I very much enjoyed my stat at Lauretta's. The area is lovely and the house both comfortable and clean. Lauretta and her husband are very nice people and very kindly took the time to go through everything I needed to know about the area, the house and above all, their lovely animals.
We spent nearly two weeks looking after Sally’s gorgeous cats and beautiful home. We loved every minute of it. Sally’s home is lovely, modern, confortable and in walking distance to a lovely country pub but we mainly enjoyed the afternoon walks in the forest. We were incredibly lucky to be able to enjoy Sally’s beautiful designer garden with a vegetable patch that produces delicious tomatoes, beetroot, chillies, cucumber etc in such lovely weather. It made watering it a pleasure. Tolouse and Bee are two beautiful cats, they are calm, friendly and very easy and delightful to be with. We will miss them! We would really recommend staying at Sally’s home, she is a lovely person and a fantastic hostess, We hope we can come back soon.
Stephanie's house is very comfortable and in a great neighborhood for walking and biking if you like that. It is close to all kinds of cute shops and restaurants within walking distance. Her dog Coco is adorable and comfortable with people and other dogs. She mainly just wants her short walks, regular feeding and some tender loving care. Duke the cat has a great personality who enjoys getting petted and a chance to explore outside. I highly recommend Stephanie's place!
Allan and I loved our sit in the lovely village of Lymm in Julia’s beautiful comfortable home. Julia left us an informative welcome guide and maps on the area. The hens were very generous with their delicious eggs and Kitty was easy to look after and we enjoyed her company. Thank you for picking us to look after your pets we had a great time including some lovely walks by the canal and in the scenic village of Lymm and a great location to visit Liverpool.
I loved sitting for Fluffer at Lisa´s condo in Brewerytown. He is a super sweet cat that loves to be pet, and he is very affectionate. Lisa has a beautiful condo with a view of the Art Museum and her neighborhood, Brewerytown, city´s skyline. She is only a 15 minute walk from the Art Museum and its nearby attractions, plus only 5 minutes to the neighborhood´s shopping, cafes and stores. If you want to do an amazing house sit in Philadelphia with a super sweet cat and a very wonderful owner, then this one is for you :) Thank you Lisa :)))
I enjoyed my weekend in Colinton, Edinburgh. Really nice house right next to the Water of Leith with frequent buses into the centre of Edinburgh. The cats were shy and I didn't see much of them but it is the summer and they enjoy spending time in their garden during the day. Both Rebecca and Andrew were friendly and showed me where everything was.

We were nervous leaving our 4 cars behind whilst away for a week and turns out we didn't need to be. I contacted Robyn early in year and the communication and information received was perfect . Robyn visited couple weeks before our trip and took all the details and day before our trip Katie visited who would be doing the visits. Throughout the week we were away we would get constant updates via a what's app group which was nice and each day we could see the cats getting use to Katie's visits. Katie was awesome, spending time with the cats but also making sure the litter was clean and food was available. There was a few things we asked Katie to do and these were done each time. We have one cat who doesn't take to any stranger and over the week, even he got used to Katie coming. Mid way through the week, we realized we could change things up and make it more efficient and both Katie and Robyn were happy to change things round. I would highly recommend this company over any cattery.
Katie, our we love pets, Pendle, carer was brilliant with Gus the cat and Jessie J our guinea pig. We received lots of daily info including photos and video's. Gus was very comfortable with Katie and we didn't get grumbled at on our return from holiday, which is usual from him when he has been in kennels! As first time users of the service, we highly recommend Robyn and Katie and we will definitely be using the team again. Thank you!
I would definitely recommend We Love Pets Pendle. Kitty is 17 years old and totally blind so was a bit nervous about leaving her but I needn't have worried. Bethany was really good with her and it was lovely to get pictures of her eating her food and getting cuddles every day. Good communication with Robyn too. Will be happy using the service again for our next holiday.
We Love Pets Pendle are without a doubt the best pet sitting service I've ever used. The team members who looked after our gerbils and bearded dragon whilst we were away - Robyn and Bethany - were absolutely lovely, thorough, and communicated with us before, during and after our time away to ensure they could deliver the best care to our pets. Everyday we received photos and videos of the animals, as well as a detailed account of the care they'd been given. They even took our bins out for us and watered our plants! Will definitely be using We Love Pets again!
Highly recommend We Love Pets Pendle. Both Robyn and Beth were fab with our cat Oreo, and Beth sent us an update with pictures and videos every morning. Beth even delivered a parcel to the right address after it came to ours by mistake! Fabulous service, thank you ladies!

