Michaela provided lots of information and wonderful videos prior to our sit, that was extremely helpful. She also responded to any questions while they were away. We truly enjoyed looking after Dibsey, Diesel, Pip, Bangers and the fish. Dibsey and Diesel were a joy, our granddaughter really enjoyed the experience of looking after them. Pip was very affectionate and playful. Bangers is a very independent cat. The house was very comfortable and homely and provided everything we needed. Bakewell was in easy walking distance from the house. A bus stop is just outside the house, which could take you to Bakewell, Chesterfield, Matlock and Buxton. This is a beautiful part of the country, we were able to walk directly into the countryside from the paddock. There is a hidden resource of having Aldi 100 meters away.
Karlie was so wonderful to sit for! She was so thorough in all of her instructions. She even sent videos of where things were located in the house that I would need for the dogs, which was incredibly helpful. She was so kind and accommodating. If you have a chance to sit for her I highly recommend it!
One of our favourite sits so far! Angela’s place is spotless and she welcomed us the night before so we could meet tPepsi & Maxx. P&M were a dream to sit. Very different personalities but both adorable. Great recall and very sociable mtoo. The walks are easy with the route just metres away from the house. The local dog community were also very welcoming too, making the walks sociable (if you want them to be). Would not hesitate to sit again and if you’re lucky enough to be picked, you’re in for a treat!
Sarah is lovely. A terrific lady who I really like. Did everything she could to make me feel welcome in her very nice traditional Maltese home. The cats were all very different characters & a pleasure to take care of. I am looking forward to a repeat of this sit whenever possible.
If you are looking for the best sit in Madrid - you got to the right place! Julien and Ivo's home is well located, well designed and well equipped (for the cooking lovers among us) . We enjoyed staying at home, working from the home office, cooking, sitting on the beautiful terrace and having Frijol's and Leo with us! Frijol and Leo are soooo nice to strangers, and they really got into our hearts. It got to the point that Barak my partner could not sit and work if Leo was not sitting on his lap :) If your not convinced yet - Julien and Ivo were extremely nice, and welcoming, they were super helpful and gave us many tips for our tour around the city. We really felt like it was important to them for us to enjoy our time in Madrid. At the last night we had a shared dinner and now we consider them our friends! Already miss Julien, Ivo, Frijol and Leo !
We loved our stay with these Goldens. Theycwere entertaining and loving. Marguerite's home and family felt just like my own. A lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with handsome sons, a sweet aunt and considerate home owner. Would love to visit Gain when schedules align.
