Jakki and Tom were absolutely perfect housesitters. Communication with Jakki in advance was really good and our handover went very smoothly as a result. Pepper warmed to Jakki and Tom straight away, and we could tell that they were going to get on well. They made an effort to connect with her through cuddles and play as soon as they met her so they could establish a good relationship. They looked after Pepper really well whilst we were away, sent us regular updates and photos, and clearly gave her lots of love and attention. When we returned home, it was perfectly clean and they’d washed all of the bedding and towels they’d used. We would love to have Jakki and Tom back again!
Shelly is a warm and very reliable house sitter. She looked after our 2 dogs, house and garden exceptionally well while we were on holiday for 2 weeks. Shelly kept us regularly informed and sent us lots of photos of the dogs who were clearly having a great time. She needs little guidance and is very capable of dealing with any issues that arise. Our house was spotless when we arrived back and the dogs were very happy. Crumble, Pip and us were sad to say goodbye to here when we got home somewhat tired from our travels. We have no hesitation in recommending Shelly.
Jason is the best dog sitter I’ve ever had. I could tell he was the right person during our meet and greet when his eyes lit up talking about all of the pets he’s gotten to care for. During the sit: he was immediately responsive, took tons of pictures (in which my pups CLEARLY loved him), kept the apartment tidy, checked in with me to let me know things were going well, and took snapshots of his walking route with the pups. My favorite part of this experience is that he really listened to everything we went over during the meet and greet. The captions on his pictures reflected those tiny details! He was also flexible with my timing and didn’t complain once while the AC was being fixed (of course it happened right before I left and maintenance took 2 hours to fix it)! Jason even did the laundry, did some manual labor that I didn’t intend for him to do but was massively appreciative of, and cleaned everything. The place looked even better than when I left. I highly recommend Jason and will definitely be asking him to come back when I need to travel.
This was a fabulous experience. David and Paul are great hosts. Their home is beautiful, they are both friendly and very accommodating. I feel instantly at home. The cats are easy to care for and will win you over. Sylie is the star of the show because she’s the baby and way too cute. Louie is the gentle giant and Fang keeps to herself or spends her time outdoors. You can walk to the Rainhill center and the train in 5 min. It’s a great area! The train will take you to Liverpool in 30-40 min and also to Manchester. I highly recommend this opportunity to petsit.
