I had a really wonderful time with Birgit. The farm is relatively large and you have your own small area with a bathroom, living room, kitchen and bedroom. The animals are really wonderful. The two dogs Godi and Floki are super loving and cuddly and easy to handle. The same goes for the horses. The cats tend to do their own thing but one sometimes comes round to be stroked. The chickens are also very easy and go back to their coop on their own in the evening. Birgit is a really nice person. She showed me everything I needed to know and was always available. On the day I arrived, she invited me for a glass of wine and we had a great chat. All in all I can only say that she really is a top host.
I recently had the great opportunity to house-sit Lawrence's place and experience beautiful Barnham. First and foremost, the home I looked after was absolutely stunning. It was evident that the homeowners took great pride in their property. The house had a warm and welcoming ambiance, making it feel like a true home away from home. The homeowners themselves were incredibly kind and hospitable. They provided detailed instructions about the house, including all necessary information about its operation, security, and maintenance. They were readily available via phone or email for any questions or concerns I had, which made me feel supported throughout my stay. The amenities provided were also top-notch. The neighbourhood where the house was located was a peaceful and picturesque area, perfect for long walks or simply sitting enjoying the serene surroundings. All dogs were very well trained and got along well together. Thank you for a relaxing stay!
Had a wonderful time taking care of Ralph, Hunter and Molly. They are easy to look after and great communication with the family!! Highly recommend this house sit to anyone who enjoys pet company and going to the dog park!!!
We had such a lovely time staying at Sarah's and looking after Jackson, Maebh, and Ialach! Sarah picked us up from the train and we got a proper tour of the house as well as a thorough hand over in terms of what needed to be done and where things were. The dogs were so cuddly from the moment we got there and if we were on the couch, so were they. They each have their own personality which was really fun to see come out during our time there. We were tasked with giving some medication to two of the dogs which was really easy to do. Sarah and her family were so welcoming and the dogs were lovely, we'd happily sit for them again!
Gunner was an amazing dog to pet sit for! He is super easy going and is not shy to new people in the slightest. Kelsey’s home was very comfortable and had everything we could need during our stay. She responds promptly if you need anything but everything was set up for our stay that I didn’t really need to reach out for any assistance. I would definitely recommend this sit and would come back anytime!
