Freya was an excellent dog/house sitter for us! Not only did her love for animals shine through but she was a great house custodian. She arrived at the appointed date and stayed on at the end of the sit to insure that our dog was happy. The house was spotless and secure upon our return. We would happily have her back on a future sit.
We had the pleasure of pet sitting for Hunter and Pixie over the weekend, and it was an amazing experience! Hunter and Pixie are delightful pets with great personalities. And they are very funny too :) Hunter is a handsome boy who loves to play but also enjoys chilling out next to you and chewing on his ball after some playtime. Pixie, an energetic Galway girl, is absolutely obsessed with playing ball. It’s illegal to have these eyes and look at us like she does! We just couldn’t resist and did everything she wanted :) The dogs are very loving and adore being on someone’s lap, whcih feels so good. Both dogs like going for walks and are absolutely fine in a car. We had a wonderful time taking them to the John F Kennedy Arboretum (super beautiful place!!) and New Ross. We couldn’t have asked for better pets to take care of. They showered us with love and attention. Thank you for entrusting us with your wonderful pets. My children and I had an unforgettable weekend.
What a delight it was to look after Misty and Daisy, our new feline friends at Lynda & Mike’s beautiful home in the heart of the Somerset / Devonshire countryside. We arrived to a wonderful warm welcome and a hearty hot evening meal - later enjoying lots of laughs with our hosts and also their friends during a lovely evening. Woodlands is an extremely spacious property - we were allocated a beautifully adorned en-suite double bedroom overlooking immaculately maintained gardens. We particularly enjoyed exploring the local area, including trips to picturesque Minehead harbour and historic Dunster with it’s incredible Saxon castle. Both cats were delightful, Daisy is a deaf, senior lady, sleeps lots, eats well and generally enjoys human company. Misty is very vocal, reserved lady who took some encouragement to join in with us, however, she enjoyed human company and fuss at feeding times! A thoroughly memorable experience - our only hope is a Lynda and Mike invite to us to sit for them again in the future.
I just completed my sit with Raina. She is such a beautiful dog, and although she is older she still has a very playful temperament. It was a very easy sit. Leslie left clear and detailed instructions on how to care for her girl. Her place is comfortable and is located just minutes away from several shops and restaurants. I didn’t explore the area much because I just hung out with Raina and went to work, but my guess is that it’s not too far from the beach :) Thanks Raina, thanks Leslie!
It was a pleasure to care for Chrises much loved cockerpoo Magnus. Chris welcomed me with open arms into her lovely home in beautiful Andover. It was an experience which I will have fond memories of spending a fun time with Magnus and Chris.
Caring for Itsy was a wonderful experience. Melissa made me feel right at home and provided me with everything I needed to have a successful sit. The house was clean and comfortable with a lovely outdoor space. As for Itsy, she was a true delight. Sweet, affectionate, and playful. I would return to do another sit in a heartbeat!
We had a very nice stay in taking care of the house and their cat „Kitty“. Communication was very easy and clear from the beginning. We were so sorry that Tracy and her husband had to end the holidays earlier than planned because of Corona. We can highly recommend this houssitting. If it fits, we'll be happy to come back.
