Our cat needed a mini vacation, so we booked her stay at The Cat's Meow for the weekend while we were shuttled off to Vancouver ;) Posh stayed in the Penthouse suite and opted for Cuddle Time, she was very happy with her first weekend away from home. She had her own food, linens and her own luxurious space so she wouldn't have to stress over interacting with other cats. Drop off and pick up was easy as you drive out towards Schwartz Bay, just pull off at the Mitchell Farms road and you'll find it. A donkey greeted us and a raven cawed above, so we took that as good omens. Posh can't wait to return over the holidays for a longer break from her humans!

Always a joy to visit Puppy Love. The staff is friendly and they all know Axel. Axel always leaves happy and I highly recommend Puppy Love Pet Care if you need to travel and are unable to take your K9 friend along with you. Puppy Love is just minutes from the Victoria airport and a short drive to the ferry in Sydney. You may call or send an email to set up a kennel. I recommend the daily playtimes as I know your little buddy is worth it. If your pet has any medications I recommend detailed instructions and a medication box that divides the days of the week to make it as easy as possible for the handlers to care for your pets needs. Do not bring your pets absolute favorite toy but rather get a new toy for their stay at the care center. I also suggest any sort of padded mat for your pet to rest on. And lastly to avoid any sort of over feeding. Pack their food in portions in clear containers. Simple. That’s all. Be sure to say Hi to all the animals that are residents of the care center. You’ll see what I mean.

Puppy Love is so great! My dog can’t handle group boarding, she’s too shy and so her past boardings didn’t work out well. After her first stay at this kennel, she looked so happy and barely made complaining and/or sad noises at us when we picked her up. The second time we dropped her off, she happily went in and was searching for her own little space/crate. It’s such a relief that we found this place for our dog, and the staff is super friendly.

It was my first time leaving my Dog in boarding so it’s hard for me to compare. But the property was build on beautiful location, welcoming staff and very clean. Each dog had their own space. 20 min from town and on your way from ferry which is very convenience.

Well we had a family emergency 😕 and we had to leave our beloved Blu with Puppy Love Pet Care Center 💙 It was tuff especially for Blues Human Momma 😊 but they were so kind and professional as well as supportive. And made the week away from Blu as positive as possible 💙. For all they provide and do the bill was very reasonable. The staff that brought Blu out to us were already freinds with Blu and Blu was happy with them , of course she was more happy to see Momma 😃 . So l do recommend them if you are in need of a place to have your Hairy baby a place to stay while you are away .

I took my long-hair Persian here for a groom. It was during COVID when many groomers had been closed for months so he was a bit matted. I know it would be hard to brush it out so I asked for a shave. It was so poorly executed (see photos). He looked so ridiculous and was in poor spirits for weeks following his groom.

Very lovely place to board our dog. The staff was very helpful and accommodating for the booking. Our dog seems to have been well cared for ! We will come again !

Rick and Heather are incredible care givers for my pups! They are salt of the earth, great people who genuinely love caring for dogs! Rick even offered to meet me at the hospital to pick up my dogs when I had to urgently get to a major family emergency. He offered to keep them for as long as I needed too. (Which ended up being 4 days! ). I never had to worry about my dogs. They were so loved while getting to play in their great yard. Every time we start heading up Rick’s driveway, my pups go crazy and can’t wait to get out of the car to greet them!! I’m so grateful to Rick and Heather! Thank you!

Rick and Heather provide the most amazing care for our dog, Louie. Needless to say, we were nervous about leaving him overnight as he was a young puppy when we first starting leaving him at Small Dog Boarding. Louie's experience and ours has been nothing but wonderful! The intake process is thorough and the dogs receive a "trial" run staying for the day. Rick was most helpful in providing tips for Louie's further training, particularly recall. The dogs enjoy acres of fenced property where they can romp leash free; and they sleep in Rick and Heather's home, becoming part of the family. If a dog needs medication or any other special attention, they are happy to provide it. Louie loves his time at Small Dog Boarding. He receives lots of socialization with their dogs; and is safe, happy and healthy. When he goes back, he is nothing but excited to get out of the car and join the crew. Rick and Heather took excellent care of our 2 small dogs for a few nights. Would definitely trust them again! Made everything super easy and it was comforting knowing our dogs would be staying with the best and would be having fun. One of our dogs even tried to go back upon pick up! Our 3 year old mixed Terrier, Snoopy, has stayed with Rick and Heather multiple times and he LOVES it. They provide him with a comfortable home away from home plus the benefit of a huge property to get to be a dog outdoors. When he is there we know he is in safe hands and he comes home tired and happy.

