asked questions when needing more information. She was a delight!

Katelyn is awesome!! This was her second time sitting for me and I wish I could have her sit every time. She really truly connected with and loved my cats and takes such great care of the house she even cleaned the shower before she left! Thank you for everything! You are the best.

We highly recommend Bjorn as a pet and house sitter. We have used Bjorn several times to take care of our 3 dogs, cat, chickens, and large homestead. He is wonderful. The animals all love him and are excited every time they see him. Not only was the pet care wonderful, he shared lots of love and play which each of them individually. He sent us texts and photos, asked questions when he needed to, and he left the house even cleaner than when he arrived. He is a very kind and trustworthy human and we feel lucky to have him watch our home and pets.

Jere was an amazing sitter! He took great care of our babies, kept them entertained and we were free to enjoy our trip without worry. He took meticulous care of the house and was very reliable and also flexible and accommodating with arrival and departure times. We hope he can sit for us again!

Deirdre and her sweet step-granddaughter came to stay and take care of my kitties, Simon and Ladybug. Deirdre was communicative and friendly as we set up the sit, and sent me pics and updated during the stay. They left the house spotless and the kitties were very happy. They brought the kitties toys and left some gifts for me which was unnecessary but so generous and kind. I would highly recommend Deirdre as a sitter!

Dan and Claire were a joy to have take care of my dog Coco for 10 days. Not only was Coco kept clean and house cared for, but Coco had her own mini-vacation with day trip to Acadia for a hike, multiple trips to dog park with full bath after (muddy this time of year), and long daily walks and play time. I received daily updates with photos. I would welcome Dan and Claire back in my home anytime.

I have no reservations recommending Natalie as someone to help look after your house and pets. Aside from the concrete things necessary for a good sitter -- arriving at the time she said she could (mine was a very last-minute sitting request, so this piece could have been a challenge), being self-sufficient, taking care to keep things tidy, and enjoying spending time with (in my case) our dog -- Natalie is a lovely person and I'm happy to have met her. I could not return until about 8:30 pm, so she stayed over for that night and even took care of my dog's nighttime going-outside needs and fed her early in the morning so that I was able to get a really good night's sleep after chaperoning a group of 12 kids for two nights! We had time to talk and learn a little more about each other before she went on her way. Like Mary Poppins!

Megan was great! Very communicative - took great care of our house and pups. We appreciated the changes in their schedule they made to get on schedule with our older, set in their way pups.

Keri and Aaron were kind enough to come for a visit a couple of days before the start of their sit. During the sit, They sent regular updates and pictures, and all seemed to go well.

Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!
