Dog Sitters in Rutherford, CA

Bella was lovely and watched our dog for a weekend while we were away. She sent us a daily photo of Polly and kept her normal routine. She was very flexible in terms of her schedule/timing, and communicated well. Our home was also as clean as we left it. We would definitely have her back in the future!

We invited Shama & Sylvain back again to look after the house and pets. That should say enough right there, but I will tell you that these two make an awesome team. We live in snow country and Sylvain is very capable of snow-blowing and handling whatever winter brings. Shama is so helpful and attentive to whatever instructions are left and both are very loving and kind with the animals. It was such a comfort to have them stay here again knowing that our beloved animals are loved and well cared for. They communicate enough but not overly which we appreciate. Both times the house was returned in excellent condition, we can't offer enough praise. If you are looking for a trustworthy, caring and attentive house-sitter, these two are your best bet.

Philip and his delightful family took care of my cats, house and landscaping for 9 days. He was very proactive about calling when he said he would and initiating our walkthrough before my trip. He asked lots of detailed questions and was very responsible.

Brooke was a very responsible sitter. She bonded with our 2 cats and took great care of them. The house was left clean and tidy and she followed all instructions. I highly recommend Brooke and look forward to using her on another sit.

Alana was the perfect sitter for our first Zeewoi experience. Communication before the suit was fantastic, and she sent us regular updates during it. She left our house in great condition, and gave our cat lots of love and care. Thank you Alana!

Goya loved hanging out with Carole, Deb and Persie and we so appreciate them for taking care of the house and the dog in our absence. We highly recommend them!

Our puppy mixed breed terrier Darcy can be a bit shy but Katie made her readily comfortable. We very much appreciated our daily photos and updates including an adorable video of Darcy doing her zoomies. Our house was very clean and tidy upon our return and Katie was kind enough to leave us home baked scones upon our return. Katie was timely and asked proactive questions about home and Darcy care. We would definitely have Katie back.

From our very first conversation to our homecoming goodbyes and thank yous, Fiona and Joe were great. I could not have asked for better home and most importantly dog sitters. We rarely have 90 degree weather, but wouldn't you know it, we had 3 days of heat. Fiona was so concerned about Marble's health she asked its she could give her a bath to cool her off. Very, very thoughtful. Anyone who who not only cares for my puppy, but loves her gets high marks in the pet care category, but also high marks in the care of my home. Puppies are always a challenge and yet these two people have the understanding and love for such a situation. Marble, was happy to see us , looked great and settled in on our return as if we never left. I can't say enough about these two wonderful people and how they respected and lovingly cared for Marble and our home. I wouldn't think twice about having them sit in the future.

Elaine was a wonderful warm person who Paddy took to immediately. We had time together before and after the sit and exchanged a lot of knowledge of each other’s country. I came home to a clean and warm home with contented animals and the kettle on. Any pet would be very lucky to have Elaine look after them

Jan is amazing! We planned our trip quite far in advance and Jan confirmed with us and kept us informed of her travel plans. She came a day early to meet our pup, Poppy, and so we could walk her through the house and get to know her a bit. She was such a pleasure to meet and it was very apparent that she loves animals. Poppy absolutely loved her, and we loved all the updates Jan sent us! Plus photos! Jan left our house in immaculate condition and even washed and folded the sheets! She left us a thank you note and some treats. If you want the best of the best for your pet and home, the best is definitely Jan!

Scott and D’Arcy have been stellar housesitters, guests, and support for us! They are very knowledgeable about both dogs and horses and our animals loved the attention and care they got. As housesitters, Scott and D’Arcy went above and beyond to ensure that we were well-informed, that the animals were well cared for, and that our home was in good working order while we were away. They even washed both horse and dog while they were there! We were so pleased with their services that we asked them to stay on for additional days to cover an unplanned trip we wanted to make. That unplanned trip instead turned into a medical emergency. Throughout all of it, Scott and D’Arcy remained flexible and confident, providing care not only to the animals but also to us, giving us moral support, cooking dinners, and reassuring us through a very unsettled period. They are not just good housesitters, but intelligent, interesting, experienced and compassionate people who are a pleasure to be around. We would highly recommend them and hope they come back to see us again!

Margaret and her family did a wonderful job taking care of our home, dogs and cats. Communication was great and the house was clean when we arrived home.
