Karen
This was my very first THS sit and so I really appreciated Karen’s warm, friendly welcome.
Karen was right from the start of the process, efficient and easy to communicate with.
She left a clear & easy to follow welcome pack, which was very helpful.
She is thoughtful of the needs of the sitter and even left a freshly laundered dressing gown which was such a nice touch.
The cosy, comfortable stone house is set within stunning views of the valley and there is so much natural wildlife roaming around.
The highlight for me were darling Coco & Lily, the Burmese sisters. Just a delight to care for. So affectionate and full of individual personality. We quickly bonded. It was very hard to say goodbye at the end and I still miss them.
I would love to visit the girls again and take care of both them and Karen’s lovely home in the hills.
Thanks for everything Karen. X

I loved being with these 3 lovely creatures.
Baby Benji was a delight and such a cuddle pup. Alfie is so good natured and it was a joy to watch them play at home together. Caspar is a gentle loving puss and I made sure to spend time with him upstairs as he doesn't seem to want to share space with Benji and Alfie yet.
Steven and Akyra were helpful and friendly and their home is a relaxed place right by town and well placed for walks.
Benji is doing well learning not pull on the lead and responding well to 'no' or 'down'. Alfie is very strong and was more contained walking on a short lead under close control. He can safely have space to explore in open spaces when on a long line as he's still working on his recall.
I'd be happy to return again. 😊🌿

Helen
My children and I thoroughly enjoyed house sitting for Helen and Graeme. They are a kind and welcoming couple who provided detailed information and made us feel right at home. We fell in love with Izzy and Ferdie straight away, 2 very loving and companionable cats, and we like to think they approved of us too! Helen and Graeme's house is charming and very comfortable in a lovely garden setting and Pewsey is a great base for many tourist attractions. A five star house sit and highly recommended!

RAUL
Raul's place is beautifully positioned high up in a pine forest. We found the mud straw construction of the cabin to be amazing AND amazingly comfortable. We would consider a similar build for ourselves in the future. The road in can be a little challenging in a car, but well worth it. The 3 doggies are all easy to care for and much fun to have around. The two neighboring doggie visitors were always welcome at mealtime. The caretaker Chico was there daily to care for the donkey, goat, and chickens. Lolo, the donkey was so much fun and always appreciative of a treat.

Raul is a great communicator. I wish We had gotten to spend more time together. I would recommend this sit to anyone who enjoys nature and solitude. Thanks, Raul!

Andy
From start to finish, Elly & Andys' hospitality was awesome. From being picked up at the airport a week early & dropped off at the end, to eating great vegan food & being shown New Orleans, I was made to feel very welcome & looked after.

The fur-babies! Walker was a very good boy, loved tummy rubs & I enjoyed walking him for the short time I was there. Mr Grudgy - the gentleman of the kitties - was very affectionate & a real character, as were all the kitties. Sophia - you could pat for hours & she would happily lap it up, Mia - super sweet as well & loves attention & Chapeau La, a beautiful little soul with a loud meow!

The area itself, is in a great location, right near a bus stop that will take you into town (about a 15 min ride) or a short uber/lyft away. You can even walk or ride a pushbike in, which I did, but I just wouldn't recommend it in the middle of a heatwave like I did! All in all, a wonderful sit & I would highly recommend sitting for Elly & Andy, if you get the chance. :)

Sarah was an excellent host. She made me feel very welcome in her home and was available for any questions I had. She left me comprehensive instructions, which left me feeling at ease. Her dogs were wonderful to look after!
