Michael’s cats Oliver and Maxine are gorgeous and very easy to care for. Their personalities are sweet and they are easy to love. Michael’s home is set up with several outdoor cat areas and window perches so the cats have it made! Michael’s home was clean and tidy and enjoyable to stay at. It is centrally located and the outdoor space is quite enjoyable. We would love to sit for Michael again and care for Oliver and Maxine!
We had a wonderful time taking care of lovely Lucy and fabulous Flynn. They were both so incredibly well behaved and truly delightful. Helen and Andy were very warm and welcoming, we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Their communication prior to, and throughout the sit, was great. Their house is beautiful and cozy, and it was made extra special for us being decorated for Christmas with such an assortment of festive decorations! They even left us each a little Christmas gift! It was such a great experience and we would definitely recommend this housesit to anyone who loves gorgeous dogs! Thank you Helen and Andy for letting us care for Lucy and Flynn.
Jane and Chris were very welcoming and accommodating and Roxie was a complete delight to look after, so so cute and affectionate. The flat’s location is ideal, just across the sea front. Unfortunately the room I was supposed to sleep in was less ideal, with a very strong damp smell and not very clean. I was not able to sleep in it due to the smell, so writing this here for future seaters to be able to make an informed choice. Despite this, wishing you both all the best and thank you for everything.
We are full time housesitters and this was our favourite arrangement to date. The home is beautifully appointed, spacious, and is situated in a safe, oceanfront subdivision. There are coffee shops within walking distance and a convenient place to buy local farm fresh eggs. On a good day Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Nanaimo was only a 20 minute drive but we found ourselves spending most of our leisure time in Parksville and Qualicum Beach. While Angela's functional and organized home exceeded our expectations, it was Angela herself and her darling girls that made this a memorable experience. Angela is a genuine soul who wants nothing more than her housesitters to feel at home. We appreciated her trust but even more, we appreciated developing a friendship that feels like we now have family on the Island. Thank you Angela for your support and good company! As for the stars of the show Wino and Moet, we fell head over heals. These are highly intelligent and sensitive creatures who quickly bonded with us (well, Moet took a little more time). They were well-behaved, easy to care for and provided daily entertainment. We can't wait to spend time with these characters again.
