Archie and Lily are such sweet dogs. It was a pleasure to walk them around the neighborhood in Oakland. Housesitting fur Amy and David was wonderful.

We can't begin to express how grateful we are to have been fortunate enough to care for Zuko and Hero while Neha and Ani were away! The babies were so adorable and no fuss whatsoever! We loved watching them play and sleep, and Hero especially stole our hearts with all of her cute, picturesque posing while hiding in the bookshelves and laying on the couch. We would gladly agree to pet-sit them again anytime and are looking forward to any future opportunities to do so.

Our hosts, Neha and Ani, were incredibly accommodating! They left the apartment immaculately tidy for us which has set the bar high for our future stays. When they returned, they invited us out to dinner and we got to spend an incredibly meaningful afternoon getting to know them better, which we will always appreciate. Their apartment is located in a convenient area of Oakland and we really enjoyed being within walking distance of so many cool and interesting locations. They also happen to have the best reading selection and an impeccable taste for interior design, which we unapologetically enjoyed throughout our stay. We hope to see them again soon and highly recommend their services as hosts to anyone who enjoys the company of such sincerely warm and cordial people.

Bruno is a lovely dog, well trained and friendly, and the home in Grittleton is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't have been more welcome, and would love to sit again

Scarlett and I had the most wonderful time with Olive and Lula, they are the most adorable, loving dogs with lots of personality. Charlotte was a great host, there was clear communication, a comprehensive welcome pack and the house was immaculately clean for us to stay. Their house is gorgeous with the most stunning views of their garden, we enjoyed sitting in their garden with the sunshine and tending to the chickens. It's also a beautiful place for walks at Devils Punchbowl - National Trust Reserve. We would absolutely love to go back, hopefully for longer next time! Thanks Charlotte and Jason, we really enjoyed our stay.. x

Clare McStay
We had such a fabulous time sitting for Clare and her family. They have a lovely home in the most fabulous location. There are so many places to explore locally and you can be straight out of the door walking in the New Forest.

Myrtle has the most beautiful nature and loves attention and Mabel is just gorgeous as well... a bundle of energy and will keep you entertained for hours. They were both brilliant companions for long walks and games in the garden and gave the loveliest cuddles. We were really sad to leave them!

The sheep are the friendliest we've ever met and are very amusing. It was also really nice collecting fresh eggs from the chickens every day.

Clare showed us the ropes before departing on holiday and made us feel very welcome from the start. We had an amazing week and would house-sit for them again anytime. x

Michael and Julia
My oh My....I would never of wanted to leave a review like this, but since Julia decided she'd leave me one. I guess I should offer the same.
I drove all the way to their home on Christmas Eve to meet the dogs the day before the family would leave on their trip.
Upon entering the home- I was immediately greater with the stench of dog. The amount of dander and hair in the home was pertinent. I didn't go far aside to the kitchen island. Said hello to the dogs and that was it.
I knew upon arrival and seeing the condition of their home (LOOKS NOTHING like the photos they have Posted!!)
That My daughter & I should NOT do this sit. We would Not be comfortable in these living conditions... but after hearing about the excitement of the children going away, I thought we'd give it an ole college try!
My first issue was, I was not given a key! They don't lock their door...? I expressed not feeling safe because I have a special needs child. They assured me of safety, especially with the dogs and living higher on the hill.

We can to our sit the day after Christmas. Dogs had not been bathed. The beautiful jacuzzi bath tub is nothing but a HUGE liter box, filled with poop & a trash can with more poop.
Cat litter was everywhere!
Needless to say I spent an entire 3 hours, cleaning!! That's what the back & forth texts were about. They had hardly any cleaning supplies,no sponges!!

The amount of dog hair and dust was unreal. I had to clean out the trap on the robo vacuum. I had to move the couches that by the way are all ripped up and beat up by the dogs scratching. As well as the walls everywhere!

The poor bearded dragon is poorly taken care of. He has no lighting, No calcium and is showing signs of MBD. You would think with an engineering & teaching back ground they'd learn how to properly take care of a Exotic pet! Then again by the condition of their home- it did not suprize me.

The duties kept piling up. We'd walk the dogs 20 minutes at least 3/4x's a day. (In not sure why they thought that was short? ) They still came home to POOP & PEE all over the balcony.
Which upon arrival I was left with said dog poop.
By day 2 I was exhausted!
This is not a paid position & they kept texting me of things I needed to do just to get warm water to bathe. Which they also have a bathroom leak that kept pouring out the lid. I sent Michael a video but he said he already knew about it...hmmm!

We were given the top half the house so I never went downstairs, until I was asked to do the laundry for the new sitter.
Upon walking down the stairs. My heart literally STOPPED for a second. Dirty or filthy is an understatement!! I've got photos for proof!!
I put our sheets in the washer and packed and cleaned more to head out. My daughter had therapy at 1230 in San Marcos but they had asked me to return back at noon to meet the new sitter. I told them I could not make that time... but would gladly talk through what all I was told to keep doing as well as the duties that were added to my list.
Just a side note. I personally spent money and brought their bearded dragon healthy food and dubias which are vital in their lives. If Thor doesn't get proper lighting, UV bulbs for his bones and is given calcium his MBD will further deteriorate his bones and he will eventually parish. Just like Lily is in a Great deal of pain. She can barely walk as you can clearly see her hips/legs hurt her. I just couldn't bare to watch anymore.
I wish nothing but the best for these fur babies!

Best to whomever decides to take on this JOB. Please remember, the photos are Very deceiving!!! 😔
