Avital
Zora is a very sweet cat. She was shy for the first 2 days, but started to come out of her shell around day 3.
She loves head scratches and naps, and spent most of the day on the couch. Zora is a very vocal cat, who will greet you with lots of meows when you enter the door, whenever she’s hungry, and at random intervals throughout the day. Overall, she was super easy to take care of.
She LOVES food. There is an automatic feeder that goes off twice a day (6:30am and 11:30pm), and I fed her around 4pm.
She will try to fool you into thinking that the automatic feeder hasn’t gone off by herding you to the machine and showing you her empty food bowl, so keep that in mind. She will start asking for food around 5/5:30am, then again at 7am/whenever you get out of bed, and again around 3/3:30pm.

The apartment was great. It has lots of light and is only about a 15 minute walk to the metro (green line). Avital was very nice and gave me food recs for the neighborhood too!

Thank you so much Lisa and Clive for such a wonderful housesit. I so enjoyed looking after Peanut and Pumpkin and your house and garden which are really beautiful. I also enjoyed the local walks to Cam Peak, along the canal at Purton and the Cotswold Way around Dursley, Wotton and Stitchcombe. Thank you also for your invitation for an evening meal on the first night and for making it so welcoming. I would be very happy to housesit fir you again.

Zandra
We had a fabulous time at Zandra's and Dave's place. Harley, their nine 9 month old puppy, was so much fun and is well trained. Our boys so enjoyed his company and playfulness. The house we stayed in is beautiful and very comfortable, and we already miss the walks we had with Harley as the views across the West Yorkshire countryside are truly stunning. Finally, Zandra and Dave were so friendly, warm-hearted, and welcoming. This gig was a real joy. Thank you, Zandra, and thank you, Dave. Much love ❤️

Sitting for Sandy and Cooper was ideal! Sandy is new to THS but you wouldn't know it. Her home was pristine clean, just how I like it and leave it! She took great care in communicating and I can tell she really appreciated the frequent updates and photos. Cooper is a dream! What a sweet sweet dog! I have made a friend for life there and already miss our snuggles. If you get a chance to take a respite in Queen Creek, take it here. You won't regret it! Experienced housesitters will understand what I mean when I say this was an easy, uncomplicated, very comfortable and enjoyable sit, very mutually respectful! I would LOVE to hang with Mr. Cooper anytime, and thank you, Sandy for your great attention to detail!

You won't find a better housesitting situation anywhere on this platform!

Kate and Andrew have built a beautiful home that is very comfortable and welcoming, in a natural setting that is unparalleled. I applaud and admire the fact that they are preserving a large area of primary lowland tropical rainforest. The world needs more people like Andrew and Kate. They have embraced the ethos of Costa Rica...and we all benefit from their generosity.

But more importantly, Kate and Andrew are kind, intelligent, thoughtful and generous people and I hope that they will allow me to call them friends. They see the best in people and possess high levels of emotional intelligence. They are trusting and at the same time trustworthy. They went to a lot of effort to make me feel completely comfortable about the housesit before I arrived. They are open and communicate exceptionally well. I'd be surprised if you could find better hosts anywhere.

Their girl Rosie is equally sweet and loving. I enjoyed her company so much during my stay...I miss her endless kisses already.  She's easy and a pleasure to care for. She made me laugh out loud so many times...she's a delightful character.

I am so looking forward to sitting for Kate and Andrew again soon. The experience has been a highlight of my time housesitting with THS.

Muchas gracias amigos!
