If Doug and Alannah send you a request to sit, accept them RIGHT AWAY!! They were absolutely wonderful. They took such great care of our senior pup -- he has digestive and mobility issues and they were on top of it and went above and beyond to support him. We are new homeowners and Doug even helped check things out in the house, fix things and offer advice. They took great care of the place, and were just incredibly friendly, delightful people. We would LOVE to have them back and are so grateful we were able to have them watch over our fur babies and house while we were away.

My pets are really relaxed when I come home. My neighborhood dog owners really like how dedicated and responsible he is and how he gives a fast paced walk, which she needs.

I / we had such a wonderful time staying with Maxx, Sweety and Happy. Maxx is really easy going, he's very protective of his home and family, but soo kind. Of course he needs his three walks a day and a little bit of playtime, but his favourite place to be is the couch, prefereably with human company. Sweety had just joined the family when I arrived, she is a very kind horse, but needs some time to get to knonw you and gets spooked easily. Happy on the other hand was very curious from the beginning, he started testing what he can do from time to time, but if you do have a little bit of experience with horses, you'll be totally fine. All three of them are very sweet and pretty easy to handle, they will defenitely make your days. I miss them so much already! Mieke and Alex are such great hosts, both are very welcoming and responsive. They are always there if you need an advice, and like to be kept up to date, but do leave you the space to handle things your own way as well, as long as everyone in the petfamily is well taken care of. I am so grateful I got to stay here, and wish them nothing but the best (pets and humans)!

Peter and Jenny were very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond to show us around the village and Inca's favourite walking spots.
It was a pleasure to look after Inca for 2 weeks. She is very calm, well behaved and polite. She loves a swim in the river on a hot day and was very good at showing her temporary carers the ropes (and the way to the pub in the next village!).
The house is very comfortable with a lovely new garden room and is in an excellent location in a friendly village as well as being close to Cambridge. If you like curry, the curry night at Mohak Cafe in the village is excellent.

It has been a pleasure meeting Alessandra and her family and cat sitting Midnight and Twilight! They are the cutest cats and very sweet.

Alessandra is very good at communicating, she and her husband showed me the house and how to give Midnight her medication before my sitting as I was already in London and have been very welcoming!

It was a very good experience! Thank you 🙏

Linda
We loved our petsit here. It was one of our first non-work getaways and it truly relaxed. How could it not with that view? The back patio and upper balcony provide extensive views of thr bay. Great for birders. We didn't travel that much away from the home since it didn't seem necessary.
Thank you, greatly, Linda and John!

You were very thorough in details, kind as can be, gracious as one would hope. Yet another reason to love making new friends through this platform. To feel truly at home and know you are loving their pets so they stay healthy and loved is the definition of a wonderful sit. The bonus is the guest room bed was comfortable and one of the best. We like to sleep well.
Rockport has a small town feel (at least in winter) but be prepared as things are not open all the time as bigger cities. The art district has a variety of shops. You can tell they are still rebuilding. Lots of seafood!
The cats were all wonderful. Buster is a lovable stinker that loves to eat (too much.) Tiger has that tomcat swagger of owning the place. I was very nervous to let him out, but found he does return and if left inside too long, he gets ornery. It's best he wanders for everyone's benefit.
The two cats to get a little extra TLC are Blackie and Chica. I fed Blackie whenever he wanted, but guarded the food from Buster. Chica takes a couple days to warm like Linda said, but found that it was quicker if you purposely spent time where she is. Sitting on the bed will bring her to you eventually, as it doesn't work the other way around. It makes bringing her in from the balcony easier, as I just picked her up. She loves her treats.

Oscar is a sweetheart who will cuddle and nap with you any time - and occasionally chase you around the house (or let you chase him, more like).
His, sorry Lara's, flat is impeccable, spacious, and super comfortable. It's in a brilliant neighbourhood right by a main tube (subway) line just one stop from the main train station and surrounded by excellent cafés, restaurants, and other amenities. I felt v at home and was so happy to spend time with my new buddy Oscar whose pasttime is contemplating the world whilst sitting on his balcony and looking out into the distance (i.e. quiet green courtyard), amongst other things.
Communication with Lara was easy and helpful whenever I had any questions beyond her comprehensive Welcome Guide.
10/10 would recommend this sit and I certainly hope to get to repeat sit some time in the future.
Thanks so, so much for having me!

KATHRYN
Everything was perfect! 😊
Kathryn gave us the instructions with the routines for each pet and it was very easy to comply with them.
The meal times, Oti's daily walks (if there are extra walks the better, he will always be ready for a walk, otherwise he will let you know he needs it), he will be an excellent guide along the walk and he is also very polite when you call him or want to get his attention because of the presence of a car, he knows perfectly how to behave.🐶
Tids can show little interest at first but if you let him and always respecting her limits and time, she will be happy with some cuddles and in our experience he even slept with us, which we loved.🥰
As for the horses, it was very easy, we went to see him every day and give him his food rations as well.🫶🏼

Thank you very much Kathryn for trusting us!🙌🏼