Rick and Heather took great care of our energetic Jack Russell for 23 days while we traveled overseas. She looked happy and healthy when we fetched her, and I am so happy we found a home away from home for our pup!

It is such a relief to leave my little dog at Rick and Heather's. He thrives in the home-like environment and around their beautiful property and came back happy. Highly recommend if you have a small dog and don't feel comfortable leaving them at bigger places that mix all size of dogs and treat it more like a commercial operation.

We are so happy that we got referred to Small dog boarding. This was the first time our dog Vexie stayed with anyone outside our home. She doesn't have regular contact with other dogs, so we were understandably nervous about how it would go. There was absolutely nothing to worry about, Rick and Heather have tons of experience and our little dog was well cared for, safe and happy. We were very impressed with how professional Rick and Heather are. From the first visit showing Vexie around, to the detailed form we filled out letting them know exactly what our dog likes and dislikes, we were assured that she would be looked after by people who love dogs and know perfectly well how to make her feel at home away from home. Having peace of mind about how Vexie was doing while we were away made our trip so much more enjoyable; I was particularly grateful for the pictures and updates. We look forward to taking Vexie back with Rick and Heather for our (and Vexie's) next big holiday. Highly recommended!

We were in a bit of a bind, trying to find pet sitting for our dog Riggins while we were away on a family vacation. I came across an ad for Small Dog Boarding and thought I would enquire about their boarding services. Rick was incredibly responsive right away, and walked me through their assessment/intake process (having our dog visit their property with us and then leaving him for a half day to see how he adjusts). We were very impressed with their style of dog boarding (the dogs are allowed in their home and treated like 'one of the family') and also impressed with the property they have for the dogs to spend time in. We left Riggins for 12 days with Rick and Heather and it went better than we could have expected. Rick was fine with us checking in via text fairly often and responding to let us know how things were going. He even sent a few pictures, which was above and beyond. I have never heard of a boarding place that incorporates the dogs into home and family like Small Dog Boarding. Their service is incredible and I would not hesitate to recommend them at all. We hope to start travelling a bit more now and will definitely be calling on Rick and Heather again if we have the need to leave Riggins behind. I have boarded my small dog here multiple times. He is quite introverted so I was initially worried about him staying with other dogs for multiple days. I shouldn’t have worried! He always has a great time here and Rick is always very patient answering all my questions and concerns before and during the stay. This is my go-to boarding spot and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Thank you, Rick!!

They were amazing with our 3 large breed dogs, and the dogs LOVE it there. We had anxiety about leaving them, but everyone was so understanding, and they provided updates and pictures. We have used their daycare and boarding services and recommend both.

We have been sending our two dogs to Pet Pampering for years. Our boys always come home happy and tired. Our older dog has boarded with them dozens of times. The staff and owner are very knowledgeable and kind. They have always been able to accommodate us, even on short notice emergency situations. They are professional and compassionate and we are always confident that our dogs are in good hands! So grateful for Pet Pampering and cannot say enough good things about them!

I went for a meet and greet today and the facility is beautiful. Very well taken care of. The staff is very friendly, dogs all seem happy. I'm taking my husky there on Monday and I couldn't be more excited for her to beable to run free and play with other dogs in a controled environment.

Awesome place to take your dog for the day or to board. They ensure all dogs are up to date with their vaccines and they work with all the dogs and their different demeanors to make sure all of the dogs are secure while staying there.