We Love Pets were better than we could imagine for home boarding! This was the first time we’ve ever left our dog, Winnie, with someone who wasn’t family but the family who took her treated her like their own. We were constantly updated with beautiful pictures of our Winnie’s “holiday” via Robyn who works at Pendle. Robyn has been lovely throughout! From initial interest to organising the home visit and throughout the stay. We would definitely use We Love Pets again, and I think Winnie would agree 🐶.
We have used Robyn twice now to look after our cats and chickens and have been absolutely delighted with the level of service provided. Nothing is too much trouble and Robyn kept us full informed about how our animals were doing in our absence. We recommend her unreservedly and you need have absolutely no hesitation in using Robyn to look after your pets. We will definitely be using her in the future.
Well what can I say. Audrey was fabulous with our three hens and two cats. Photos and updates every day, kitchen was spotless and so was the back garden, all cleaned up! She never failed us at all. Audrey even went as so far as to water the basil in the kitchen and hoover for us. She said it had been the most relaxing and easy task of feeding and cleaning all the hens and cats. She loved it! What can we say about Robyn and Paul! Oh my goodness: fantastic fantastic fantastic. We chose to board our rotty puppy with them and we just cant praise them enough for being so warm, welcoming and making our pups stay a safe, happy, wonderful experience which will 100% be repeated in the future. Their home and environment coupled with their lovely way of looking after animals makes them the absolute number 1 for anybody looking for a great place to board their animal. Honestly place looks nice, but they do not look after the animals well, my mate, my ex and now my other mate, all boarded there as no family who would, so - they all said same thing, their dogs were all skinnier and looked unwell after staying there. My mate said he gave a cushion for his dog as it was comfort for him as anything smells of home, the kennels didn't even give it to the dog, he goes they pulled it of a backroom and made some lame reason, he was fuming when I saw him. Honestly be careful if you want to leave them here or any kennels to be fair. Easy to take your money, not so easy on looking after.
Great staff and the kennels are nice and clean. Really impressed, I would be interested if the place held dog training, for it has the facilities and grounds. There is so much potential with this business. Great work team 👍 …
Just picked my little darling cat up. They had me waiting for at least ten minutes. She’s stayed there once before but I didn’t want to make a fuss. However she’s Persian and they were told she needed brushing with the brush I provided. He insisted she had been. Not likely!! The cushion was mated with fur something I’d never seen before and she was looking so shaggy and unkempt fur blowing in our faces. We picked her up a day early but of course paid for tomorrow too. For 91£ we expected more! Plus the proper biscuits she needed were untouched I was also handed half of the food sachets I had given for her! NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
Boarded all my boxers here since around 2012 everyone of them been very well looked after and loved going back.One never liked leaving.Boarded my young boy Alfred for the 1st time this yr don't think he was to keen as he is a mommas boy but he was well looked after and now I send him for doggy day care so he's used to staff ect when he next stays. Animal Lodge has looked after my dog for a number of years, and the service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and are great with my dog and I couldn't ask for anything better.
Worried about leaving your dog in boarding kennels? Don't. We have used Animal Lodge several times they are fantastic, the last time our dog was there he didn't want to come home. You get what you pay for so they say.
Knocked down two stars for two reason; 1. They charge PER DAY, which is ridiculous to me! My dog stayed for 44 hours and they charged for 3 days as they said they don’t charge per night, they charge per day. Ridiculous, so you’re just paying an extra day for absolutely no reason, even when you’ve picked your dog up in the morning, you’re still paying for that day. £52.50 for 44 hours. 2. I couldn’t get in contact with them on my dogs second day, I rang several times but no answer and it’s not nice when your dog is staying at a kennel for the first time and they don’t pick up the phone.
What a wonderful place, the staff are amazing so caring , the luxury kennels are beautiful a home from home for our dogs. I was so worried leaving our dogs as it was their first long stay while we were on holiday but the care they both got was exceptional I would not hesitate to recommend Animal Lodge.
Absolutely brilliant. We were reluctant to use kennels after previous poor experience. This place is fantastic. We have just picked Paddy up He was so well looked after. Clean kennel, friendly staff, lots of land for exercise and a happy content dog.

On booking our holidays we wanted someone to look after our little boy , So after using Digs For Dogs in Bury in the past I got in touch with them in our area (Accrington) I was contacted by Seana we made arrangements for her to come and visit us and get to know our Charlie's charter and needs . She then paired him up with a couple in Burnley, we arranged a sleepover and that was successful Seana picked him up and dropped him off . So then Charlie spent 2 weeks with a lovely couple in Burnley and I received photos and videos during his stay and we wasn't worried or anxious because we knew our boy was being well looked after. Seana was great keeping us posted with everything. Friendly and professional. We have booked our holidays for 2023 and using Digs for Dogs again. We highly recommend them because it's peace of mind knowing your furry children are looked after and safe Thankyou xx 21st August 2023 Just returned home from holiday and our little boy Charlie has been on holiday in Riston with a lovely lady for the 3rd time . When Seana picks him up he is so thrilled to see her and he knows he's going on holiday with all his home comforts , we've had regular photos and videos of him while we've been away which is great to see him enjoying and we have peace of mind knowing he's happy and safe . Seana from Digs for Dogs is fantastic. We have used her on numerous occasions, and I couldn't recommend her highly enough. We get numerous updates, photos and videos throughout our dog's stay with his hosts, which is great peace of mind, and when Seana arrives to collect him, he always jumps straight into the front seat of her van, he can't wait to go on his holidays!!
Shauna is such a caring, responsible, reliable person; a true animal lover. Our Poppy has been in her care and her wonderful fosterers several times now. She cannot wait to get in the van with Shauna and is always happy and excited to go with her on a little holiday. We receive many updates and photos of Poppy’s holiday and she is always very content and extremely well cared for. I have used digsfordogs twice and booked for a third. Service is good, both boarders have been great and looked after my puppy like their own. Excellent communication from start to finish, pictures and update messages throughout his stay, comes back a very happy well looked after dog. I have recommended to family and friends.
Used Digs for Dogs for the first time in August for a week - absolutely brilliant - First class professional service and my dog Cassie loved her ho,I day with a couple who obviously took extremely good care of her, sending me photos and videos of her exploits whilst I was away. Thinking of going away for 10 weeks in the Winter and would have no hesitation booking Digs for Digs again
we had no worries sending jet on his holidays with alison & stuart, we could tell he was happy with the pics & videos we received & also the whole process from booking/paying to pickup/drop off was worry free thanks to seana so we can enjoy our hols. Jet will be going again this year & he will love it.
Our Springer is getting on now and needs a lot of love and tlc and we can feel happy to leave him with a lovely couple who look after him and spoil him giving us peace of mind , would definitely recommend digs for dogs 🐕😊
