We were incredibly fortunate to connect with Dave and Wilma! They took fantastic care of our house, plants, yard, and two cats. They sent regular updates and photos of our little furballs throughout our monthlong trip, and they went above and beyond on some unexpected events. For starters, when a roofing crew unexpectedly had an opening in their schedule and wanted to re-roof our house while we were gone, Dave was happy to let them start work. He kept us posted on progress, and even cleaned up after them. Dave was also stuck wrestling with our poor lawnmower after one of the wheels came off, and he dealt with a piece of furniture that was delivered after we left. They were also diligent cleaners: I think Dave mopped our floors dang near every day. Beyond that, Dave and Wilma were super flexible with our travel dates. They accepted our sit on pretty short notice, and they were super gracious about us leaving a couple of days behind schedule and changing our return date by a few days. It was a perfect experience all around. If they were interested in watching our place again, we'd love to have them back!
