We had a great time sitting Winston the famous Airdale! He is a very easy guy, likes to know where you are but generally keeps to himself. He must have an internal timer because you'll only hear him bark exactly when it's time to eat (or when other dogs pass the gate). He loves his two daily walks and if you can get him to the woods, even better. He's good on lead and could care less about what other people and dogs are around, but if he sees a cat he'll lunge at it so be prepared. Actually, also be prepared for random people stopping you to say how beautiful he is! They really love Mr Winston in Beaconsfield! :) Joanna was so lovely and welcoming, and great at communicating Winston's routine and where to find everything we need in the house. The house is beautiful, the neighbourhood is quaint and walking distance from the high street and Old Beaconsfield. We feel very lucky to have gotten to stay here for 2 weeks! We miss Winston's goofy playfulness already :) Cheers!

Although this sit recommended a couple, Caroline was happy to invite me as I advised I was a practical person and happy to be on my own with the dogs and house. I was met by the previous sitters who handed over the day before and left the following morning after walking the dogs together. A delightful house surrounded by farmland and mountains. The 4 adult dogs were very easy to care for and the two one year olds well behaved. Caroline kindly provided her automatic car which was essential to get to the shops and explore the beaches and countryside. A guide was provided for reference and despite a problem with water for a day the sit was very enjoyable and relaxinging. Caroline gave me a friends number should I need anything which was reassuring and useful as she showed me around and Caroline was easy to contact and communicate with should I have any questions. On Caroline's return we spent a few lovely days together visiting shops beaches restaurants. I fell in love with the area and will definitely be back and recommend this sit to anyone who is happy to be alone and enjoys their own company and the company of these lovely dogs, take care and respect the house, and its contents, keep the garden tidy and give the dogs plenty of TLC. Our stay at Martin and Tyler's went very smoothly; the apartment is very clean and nicely decorated, conveniently located in the heart of Brooklyn with easy access to tourist attractions. Taking care of Arthur and Marcel was a true delight; they are two easygoing and affectionate cats. Arthur is a bit shy, but we managed to win him over gradually. Thanks again to both of you for trusting us :)
Goodness me, how to put this into words?! Caring for Percy and Bob was such an absolute joy!! It was just the best experience! We love both of these darling pets hugely now and we immediately felt so warmly welcomed to this amazing pet sit by kind and caring Alice and Rob. These lovely folks have the very cosiest home in beautiful Cornwall, near Liskeard, and their garden is also an exquisite space. We passed a lot of time out of doors during this pet sit, either in the lovely garden with both Bob and Percy, or we were walking the radiant surrounding countryside with dear Bob at our side. Bob is so cheerful and adoring of everyone, and he really loves water. He also loves to play little games with his favourite toys and it is utterly heart melting to do this with him! From the moment we had a call with these folks ahead of the sit, we were in a high state of excitement, feeling that it would be a very cosy and incredibly special experience, and truly, it was everything we imagined and far, far more. Luke and I have never liked a house itself as much as we loved this one (dreaming up a future home of ours just like it!), and it felt like we became best pals with sweet chatty Percy (such an affectionate cat and he absolutely loves a lap!), as well as with dearest big hearted Bob. We miss them both loads, talk about them all of the time, and we sincerely hope that the happy opportunity arises for us to care for them again in the future. Thank you for your generous hospitality, Alice and Rob, your family is so wonderful!
