Edward and I had a lovely time house sitting for Elizabeth and taking care of Dora. Elizabeth is a lovely charismatic lady who clearly fired on Dora - and who wouldn’t?! Dora is a lot of fun and we really enjoyed looking after her. We’d be delighted to house sit for Elizabeth anytime.
It was a real pleasure to sit with Tilley and Bailey. They have completely different characters, and nature and both are very intelligent and quick to learn. It was fun being with them, however it wasn't a problem to leave them alone for a while while we were out exploring. The house ( a typical Queenslander ) is full of character and is situated within walking distance to the main train line which travels to Brisbane. We would enjoy eating our breakfast in the early morning sun , on the rear deck ,and later in the day once again enjoy the deck for a drink before tea. The dogs soon learnt our daily routine and it wasn't long before they could tell us it was time for the morning or afternoon walk and run around. It was very easy to communicate with Tony and Anna whilst they were away , which makes it very comforting for any sitter to know. If you enjoy dogs you will certainly enjoy these two , if the opportunity to sit for them arises.
Tiki and Tux are lovely fun dogs, Kits and Woody are fluffy affectionate cats and we really enjoyed looking after them all for nearly two weeks. A long daily walk on the downs to use up boundless doggy energy was a great way to start every day and cuddles with the cats at anytime was the perfect balance. Annalisa and Matt's home is large warm and comfortable with a gorgeous kitchen. They are great hosts who communicated well and provided an excellent handbook of helpful information and explaining routines. They ensured we met and socialised with the dogs before they left. The location is good for exploring the Gloucestershire countryside shopping and eating out. Thank you for trusting us.
I had such a lovely time staying in Victoria's wonderful eclectic home in St. Louis! It was a true cat lovers paradise, a beautiful art deco style apartment with lots of vintage cat themed charm in a vibrant neighborhood with great nearby coffee shops and restaurants, and a lovely park that I enjoyed walking to. Victoria was very kind and accommodating, gave great communication and made sure I had everything I needed to have a great stay. The kitties were perfect angels, so sweet and lovable that I was heartbroken to have to say goodbye to them! Sweet old Praline does need to be watched a bit more carefully to make sure she's eating properly and doing okay, but this was not difficult at all, and just requires that you keep an eye on her and make sure she can't get into Pewter's food. Overall, this is the perfect stay for a cat person that wants to explore the city and hang out with some adorable kitties! I had a great time exploring St. Louis and really appreciated all the recommendations from Victoria and her sister on cool local spots to check out. I also was super happy to just spend time inside hanging out with some of the cutest cats I've had the pleasure of watching! I'd love to come back in the future, and would highly recommend this stay for any other cat people :)
Our sit for Anita was an absolute delight. Barney and Maddie were two of the most well-behaved and sweetest pets we have sat for since joining Trusted House Sitters. They were great off-lead, enjoyed lots of cuddles, and were a joy to take care of. Anita’s home is lovely and located just a stone's throw from a beautiful walk in Trelissick Gardens and close to stunning beaches and towns. We took Barney and Maddie with us on some road trips and not only were they fantastic in the car, but we had such a fun time walking along Bedruthan and playing at dog-friendly beaches. Anita was lovely and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely sit for her and her wonderful dogs again.
Scout is really a cute cat. He waits gently on the sofa or the bed that we come to hug him. He accepts without problem that he is taken in the arms. And in good English, he is very punctual for his meals! He can also make himself understood when the time for go out has arrived. But despite his kindness, after a few days, his moms miss him, so he needs a lot of kindness and some treats and plays. The apartment is very nice and quiet, the area is also relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the city center.Just some meters walk to the buses that lead directly to Tower Bridge (42) or Trafalgar Square ( 68 or 468). The way to the East Dulwich subway (where there is also a shopping center) is green and pleasant. Emma and Emma offer a very complete house guide and they are available for questions and suggestions. I thanks them for giving me the opportunity to discover London in such a pleasant place and with a so lovely company of Scout.