We originally had a reservation at another kennel and went to check it out (before we left our puppy with them for the week). We were disgusted by how the other kennel 'took care' of the dogs and how you had to pay extra for outside play time. The dogs were completely neglected and locked up all day. We are SO HAPPY we found out about Pet Pampering and felt completely comfortable leaving our Shiba puppy in their hands. He was excited to go back for his next visit, which says it all!!

We have been taking our little dog Marvin there for daycare and boarding about 2 years now. The staff there are amazingly wonderful and they really get to know my dog. Marvin was a bit nervous and hesitant when he started, but now he would just voluntarily walk into the gate to greet the staff, so nice to see that! My dog is older and they always make sure he is okay throughout the day and let me know when I pick him up. Thank you for all you do to take care of Marvin, we really appreciate that!

Love this place! My dog always has a great time. She stayed with them for over a month in the summer while I traveled. They said I could email for updates and they posted pictures on Facebook of the dogs. Great place.

Our dog loves going to pet pampering. The staff there are friendly and really get to know your dog. They help with behaviors and offer suggestions. Very affordable and love that the dogs are outside every day, rather than cooped up in a tiny room like in most doggy day cares.

Robyn has been the most lovely cat sitter! When she wasn’t available the first time I reached out, she quickly recommended other services that were also great. She has been conscientious and loving with our cat, sending photos and staying in close communication. And of course, she thinks our cat is the cutest ;) We will miss her help when we move. I highly recommend Island Time!

We are so glad we found Robyn. She has watched our dog (Jindo mix) for two separate week long trips, and it has gone great. Her space is clean, she has a kind and caring approach and communicates regularly with pics and messages. She has a great yard and took our pup on lots of walks. We had a small issue come up with our dog during our last trip and she handled things thoughtfully and we didn’t have to stress knowing our dog was in good hands. Would highly recommend!

Wow!! What can we say? 🐾 🥳 Knowing your dog and cat are in SUCH good hands, especially with a new auntie they ADORE is such a relief. 🤗 We have a rescue doggo with a history, who needs important meds twice a day. Ruthie 🐕 is so sweet, but can be a bit of a handful. She has a bit of old fear/anxiety and is *waves hand* at new people, but once you're in the Ruthie Club, you're in there! You get such a goofy, fun girl. We had a big two-week trip planned, and we hadn't spent a night away from Ruthie in the 3y she'd been with us and now with the new meds... 🥺 We found Robyn (and Marina) to house/pet sit Ruthie and our orange cat Hamish 🐈 (who has his own anxieties, often pulling his hair out when he thinks somebody is missing). You probably know that feeling of looking forward to being away, but worrying sick that the furkids are going to be okay. Sometimes still worrying when you are on the trip! 😮‍💨 We had none of that worry!! We did a couple meet-and-greet test walks and an overnight with "Auntie Robyn", and they hit it off great! In the Ruthie Club straight away. And for us, we just immediately got the sense of care and capability from Robyn. The feeling that she can handle this, she knows what to do if something comes up, and they're going to have a great time together. 🤗 You can tell yourself this all day, but unless you feel it, that background worry won't go away, even after you go away on your trip. Well we felt it right away! This is the first trip we did where we didn't have that background worry (our previous dog was much easier but we still felt it when we went away). Ruthie had SUCH an amazing time, and everything from the meds to the cuddling in beds went perfectly!! We got updates of the gang doing all kinds of adventures, snuggling, palling around with other dogs. We kept saying it was Summer Camp for Ruthie, and she didn't have time to miss us! Even Hamish had a great time! (Didn't pull out any belly hair!!) We are honestly justifying future travel, just so Ruthie can get more time with her Auntie Robyn (and Auntie Marina)! 🤣

Robyn is an incredible human who has taken the best care of our challenging dog, Ruby. She has bonded with our sweet Ruby quite quickly, and Ruby loves spending time with Robyn every week. Robyn's dedication to understanding dogs, their body language, behaviours, and quirks, is truly impressive. She works diligently to connect with them and their owners, ensuring she provides the highest quality care. Ruby and I give her five stars, and we are more than willing to share her :) (Seriously, she is fantastic; hire her!).

