Richard is a wonderful communicator. Every time I requested something, he responded promptly. He also responds well to instruction. This was his first sit for me and he stayed the night before my trip so that my pups could get acquainted with him. Thunder & Gracie were thankful for the easy transition and I came home to relaxed furbabies. There were a few things I needed to communicate/emphasize better, and on his second sit - everything was purrfect.
I had a wonderful time with Luke! Daniel was very helpful and a wonderful host, he made sure we had everything we needed and had a very welcoming home to stay in. He showed me Lukes routines and where he likes to go for outings and walks and made sure Luke was comfortable and stayed in his routine while he was gone. The home was even better than the pictures very peaceful and quiet. Luke was the sweetest and so much fun to be with! He got along great with my dog also and Daniel was kind enough to let us both stay. I look forward to helping again in the future!
We loved taking care of Beans and Bonnie and Alan’s home. Beans is sweet dog and got along with our dog really well. Bonnie and Alan live in a beautiful, safe lovely neighborhood that was in walking distance of Beaufort! The house was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect weekend! Beans was a very vocal boy and let us know when he needed help getting up or wanted to go outside, or attention! We really enjoyed our stay there and getting to know Bonnie and Alan a little before they left for their trip!
Sitters, if you spot this listing, don't hesitate to book—it's a journey well worth taking. Tom and Misaki, the warm-hearted hosts of this Okinawa paradise, were gracious and welcoming from the moment they picked me up at Ishigaki airport. Upon arrival, we headed to the market for culinary supplies for the sit. Post-shopping, they opened their home by preparing a dinner that I was grateful to share with this sweet couple, and even happier to meet Max before dinner was served. Max, a charming little feline, whose black coat with a complimentary grey belly tuft defied any superstitions! His piercing green eyes looked over the couch and he quietly came over to greet me to Tom & Misaki’s surprise. They were elated by his enthusiasm to allow me the gracious gift of chin scratches, as they conveyed he can be a big scaredy cat. During time we spent together after their departure, he was no scaredy-cat at all. In fact he was quite vocal and frequently flopped over at my feet wanting belly rubs! I discovered that he is an avid bird, squirrel, and deer fanatic upon tuning into cat tv. Video games took a back seat most days, as watching the sweet boy showcased his passion for bird, squirrel, and deer antics on cat TV, often diverting my attention from video games. I couldn’t cease his enjoyment for the hunt! He’s so playful, and we spent quite a number of long volleys with his favorite toy- an old shoelace. On top of being such a joy to entertain, he was quite the chatter box; which was well appreciated as I adore when he would direct me with his meows. He will tell you exactly what he wants, most of the time he just wanted to be generously scratched on the chin or second breakfast. Sharing space with Max was a delightful experience beyond words. His positive impact on my mental well-being deepened my appreciation for this couple, their paradise island, and emphasized that affection for animals has no language barrier.
We had a wonderful time at Regina's home and recommend it to anyone who enjoys puppy cuddles. Regina and her husband were so welcoming. It was as if we had been friends for years. Their home is beautiful, comfortable, and well located. We wanted for nothing and had a blast. It has been three days since we left Regina's home and I am still longing for the dogs. Lucy, Maggie, and Marcy are about the most lovable little creatures I have ever met and I will miss them dearly. I will also miss my new friends, Regina and Ian. I can't wait to see them again.
Tigger and Diego were such a fun, fascinating feline duo. Alyson knows them well and described them perfectly. I enjoyed watching Diego explore and play, while Tigger simply sat, regally overseeing the explorations. Diego was very cuddly and affectionate without being at all needy. They were both very civilized, clean, well-mannered, well-adjusted cats. Alyson left me plenty of space to settle in, and there were a number of places in her home that are comfortable for reading a book, working, or relaxing. Her communication was very clear and warm. I happen to love a mid-century vibe, so whether I was inside Alyson’s beautiful home or walking around the area, I was aesthetically sooo happy. In addition, the gorgeous sunrises, the nearby mountains, copious hummingbirds, and the many citrus trees offer such a beautiful, peaceful immersion in nature. Did I mention that there’s also a pool and hot tub? I have to say that this was one of my favorite sits ever, and I’d love to sit for Diego and Tig again.
Sean and Jasmine offered me a warm and hospitable welcome during my stay. Taking care of your two lovely cats, Q and Guinan, was an absolute joy. These furry darlings are incredibly sweet and a delight to be around. Their playful nature was a pleasure to watch. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable, and I felt completely at ease throughout my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this housesitting opportunity.
