The cozy living spaces and well-stocked pet supplies made my responsibilities as a house sitter AND sports fan, enjoyable and stress-free. What a dream sit! Charlie is such a sweetheart and he'll have you melt time and again. He is super friendly and cuddly, affectionate and not at all fussy. It was an absolute pleasure to look after him. Jenny is equally as lovely and a real pleasure to communicate with. Her home is in the heart of East London, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would recommend in a heartbeat!
Caring for the unique and wonderful kitties at this house was enjoyable, comfortable, and convenient as it is in a residential area very close to all the activities of Downtown Asheville. The cats were initially reserved, but soon remained on the couch with me when I joined them!! The house is efficiently organized, making amazing use of a small space! The cats have their own door that opens only to their chips, but indeed, as Alexis describes in her post, as long as the cat is carrying another "critter" in its mouth, that critter can be brought in to the house, as the lovable cat hopes to show you his prize and be duly rewarded and appreciated!! Only one of the three cats uses the litter box, so that care was easy, especially since the litter was flushable. The bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality. There was a wonderful luxury of having an instant hot water machine, so tea could be made with no waiting!! Alexis was easy to communicate with and had a great homeowners manual. I recommend this housesit.
The house is great. Wookie and Willie are reluctant but once you convince them sooo amazing! Very likable! Only drawback is they mostly did their business at home so you need to clean up. But it's not an issue with tiny dogs like them. And the evening cuddling is worth it! When deciding to sit for Rene must remember that it is secluded and the area allows to get rested rather than entertained :) for us it was great (maybe just the weather........)
