It was so nice to have Morgan here and not worry about my cat Dougie! He stayed for 2 weeks and I was able to get away for a conference and a vacation with my family, and I certainly had peace of mind. Thank you, Morgan!
Paige came with her 15 yo step daughter who was lovely. They took great care of our pups and the house was very clean when we came home. We hope Paige came sit for us again some time
Hugh and Annabel were very easy to communicate with and the written instructions were detailed and made for an easy and smooth sit. On arrival we were met by their friend Nicola who showed us around, introduced us to the animals and gave us a gift which Hugh & Annabel had left for us. After the build up to our wedding and then the big day, coming to Fallowfield House was an absolute pleasure. It was such a relaxing environment and the good nature of the pets made for a relaxing week. Breeze and Myrtle are both really calm dogs who enjoyed their walks and also sitting with us when we were in the house. The puppy Mable kept us entertained and got on really well with the other two dogs and especially Willow the cat. Willow was like having a third dog, she came on all our walks and kept Mable amused. The chickens were quite self sufficient and we looked in on them a few times a day to check all was ok. It was lovely to see them roaming freely and enjoying the sunshine. We had a great time with beautiful walks around the surrounding countryside. The views across the Tyne valley are fantastic. The house is absolutely beautiful with so much character and interest. Nearby Hexham is lovely and we enjoyed our visits there along with trips to see Hadrian’s Wall and Housesteads Fort. We are grateful for been given the chance to do this sit and we’d love to rerurn if we get the chance.
Lovely getting to know Ginger!
This was a dream housesit! Claire was very communicative and east going and left helpful information and a list of nice walks nearby. The cats Pablo and Tito were generally very relaxed and often curious and playful. We miss them already and we’d love to housesit for Claire and Sam again in future 😊
Ruth and family made me feel right at home and Hazel was a pleasure to sit. Dreamy stay on the best location to Ecclesall Road.
