Looking after Molly in Sarah’s beautiful home was an absolute joy from start to finish. We both loved Molly - she is the sweetest, loveliest little dog - and we miss her a lot already. We met Sarah for a couple of hours before she went away. She is lovely - very warm and kind - and she made us feel so welcome and relaxed in her gorgeous house with a perfect English cottage garden and the most beautiful view across the fields beyond. Sarah really has created a very special place and we felt very luck to be there. We felt at home there immediately and bonded with Molly straight away. She was so easy to care for. She is quite old and on a fair amount of medication. But Sarah’s cousin Juanita showed me her trick of wrapping each pill in a tiny bit of sliced chicken and this made it very simple! And despite being old she absolutely loves her walks. As soon as I picked up her lead she would turn into a puppy again! Literally dancing around me! And even though we did quite short walks - just 30 mins twice a day alternating between the 3 beautiful local walks straight from the front door - she would race about like a mad thing, sniffing everything with gusto and then dragging me back home when I put her lead back on again with me struggling to keep up at times! And the rest of the time she was lovely to be around - always good natured, happy and affectionate. It was the perfect sit in the perfect surroundings and the perfect pooch! And we both send a big thank you to Sarah for 2 such happy weeks.
Wonderful sit! Ludo is a sweet and playful dog, we also enjoyed sitting together in the TV room. Gemma is a gentle host, we met some days before and gave me a tour of the neighborhood and showed me the house. I appreciate that I could meet her and Ludo before the sit. Communication was excellent throughout my stay. The house is well located (only 15 minutes to the city center by bus or 30 minutes walking and the Summertown shops are just 2 blocks away). Fantastic walking paths around! I would be happy to look after Ludo again!
I had the most wonderful time in Tara’s lovely home, she’s so sweet and made me feel extremely welcome, it couldn’t have been a better experience. The house has everything you might need and more. The location is amazing, wonderful neighborhood with lots of cool parks to walk the dogs at. Gwen and Bonnie stole my heart! The are the most wonderful dogs, I miss them already. Bonnie is so fun, loving and sweet, she’s friends with you from the minute she sees you, and has the best, funniest character! Gwen is amazing too! She’s quiet, gentle, so grateful for all the cuddles, wonderful walking partner, has the sweetest soul! I enjoyed my time with these cutest girls so much, really hoping to have a chance to see them again, they are the best!
Had a great time cat sitting for Julia and James, they were super nice and accommodating! Their 3 cats are sooo cute and friendly and so fun to look after! They are so sweet and love cuddles! The house is very nice and in a really cute area too! :)
We had a great time hanging out with Daisy in Colorado Springs! Heather and Chris were super welcoming and even let us mail some stuff to their house before our arrival. Their house was cozy and clean, has a great backyard, and is only 15 minutes away from the Garden of the Gods. A tip for future housesitters- things Daisy likes include: belly rubs, goldfish crackers, and being chased. Things Daisy does not like: squirrels, people doing yoga, and strong wind. Highly recommend this sit if you’re visiting the area!