We can not say enough good things about Robyn and her pet care services. We were visiting the area for an event and needed someone to look after our dog, Sam. Within a short time, we could tell that Robyn was a perfect choice to watch over Sam and make him feel at home while we were away. I would highly recommend Robyn to anyone looking for someone to take care of their furry family member - we wished we lived closer by so that we could use her services more frequently. She is a sure bet for those who are local or coming in from out of town. Five plus stars for Robyn and Island Time Pet Care!

Our family has a Zoo. One dog, 3 cats (2 special needs) and 3 reptiles. Robyn took on this unique situation with Care and Compassion. She sent daily texts and videos of the animals’ adventures with her and even drove one fragile cat for a vet follow-up. We felt so relieved that Robyn was at our home while we were enjoying a family vacation. Thank you for your kindness Robyn and we highly recommend You to other families with furry and cold blooded critters :)

Robyn has been walking our dog, who has some reactivity issues, and I'm so glad I found Robyn because I could trust her to continue her training routine using training methods I approved of. Robyn bonded with my dog right away and my dog was so excited to go on walks with her. This really took a huge weight off my shoulders. Robyn is very professional and always came on time and sent pictures and updates after every walk. Unfortunately we are moving, otherwise we would continue to use her services. She is great, we will miss her!

Robyn stopped in for 2 visits a week to see our Pomchi puppy Lexi. Robyn was great with her. They went for a walk or played outside. She messaged at each visit letting me know she was there and sent pictures. You always hope you have someone great to care for your pup as much as you do. Robyn exceeded my expectations. We will use her again in the future and would recommend her to anyone.

If we could give Robyn more than 5 stars we would! We were heading on a trip abroad and were nervous about finding the right place/person to look after our dog Cedar. Turns out we had nothing to worry about once we had found Robyn. She took amazing care of our boy and sent us daily updates, pictures and videos. He got so much enrichment, care and love while we were gone, he almost didn't want to come home! Robyn welcomed Cedar into her home for the 3 weeks we were gone and treated him like a king, we couldn't ask for anything more. She also looked after our cat Samurai who stayed at our house. She went by every day to make sure he was ok and had enough food - & checked in on our chickens out the back too. Robyn is amazing with the animals and knows how to tailor their care to their needs. Such a relief to have found her and Island Time Pet Care... your pets will be in great hands with Robyn, highly recommend!

Robyn has cared for Nano several times, including both overnights and shorter visits. Robyn's love of and engagement with animals is apparent every time she comes over, she so quickly attends to our dog's enthusiasm and love of chasing ball! We receive regular updates about how Nano is doing, including great photos. Nano loves Robyn, and we never have to worry about him when he's in Robyn's care. I actually think Nano's a bit disappointed when we come home and his visit with Robyn is over!

This is an exceptional dog walking experience for my furry friend twice a week. I love knowing he is being so genuinely well cared for and exercised when I can’t take him. The pictures I get from each walk share his adventures with me. I swear he is smiling in many of them. He gets excited when I put his things out for his walks, so I know he is looking forward to his pick ups and play dates. He is much more social now that he has his pack group. All the walkers and the owners genuinely care about my little guy and it shows. I highly recommend this service for anyone who is considering it. Don’t hesitate. This is a very professional and reputable business.

Wolf in the Winter has been great for Koda. She is really enjoying the socialization with other dogs. The trainers are really amazing and really care about what they do. They are genuinely interested in the well being of our dog. So professional and caring.

Our dogs love their walks with Curt and Grayce! They crash for the whole night once they get back. They also manage to get smiles out of my nervous dog which is a big feat (she has less than 10 people on her smile list.)

