Cat Sitters in Rural Dell, OR

Lark and Matthew took great care of my home and my three cats (and the occasional feline visitor). I felt complete confidence in them when I left, and they lived up to that confidence. They kept me informed, sent me frequent photos of my cats, and left my home in tip-top shape.

Absolutely 💯, and even this doesn’t adequately describe!!!! She and her daughter, Anna, sat for us during a cold week in January., From the first communication it was obvious Heather was a caring, competent, experienced, sitter, but it was over time we discovered the gem she truly is! We always leave the house clean, and we returned to a spotless house - even the inside door mats were vacuumed which is something we do but don’t ask or expect it of our sitters; the trash/recycling cans had been left by the curb for tomorrow’s pickup even though we’d be returning in time to do so; and a lovely bouquet of big sunflowers and small purple coneflowers were beautifully arranged in a pitcher on the counter! It was a super exceptional, awesome welcome home! From the first texts when they were on their way from Portland and then their arrival with a picture of Luna already snuggled onto Anna’s shoulder, to the nightly check-ins (with pics of Luna helping them play board games, snuggled on their laps or in their arms, on the rug by the fire with Anna snoozing beside her, playing ball abs her in paper bag), it was obvious they all were enjoying the time together! There are many examples of what impressed/blew us away (such as our joint fireplace remote trouble-shooting and happy resolution over the phone; their flexibility to allow a quick window replacement and more so watching the installation to make sure the workers were professional while in the house; and her concern and efforts to remove onion odor from the lid of a small storage container), suffice it to say that had there been any kind of serious emergency, we are absolutely confident it would have been competently and calmly handled! Obviously, we would have Heather (and Anna) back in a heartbeat, and seriously hope their schedules and our trips align again … and again!!!

This was our second visit from Michael & RJ and another perfect experience. They were so flexible with our departure and return time, left the house spotless, and sent super cute updates on our cat while we were gone. Mac loves them so much he just climbs into their laps on arrival and seems so happy while they are with him. Would recommend them any day. We love having them stay and hope they come back!

Cristie and her niece, Grace, stayed at our house and looked after Louie for a long weekend on their visit to Brighton. I can’t begin to say how wonderful they were. They took louie all around with them during their explorations of Brighton and really looked after him as their own pet. Louie is a lively dog and they really were able to manage him so well. He was utterly spoilt and louie formed a real bond with them. They left the house spotless, arrived on time and had great communication throughout. They even left some little treats all the way from the US. They would be welcome back any time they are back in brighton and would highly recommend. Thank you Cristie and Grace!

This is the second time we have had Chris and Theresa sit for us. We were so glad to get them back! They go above and beyond with the duties at our home. Our cat Lucy is a favorite of theirs, so we know she is getting the best care. We had a health issue that required postponing their arrival, and they went with the change easily. Their communication is outstanding. They sent updates on Lucy and what was going on. Chris did a few projects on his own around our house, much to our delight! Our numerous plants were in perfect shape. We arrived home to a spotless house with all the sheets and towels clean. This means a lot after travel. Their care for us, our Lucy, and our home was outstanding!

Wonderful and amazing! Sent pics of our fur babies and went above a beyond to take care of our home, dog and cat! Highly recommend them and hope they would consider sitting for us in the future! Thanks so much Marisol and Naomi!

Daniel and Christine did an amazing job taking care of our animals and home. They are very communicative, and we loved the pictures they shared daily. We had the opportunity to spend time with them before we left on our trip. It was delightful to get to know them. They showed a commitment to care for our animals the way we do. They stuck to routines, and allowed our aging dogs to be their constant shadows while we were gone. They also took care of our chickens, and applied wound care which was so awesome. We would absolutely have them sit for us again.

Chris & Sally were great sitters They were very good with our rescue dog.It was a concern because we had been a bit unsure if they had enough experience with dogs.But they instantly made friendly contact with Ebony our dog so we felt very relaxed leaving him with Sally & Chris.They played with Ebony which definitely made them great friends.They were easy going & we enjoyed the time we spent with them.They took good care of our property & seemed to have a good time.We would definitely have them back!

Very much appreciate Michael and Jordana coming over to the coast with short notice. This was their second time here. Our schedules didn’t allow us to connect in person, but that was no problem. Except that it would be nice to see them, of course. Gracie seemed very relaxed and happy when I got home and I appreciated the cute pictures that they sent during my time away. The house is in perfect condition and sheets and towels were in the washer and dryer. Thank you very much to you both and I highly recommend welcoming Michael and Jordana into your home.

Ila was a fantastic petsitter who was gratefully flexible to meet our changing dates due to a change in another sitter's availability. It was obvious our pets adored her. When our dog had a dental emergency before we left she was able to handle his meds and change in activity like a pro. Ila's communication was wonderful and we came home to a sparkling clean home.

It was a blessing having Amy care for my pet and home while I was away for 2 weeks. She really is an intuitive and instantly made a connection with Bernie my cat. His behavior showed he was comfortable with her from the start. The house was also impeccably clean when I arrived back! Thank you Amy!!

Thanks to Sequoia, we were able to attend a family reunion with peace of mind. Sequoia went above and beyond to care for our dog and home. Sequoia followed our somewhat complicated schedule for our high needs dog with health problems, including various medications throughout the day, prescription baths and controlled walking for our dog’s handicap. Sequoia corresponded with our dog’s doctors and took our dog to an appointment. Most of all, Sequoia gave our dog the attention and love that she needed during this challenging time in her life. We feel so thankful to have found someone so patient and reliable as Sequoia. Sequoia also took good care of our yard and left things tidy! Highly recommended!
