We've had a fantastic time in Brian's beautiful home while looking after Reggie. Reggie is a lovely, well-mannered and friendly dog. It was very easy to care for him. Reggie adores long walks and playing in the garden or nearby forestation. The house deserves special praise. It is a beautifully furnished and very comfortable dwelling with modern appliances and a fireplace. We felt very comfortable during our stay. We would love to look after Reggie again. Thanks, Brain and Candice, for the great vacation.
Taking care of Mimmie was a great pleasure, she is really adorable. Christine was very kind, she had previously informed me about the care for Mimmie, she also left us written recommendations of places to visit and emergency contacts in case of doubt. Christine's house is very comfortable, clean and bright, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and with beautiful places for walks and hikes. We thank Christine very much for the trust and the opportunity to live this experience, these days with Mimmie were very nice, we will miss her very much!
Just finished a two week stay looking after a menagerie of adorable animals. A grumpy cat (the boss) a very friendly cat who purrrrrrs as loud as a scooter! two cheeky monkeys aka the Spaniels, four noisy pigmy goats and a few chickens! Add to that a beautiful house with a fantastic Everhot range (thank you Kate for allowing me to use your cooker!) the most comfortable bed and big views in every direction. A lot to be done so you need to be physically fit but so rewarding to feed and walk the dogs, pamper the cat (s) calling the goats to come and eat and see them approaching at breakneck speed, then having to keep an eye so Wellington does not scoff anyone else’s food. We loved feeding the chickens and collecting eggs every morning and watering the polytunnel was like stepping into the tropics. An abundance of nasturtiums and green salad leaves when we were there. Ozzy and Pablo, the two Spaniels are the most amazing characters. I swear they understand human conversations! Pablo would LOOK at us in a way that made us feel really humbled to be part of this amazing animal’s life. Ozzy is the more boisterous of the two, wanting to play ball all the time, and that purple ball became part of his face as he would breathe and bark whilst holding a ball the size of a grapefruit in his jaws! The only time he would let go was when there were food on the go. Hilarious boy. They loved going out in the car which we’ve done just about every day. Lovely walks at the quarry, the beach and along the river in Wadebridge. They loved sniffing around in the undergrowth and meeting other dogs. That song about somewhere over the rainbow should be changed to ‘Somewhere on a farm in North Cornwall’ - just heavenly! We recommend this sit to any nature and animal lovers. Remote, rural, beautiful trees and fields, lots of animals and very dark at night so ideal for stargazing.
We had a wonderful sit with sweet Theo in Gwyneth and Noah's beautiful apartment in Munich. Theo is a sweet, communicative, and playful boy, and we very much enjoyed our time with him. Gwyneth's welcome guide was very detailed and helpful, and the walkthrough she gave us upon arrival set us up for a great sit. The apartment is well-located to quickly get wherever you'd like to go in central Munich, and we'd love to come back sometime! :)
Saphy is such a cute cat. It was a real pleasure to spend time with her. The house is comfortable and cosy and in a wonderful location. Nigel was very accommodating and communicative. I wouldn't hesitate to accept another chance to spend time with Saphy. Thanks for having me!
Both Bowie & Smudge were easy to look after and adorable! Smudge is so cute and could keep you busy all day playing ball if you let him! Lots of walking tracks & a huge golf course nearby to keep us all fit, Bowie loved it! Smudge was very easy & liked his own space, pick him up for a nice lead walk or secure him at one of his many favourite locations. This house was clean & tidy with ample facilities, we were made very welcome even a day early & Micheal lit the barbecue, what more could you ask for!Thanks for the sit.