We spotted Wolf in Winter's vans in our neighbourhood and decided to give them a call, and have been using them for our little bug, Mickey, three times a week, and he absolutely loves every minute of his time with them! Our pup has been going for weekly pack runs with Wolf In Winter over the last 7 months or so. We found the service to be very reliable, professional and friendly. Our pup is always excited to go and very satisfied upon return. Tired dog= happy owner. We liked that they put a cap on the nunber of dogs allowed to run in each pack and felt assured that the dogs let in were vetted and sociable. We have enjoyed the service. Thanks Wolf In Winter.

My cat boy in not an easy guy to love, but he was very much at ease with Bob. I have taken my boy to several kennels but because of the hoarding situation he came from, he's totally stressed by other cats. I returned from a six day trip away, and my cat was so happy to have been in his own home. Happy to see me, but not a basket case like he's been after some kennel visits. Bob is the best.

I thought I wrote one of these, but I'll gladly do it again... Bob has been watching our pets for about six years or so. First our cat, and most recently our new dog. Not only does he do a fantastic job, he's reliable, trustworthy, and kind. We couldn't ask for anyone better to watch our pets. Being in the military, I am away a lot. Bob has never let us down... We were on vacation and had to extend it due to a family emergency; Bob was there for us. I will never let anyone else have keys to my home or take care of my animals so long as Bob is around. Fantastic! Highly recommend.

Bob and his wife took wonderful care of our dog 🐶 Tito for two half days. This was first time Tito gone to daycare and he loved it. They went to Island View Beach with 5 other doggies. Tito came home exhausted from all the fun he had. Thnaks again Bob, we will definitely be back woof woof …

Silvia and Andrea are amazing pet sitters! They have been very accommodating with my work schedule to help look after my girls. So happy to have found them and my fur baby girls love them! I can't recommend Silvia and Andrea enough! They took such amazing care of my cat Topaz. I got the cutest photos and videos everyday, and felt so confident leaving my girl with them. My cat can be quite shy with new people, but I could see that they took the time to build trust and a connection with her, which I really appreciated. Amazing pet sitters! We are so thankful we found Silvia and Andrea!!! I am incredibly picky about whoever watches our Honey Bear. She is quite anxious around other dogs after being used for breeding and also has a complicated food and walking schedule and many allergies. I've had anxieties in the past around people not taking our instructions seriously, but Silvia and Andrea have gone above and beyond they really care and listen to all your needs!!!! I have zero fears or anxieties with them watching Honey at all!! They are so caring and loving, and Honey just adores them which is the best part! They love my dog just as much as I do and send so many pictures and updates, which is beyond important to us! I recommend them very highly, and if I could give 10+ stars, I would! We have two huge babies at 125lbs each, and we need very capable loving folks to help take care of them, we are so grateful for Sylivia and Andrea… the pups love them! And they send us so many photos, which helps, because we miss them! Its wonderful to see them back home having a good time, playing and enjoying themselves. Silvia and Andrea are such warm and caring pet sitters! We always feel comfortable and assured having them come visit and take care of our two cats when we leave town. Silvia and Andrea stayed at our apartment with our two cats while we were away for ten days. I cannot express enough how happy we were with their care and love for our animals! We received multiple updates a day with lots of photos of our cats, who were clearly in bliss with their new friends! Both of our cats have separation anxiety and one of our guys needs to be given medications in both pill and liquid form, which was no problem at all with Andrea and Silvia. We could see that they spent an incredible amount of time with our cats every day. When we returned home, our cats were the happiest and calmest they have ever been after being away from us! I will also say that we returned to an apartment that was immaculately clean too! it is nice to come home to a clean place, but we did not expect it to look like professional cleaners came in! It was such a relief to have had such wonderful, caring, loving people take care of our fur babies! They mean the world to us and Silvia and Andrea gave them the best care in the world! Thank you so much! We and the boys look forward to having Silvia and Andrea take care of them again the next time we are away!

Where to start?! Our 2 year old pup has been going on walks with Amy for about 6 months now. Amy has been so professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. If we need a referral for anything dog-related she knows her stuff. Also, our pup had some anxiety issues and they were quickly resolved with these magical trips with Amy. He greets her with a smile all the time. Amy's walks have helped improve his quality of life which is priceless. He is just a happy pup. We are so thankful we found her!

Amy has helped us immensely over the last couple of years, whenever we have not been able to provide daily adventures our border collie ourselves. He absolutely loves her and gets so excited when he hears her name. She has gone above and beyond to make sure he has a great time and make our lives easy. She has amazing and stable rates, communicates well, and most importantly always ensures our pup is safe and cared for, and he comes home tired and surprisingly clean for a dog frolicking around the forest/beach/fields 😂 I recommend Amy and her team to anyone in the westshore who is looking for a trustworthy, friendly, caring person to take your dog on off leash adventures or for overnight dog boarding.

Pacific Dogwood Dog walking is amazing! My pup Winnie has been a part of the pack for four months and I honestly can’t say enough good things about Amy and her staff. Winnie loves going on adventure walks with her new dog friends, and I especially love how tired she is afterwards. The amazing photos that Amy and her awesome staff take on the walks are a testament of just how much fun the dogs are having and also demonstrates how much control she has of the pack, it’s truly incredible. She treats every dog with love and kindness as if they were her own. I am completely worry free about leaving my dog in Amy’s care and highly recommend this service.

Amy and her crew are fantastic. Our puppy is high energy and his pack hikes are really helping us with his energy levels! He loves Amy so much he leaps into her arms when she arrives to get him. We've left him while we are away as well with both Amy & Chantelle and have been so pleased. Our minds are at ease knowing he is happy and safe and having so much fun with all the other dogs.

Amy is beyond amazing! She is so kind, gentle, and is compassionate with every dog she has under her care! We love having her as our leader for Panda Bear. We love what she does with the dogs, taking them on daily adventures. Panda always comes home happy and tuckered! We love hearing updates and photo updates of her hikes! Any is brilliant. We are so happy to have found her after a very scary incident happened with another dog walker. She approached our situation with great patience and understanding - knowing that our dog Leroy might be scared of the whole pack walk experience. Amy has made Leroy fearless again after having many positive experiences with her. She’s not only great with the dogs but her communication, work ethic and positivity make her such a great fit for us. Leroy LOVES her. We are so grateful we have someone we trust with our dog. We have been using pacficdogwood for a year now. Amy and her team are wonderful, caring, loving, professional and attentive. Our dog Penny started going out for hikes with Amy at 1 years old it’s been a blessing in her overall training. Our dog is now a well socialized dog with excellent dog manners. Which I think Amy and her team helped make her a well rounded dog. I always receive a text msg when penny is going to be picked up and when she’s coming back home. Also at the end of the day we get photos of her out with her dog friend's having the best time ever. Happy. Happy. Happy. Dogs love it here and we love leaving Koko with Amy and her crew for a day, a week or a month. Koko has such a fun, healthy, learning experience with "the pack" I feel guilty when her time is up and she has to come home. Amy is the best, she is a great communicator and pays attention to details. Daily photos and videos keep us in the loop when we're away. Do yourself and your dog a favour.

Amy is absolutely amazing! She has taken my pup Frankie on many adventures and sends me photos and updates when I'm missing her. She's one of the only people I trust to look after her when I'm gone. As soon as Frankie sees Amy she lights up with overwhelming happiness. I always know she's in good hands. Very, very highly recommended!

Carlos just got home from a weekend at Pawsh. The first couple of times he was nervous he can be a shy dog. We knew he was in good hands as our beloved Presley loved Pawsh. This weekend Carlos went right up to the door and wanted in. We could go away and feel relaxed. Carlos has been sleeping since he got home. All the activity and social time has tired him out. Lisa and her team of animal caregivers are incredible. A Pawsh Oasis is the only other place our wacky cat, Cheetah, feels safe and happy. It’s truly an oasis for the animals and our family knows he will be cared for like he’s their own. Highly recommend this place and business.

Rufus just spent 3 weeks at Pawsh. He had a great time! He loves to go there for daycare/boarding and it’s easy to leave him knowing that he’s excited to go. Thanks so much to all of you for your kind and loving care of our boy:)

I’ve been taking my dogs to Pawsh for daycare for the last two years and I love it! The hours are very accommodating and my dogs always come home exhausted from a good days play. The staff are very attentive to my dogs needs; my younger pup is shy around people but sure loves the staff there, especially the walk lady 😉 Pawsh has been great for getting her comfortable around new people and dogs. Our older dog doesn’t need to go to daycare anymore but we send him as a treat. We’ll be lifelong customers ❤️ Here’s a photo of Quinn on one of her daily pack walks at Pawsh.

Our dog has been going to Pawsh for over a year now. She loves to be outdoors and they have the perfect setup for that. She’s always excited to go and loves her cuddles at drop off. She comes home tired, but peaceful. All staff care for our girl like she’s their own and I know she’s safe/having fun when she visits for daycare/boarding.

I boarded my cat Charlie with them for 3 weeks and it was a good experience for him and I. Charlie is a large breed cat and, since they accommodate the cats in furnished 'suites' and don't use kennels or cat condos, he had room to move and a comfy window perch to watch the birds from. I received quick replies when I checked in on him during my travels AND they sent me multiple photos each time. I picked up a slightly grumpy (LoL) but well cared for cat who settled back into his home routine extremely quickly. Thanks to the team - I would trust you with Charlie anytime!

My Pup loves Pawsh Oasis! She runs into the building and doesn’t look back. Makes me feel good when I leave her there. It’s so warm and cozy inside and dogs are allowed to roam like home. I know Molly will be well looked after ❤️

My dogs run inside and are always so tired afterwards which is a great sign. The daycare and boarding are both great options, and they are very accommodating with scheduling. Highly recommend 😊! …

After a building fire in our home PawshOasis stepped right up making room for our cat Tuna. We had no where for her to live til we sorted out what to do. Not only did they step up for us but PAWSH is a palace made with love. It’s an Amazing place for your pet to stay while you are out of town etc. Not a worry in the world.

Lisa and her team are amazing with Zoey. She loves to go there when I am doing my day shifts as a nurse. They do a great job with accommodating my shift work and making sure Zoey gets great care. A big shout out to Lisa, Zack and John who I see most often and who love my dog like it’s there own.

Dave is amazing! Our dog, Rupert looks forward to his adventure hikes with Dave and the other pups every week. If he could, Rupert would go daily:) We are so happy that a friend recommended Dave and Heather. They are both fantastic!

Our pup's adventure days are the best part of his week. He waits and waits at the door and goes crazy when it's pickup time. They get so many fun adventures, great exercise and time behaving for someone else. I highly recommend Nugget and Friends.

We have never found a better service for our family. Whenever we are in Victoria we send our girl out for hikes with Heather and her troop. She has a special connection with my (difficult to please) dog. She is typically very shy but definitely not with Nugget and friends. Luna has also stayed overnight with Heather and her family. Her communication is impeccable and I love all of the photos that they post on social media. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with Luna and I would recommend her to everyone. We may just have to move to Victoria so Luna can become a regular pack member.

Heather is so great! My dog has stayed for several overnight trips and I’ve always felt comfortable and trusting that she was 1) safe, and 2) having a good time. Heather’s location is perfect for beach runs and she limits the number of dogs she cares for so everyone gets lots of attention. I really appreciate the text and photo updates that Heather sends throughout my dog’s stay. It’s nice to hear that everyone is settling in okay and to see photos of the puppy crew having fun outside together. I also trust that Heather is being consistent with training and behaviour expectations for my pup. Highly recommend Heather to others looking for a safe, friendly, and fun boarding experience for their dogs.

Heather and Dave are the best! Our dog loves them maybe even more than us.🤓. When our dog hears their car coming down the driveway she runs to the door and can hardly wait to get going for her walk. Heather and Dave provide a home so safe and loving that we feel comforted when we go on a vacation. We don’t know what we would do without them.💕

Heather was amazing with our Max. She constantly sent me pics and videos and he looked so so happy! I’ll be sending max back for a staycation in the future for sure!!

We got lucky when we were introduced to Heather, Dave & Nugget! When our plans fell through for boarding, my daughter in law suggested we call Heather. Even though she was on maternity leave and not taking dogs at the time - she took ours! Rosie was only 10 months so it was difficult to find someone who would take a puppy and someone we could trust with our young pup. I had a great feeling about them right off the bat and Rosie had the best time! Nugget put up with her and they are great friends now. Rosie looks forward to her weekly hike with the group. Heather is a true dog lover and she brings that energy to her pack. She trained our bouncy puppy to walk off leash, reinforced her obedience training, and gives her a fun, safe outing every time. Poppy is always excited to see Heather!

Heather is so great with our crazy big puppy!! So calm and happy with him. He has learned to behave so much better out hiking as well! We feel so lucky to trust such a wonderful dog walker/trainer! Finn is thrilled every time!

Our lab has been having a great time going on adventure hikes with Heather and the gang for the past month. Heather is so good with her and treats her like she was her own pup, and makes sure she keeps up with her manners <3

My Christmas and I have known Denise before she started Denise’s Doggy Den.The place she was working for wouldn’t look after him because of his barking , he loved to talk. Denise offered to look after him at her while my wife and I went away, I was so grateful . That was about ten years ago and we let her look after Christmas many times until he left us last Sept.2023 He loved being left and he loved coming home. I am so happy for her and her successful business.

Denise is professional, reliable, and trustworthy. My dogs simply love to see her. She always makes sure the dogs are safe during the walks. For example If it is warm she takes extra water and finds coolers areas to walk. She avoids walking on hot asphalt. And she always checks them over for spurs and ticks when she returns. I don’t know what we would do without her! Thank you for your amazing service and I appreciate I can leave and know my pups are taken well care of!

Denise is the best! I only leave my two toy aussies with her when I go away. I don’t even ask family. It’s truly evident that she cares for my dogs like they are hers. She takes on the responsibility with joy and passion. I am very grateful for your service.

We have left our fur baby several times for extended holidays (10 days +) and we have always been so pleased with Denise’s care. We get photo and text updates. Cairo loves his time socializing and hanging out with his pals. We love knowing he’s in a small boarding group and has walks and free range of the house… just like being home!

Denise is reliable and takes care of my dogs like they're her own. Reasonable rates to walk, feed and love on them when I can't get home during the workday. I can trust her to respect my belongings and she never leaves my home unlocked. My dogs are a handful and she deals with their high energy behaviour very well. She's also been an amazing cat sitter, totally trust my cat with her.

In the 9 years I've had my little Schnauzer I've only left her a couple of times and always with a relative. Then I met Denise walking two little dogs in the forest and found out she didn't own them she was hired to walk them....but also noticed she walked them every day faithfully as I did mine. Dog conversation led to being given a card for Denise's Doggy Den even though I was sure I wouldn't need her services. About a year later I was about to have a 3-day getaway, and rather than go to a relative who was not healthy at the time I called Denise. Best decision ever! My dog loved being there with other doggy friends and a back yard and of course most of all Denise. Just got back from a 10 day trip and again, could not be happier with Denise's Doggy Den.

My friend introduced me to Denise and I was so happy she did! Denise provides top notch care to Daisy and I am so confident to leave her there. Her house and secure yard are a dog's dream. She truly loves her visitors and has high professional standards. Thanks Denise and hubby for providing a happy place for her.

Denise is amazing! We moved to the area a couple of years ago and are so happy to find her. We travel a few times of year and Denise is very professional and really cares for Bruno - he loves her. I always have fur baby guilty leaving Bruno but it makes me feel so much better knowing that she is taking such good care of him!

Denise is excellent. We have entrusted her with the care of our Westie Hamish for the last 3 years. He is always very well taken care of. We always feel guilty he can’t come on our trips but when we get the Facebook pictures of him with Denise we know he’s having a great time. Highly recommend Denise!!
